What do you do
when you have
nothing to do
think about death
or what you could do
not doing anything
but thinking of all
you could
could take hours.

You have a rather
frowny smile
are you a sad clown
or do you just
look funny when you cry
if you knew the future
would you be here
or would you have just
given up or gone
A different route.

Cosmic forces
rarely bother
to ***** their hands
bending the minds
of earth dwellers
I would assume
more than enough humans
happy to do it for them.

So and So Time
Where the people suffered
war famine and plague
worse than the usual
they had no cellphones.

Glazed life
tasty but unhealthy
should've kept
A better grip
on my soul
or sold it
for something better.

Such a fine fellow
Always handy
With a pillow
And kind enough
To aid in escaping reality
If only for an hour
Or eight
He can be cruel
Staying away
Keeping you awake
Maybe just so you know
Not to take him for granted
Could just be stress
Keeping you awake.

as that
the unknown
can you assume the worst
if it's predictable
without that extra jolt of surprise
can it be the worst possibility.
