maybe wine
lots of wounds
lots of remedys
nothing works
for everything
but laughter and time
usually help
to some extent.

The innocence of youth
which isn't always kept
in the hands of the young
it can be held in aged hands
though everyone wonders
how it can be
perhaps sought after
in the belief that
ignorance is bliss.

We fend off the dark
With artificial light
since the real stuff
is finite.

opened from time to time
to beguile passerby's
I bet it would go well
with a ballerina figurine.

Paranoia inducing
thuds echo
through the walls
they're right behind
according to the sounds
evidently not
claim my eyes
dam rice paper walls.

It was disturbing
the world is big
the sky looks infinite
the roads are full
the cars are to
this isn't all
this is barely any
I need to hurry home
and lock the door behind me.
