TAKE CARE OF ME
Mel Jan 2017
Ice hard tears, striking her cheek
Sharp with anger, cutting her deep
She approaches him slowly, with grace and heart
Cautious, humble, don’t rip me apart
She soon grows whole in the life he offers her
The anticipation truly causing a pstir
  Begging and pleading,
Inside a silent scream,
Enough cold words, now she has seen,
Don’t unfold my firm warm hand,
My soul is your ocean; my body’s your land
She pleads with him to keep her safe and sane
Isolating herself from reoccurring pain,
He catches her gaze and holds her tight
He then whispers, you will be alright
