The peaches fatten
Just like beau blooming babies
Succulent they swell

Singeing shocks of sun
Efface memory of frost
Sunlight searing roots

Stimulating growth
Sun’s a giver of life, a
Benevolent Lord

He irradiates
A big blossoming bounty
Shared equal and fair

The gift is heat, light
It embraces the whole world
In an instant flash

Absence of decay
Incense of pollen and grass
World goes wild in bloom

Illusion betrays with its edifice:
Forms always change and grow, they shift
In front of the mind’s swivelling, gimlet eye.
Reality is always playing
I guess to illustrate what I’m saying:
You’ll never twice see the same sky

So then, if we agree, it's good
That perception pranks us as it should
And nothing can be sure
We no longer have to live in suspense
Or dwell in ambivalence
Any more

A majestic empress worthy of laurels
Whom is so low to subsume her in quarrels?
A quirky light that guide me through
The pains I feel that my depression grew

The Heart's her realm, its magic she
Commands in rosy revelry
Gone with the faeries in nature's trance
Enamoured of heavenly romance
Megan Sherman May 2017
Mirror soul, when I saw you,
Through my Heart a warm breeze blew,
My love for you, no start, no end,
You are the sublime, cherished friend,
One with whom, I passionately connect,
Share adoration and respect,
Mirror soul, I love you,
For having seen a soul so true.
Megan Sherman Jul 2018
I miss you like the sky misses the sun
When night by stealth descends upon the day
If we are sum then surely we are one
To be divided, source of my dismay
Thine eyes I long to see, to peer in deep
Thy smile that warms my heart, I long for so
For thee I devote psalms and tender weep
As thoughts of you come to mind never go
Megan Sherman Oct 2018
When they went and murdered thee
They only went and murdered me
It took me too long to find out
Spent so long in denial, doubt
I willed thy heart to be free
To traverse the world and seas
Again in rosy revelry
But they murdered you and murdered me
Megan Sherman Feb 2017
Mistress of my passion, by whom I am enamoured
Thou art the golden yoke unto my soul
For thy tender affections I have craved and clamoured
To thee I dedicate this enchanted howl
To bear love aloft, to dedicate thy self
To the duty of Heart's compassion
May make the spirit swell in good health
And compel it to exquisite action
In thy light, which begets a radiance
I feel the guidance of a divinely wrought star
Enamoured of our mutual dalliance
I pledge and worship to thee from afar
    My sweet entreaties I refine
To fathom love and soar divine

The Angel of Peace is here and never left,
A balm to hurting hearts by absence cleft,
A testament to truth that Love outlives,
Conquers even Death, quell not gift who gives,
Angels all at one under the sun,
Their hearts art through which fires run,
Reminding us that evil never wins,
Karma teaches perpetrators of sin,
Lady liberty her torch held high,
Doth enchant and serenade the sky,
I chase the light that follows as they fly,
Devotions to their spark, their humour wry.

Her heart is dominant
She irradiates care and concern
A passion righteous and militant
In plenitude it burns
A believer in community
She plots to draw people together
Everybody’s best interests
Are at the heart of her endeavor
She represents the best qualities
That people are generally given
By compassion, kindness and humility
She is first and foremost driven
When one day she’s cruelly taken
I cry and hang my head
For a moment it feels like hope is gone
And like all that’s good in the world is dead
But love won, it conquers all
With tragedy it multiplies
Our world could not fail to be touched
By a heart so strong, and of that size
She implored we have more in common
Than all that which divides us
It’s a philosophy we ought to keep
At heart, and anchor deep inside us
Now she’s gone the world has been robbed
Of its champion, its truest pal
But wherever community triumphs
There her spirit will dwell
This is in memory of British MP Jo *** who was murdered in June this year.

He scatters seeds in hearts hungry for
end of puppet war, pure hearts rapt in awe
of all joy that he aspires to
In him divinest fires brew

His method, peaceful politic
Doth shame the spiteful spirit traitor
Whose only role is heavens hater
Toodaloo, Satan, see ya later

This man, he never left the earth
Warms hearing hearts the breadth of her girth
Tyrants dictums have no worth
Love will be found even in Love's dearth

Tyrant can make all the coy allusions he want
They are powerless for John shows child purest font
He sublime sings to bright bells of God,
All at one, under the sun, with the Angel squad

Mortality is heeded best,
By those suffice to know,
How frail and fragile time is,
How stealthily she goes,

They count their every blessing,
For knowing what comes in the end,
With words, with wits, with warmth,
They do our sorrows mend,

For knowing how to render,
The moment that's the last,
Singing sublime for Love divine,
Even when it has passed.
Megan Sherman May 2017
Mother Mary,
The wisdom of a pure beating heart,
To our fledgling souls impart,
When I'm moored atop,
Cliffs of life's vicississtudes,
You inspire me,
With beatitudes,
In her the light,
Of love apace,
Saying "child
be at peace.
In your Heart's
For Gods flame make space.
Which warms the Earth,
From soils to space."

Much Magic - strikes a Night time
In sky the cosmic fires brood
Mystic sounds reverb and chime
In stunning interlude
As thunder falls from Heaven
Its sparks adorn our ears
In sky gestate the colours heathen
That quell and smooth our stress and fears
Besides the sea - I wander
And peep in to the night
And set my mind asunder
To dwell in eternal delight
Megan Sherman Nov 2016
Much meaning is a mystery
An enigma unencoded
Meanings weave back through history
More often than not plural, loaded
There are maddest multitudes in words
Far beyond a simplistic meaning
One sole words’ meanings could form a herd
For the multitudes you’re gleaning
Megan Sherman Nov 2016
I drink my coffee
Prepare my paper and pen
Cast my mind, focus

On expressible
Beauty. Where does it come from?
I wonder and think

Inspiration ebbs
Through ventricles of my mind
Wild fire through dendrons

Elephants, angels
Amongst the panoply
Of earnest visions

In streams of dreams muse
Communicates. Fluent in
Creation’s language

Muse plants the candle
Of ferocious divine fire
In my minds and hands

I meditate, brood
Let myself be overwhelmed
By life’s fruits, fullness

Like plucking apples
I stretch to yield the harvest
Of muses’ bounty

Each new thought excites
Like rare exotic candy
Gives a wild sensation

I express my thanks
As consciousness is harnessed
To poetry, I

Wake to muses’ touch
Insatiate, inspired
For augmented song
Megan Sherman Dec 2016
"Music" - is what cannot be taught
A Ribbon on the Breeze
Each note falls in supersession
Like Apples fall from Trees

My sad ears dote on each gay note
Abundantly they please
Melodies majestic
That treat and taunt and tease
Megan Sherman Dec 2016
Minds scintillate like rainbows
Perceiving colour, rioting with song
Around red tracks of thy veins
Blood meanders, around, along
Inside, the most refined of muscles
The ***** visionary
Renders visions of divine precision
O sight, give life to thee
Megan Sherman Aug 2017
My band of angels make me proud -
My harp divine - ferry to zephyr nine -
My self on journey to little luscious cloud -
Who can articulate on insufficient tongues -
The splendour of the moment true -
Must be sung from sonorous lungs -
Because my heart scared, flew -
I hid where passion went to hide -
I wake to watch the world in bloom -
And permit a Peace inside -
Megan Sherman Nov 2016
My element is Fire
Peering in my soul embarks
On a quest to find its passion
An art adorned by sparks
Body licked by Fire’s warmth
Flames cascading dominant
Peering ever deeper in
My thirsty mind spins ruminant
The log seems to be rippling
As if a trunk of fire
I meditate more closely
And the focus takes me higher
Eventually the fire penetrates
The deepest recesses of my mind
It conjures up the Other Realm
Where secret treasures I will find
Megan Sherman May 2023
My Heart begets to thee, devotion
Inside it deep, profound commotion
Consist in Love supreme emotion
Resounds and thrives in perpetual motion
Megan Sherman Feb 2017
My heart hearkens at warm gestures of humanity
That penetrate beneath cynicism
Inspired by Love's magnamanity
I surmount soul's cataclysm
The generosity of one soul giving to another
Without expectation of returns
Is the spirit of a kindred brother
In whom the divine flame burns
Together we transmit blisses and gifts
Known only unto heart
Its truth like balloon lifts
On adventure soul embarked
At warm humanity my heart hearkens
To its truth I, intruiged, listen
Megan Sherman Sep 2020
My Heart knows Love, a heaven
Tis morning of the soul
Ascending to Eternity
The realm that God patrols

I dance upon the stars
That, soft, spell out your name
My Heart knows Love, a heaven
I dwell in eternal flame
Megan Sherman Nov 2016
My heart sighs at the rainbow
The sky’s alight, it sings
A plethora of pigments
An infinity in rings
A halo that makes me meditate
A disc of beauteous joy
An omen of profundity
A pleasure sweet and coy
Megan Sherman Aug 2018
My Heart stood hung - a wretched sight
It hunted cruel - that Knave
Who made of torture his delight
I pray - my soul to save
Megan Sherman Aug 2021
My Heart swells large like Jupiter
In Love, as pure as stars
For Love my soul much prettier
And fine as Cuban cigars
Cosmic light spells love across
The magic and majestic cosmos

Lavishly worlds dance in space
Ten thousand suns blaze on in song
The planets we seek, put up chase
Only to hollow them, on path of wrong
Our eyes attuned to cosmic sight
All space supreme in its rising flight
Megan Sherman Aug 2017
My life is but a thread
In the tapestry of time
colours bleed like sun
Warming hearts sublime
always think of rainbows
always think of daisies
I walk naked to this golden grove
With bells upon my feet

Love on which the spirit roves
Treading earths sweet soils replete
Truths that soar like turtle doves
Rain like snow land at my feet
Megan Sherman Feb 2021
My Life is lived for passion

It yet remains to see

If Love's romantic fusion

Will deliver bliss to me

In Love souls happy to conceive

Of Heart's immortal creed

My Life is defined by belief

Obeying Heart will leave us free
Megan Sherman Dec 2016
My Life's an Exhibition
Stripped bare for all to see
The weight of my contrition
Outweighs my joy and glee

All see my misdemeanours
And call back angrily
But I do not seek attention
It was you who chose seeing me
Megan Sherman Feb 2017
My loved one can I caress your face?
To feel and fathom your tender grace
You are bejewelled cup filled with liquor
That makes me want to drink you quicker

My loved one can I feel you limb by limb?
Perfectly formed like hope or hymn
My appetite for you is insatiate
You deserve to be appreciated

From whence did you, like messenger, come
Making my heart feel at home
You're best comprehended by awe
Your spirit attests to divine law
Megan Sherman Feb 2017
My Love is apoplectic, raging still
For it burns passionate as Supernova
Exquisite emotion overflows and spills
Even after first enchantment is over
The love of you took me to physician
For prescriptions to soothe my malady
Upon my mind, the weight of contrition
I try to summon soothing lullaby
I think to Love may be a curse
To those who grow attached
Instead of reaching Heaven
The needy soul is wretched
In poxy hell, I dwindle, scream
    Disabused of Love's bright dream
Megan Sherman Nov 2017
I am cherub sent to you
To make you smile and warm you through
Cheering up the life of two
Unite by things they love to do
Your lust grew and you knew how to woo
Thrill me with feelings unknown, new
Have me shy and when cry till blue
I'll stop for being near to you
And pine again, simmer and rue
Megan Sherman Feb 2021
My madness is my sense

A prism on the Truth

One apart from Reason

Which deny fine fluent fire of Zeus

Communion with the divine

Liberates me from Reality

Wisdom of Heaven is surely mine

Superior to normality
Megan Sherman Aug 2017
My magic ray of Heaven
For eternity devote
To the plight of glorious light
Which spreads in beams and motes

He sauntered in to vision
An unusual hue
Messages succinct, concision
Was medium of gods word true

He works for shiva, not Abraham
So don't get all confused
It's a pluralist democracy of souls
In heaven, towards which I cruised

He complemented poetry
Which I had, amused, written
He called me literary kitten
Of which he was most smitten!

How could I resist that charm
Tis becoming to a babe
Not all the dark could sully him
Nor ravages of age

Those who will him harm
Will only create their own decay
Watch us fly, in enchanted sky
As we weave and wend in brighter day
Megan Sherman Aug 2017
My mind - moves - to a rhythm -
Drummed up by Angel true -
As sweet harps knell - enchant with purest spell -
I plump my rear - on passions pews -
The music soothe a malady -
Salve to sullied bruise -
Consist within the tender melody -
All which minds amuse -
Megan Sherman Dec 2016
My moods are most confusing
Viewed from the outside
Borne aloft on potent waves
Of Emotion's tides

I struggle against the current
Surrender all control
Drowning in the waters
As the cold enters my soul

My moods must be confusing
And it must be cruel to see
A soul become a captive
To pain and misery
Megan Sherman Nov 2016
My muses are my masters
The only law I recognize
Full-throated voices a divine departure
Leaving one captured, hypnotized,
Enwrapt by fervent, florid music
My muses pour inspiration down from the rift
When ears have heard their magical words
They conjure dreams and start to drift
Megan Sherman Dec 2016
My musings are libations
In rapid fashion - most
Sadly I lament thee
My Heart is but a ghost

It started with Flirtation
Its charm was thrilling me
But you plunged my Heart in to trepidation
Your nonchalance is killing me
Megan Sherman Oct 2017
I stand in relation to the bars
Love raised behind green eyes
Love wanton was my only cause
Not to map divide her skies
But stealthily the prison walls
Block paradise as it flies
Whose tyranny the mind appals
One heart of light surmise
Megan Sherman Aug 2017
You make me weep with inspiration for the future
Kindling most gracious, refined aspects of souls nature
That instinct for a fearless future freed
Unencumbered by tyrants dictums wantonly decreed
Devils decidedly a slumbering breed
Who indulge only in darkling deed
To hurtful aims of lesser, callous soul devote
A sight which Mary saw and smote
Ferrying light to luscious babe
Through whom gods inspiration rage
You can throw dirt at us for an age
But we will wallow sublime, reading off hippie page
Fake heathens think they know the score
But they know not John's wild heart is irresistible to adore
Have they sense they would to John implore
For forgiveness, having ended their puppet wars
Megan Sherman Feb 2021
My spirit fights for freedom
For all humanity
For Earth is tyrant's kingdom
A morally bankrupt fraternity

I've pondered revolution
And will to see it come
Mass power is the solution
That will bring democracy home

Rebellion is felt not taught
'Tis the province of virtue
Disobedience must tyrant fight
To redeem what's right and true

When rebellion comes, the tyrant fears
The downfall of his master plan
A baron's endgame taints our years
Derived from when society began

In possessive pursuit of power
The tyrant jails the democrats
Incarcerated for an immortal hour
By preening, imperial rats

But solidarity transcends jails
Their perimeters fragile, weak
And public enlightenment fast corrects
The tyrants' plethora of mistakes

Socialism is the sublime destiny
Heaven dare not forfend
It oft begins in mutiny
The working class a loyal friend

A hallowed thing, October
Into a new horizon
Its art suffice to save the soul
From devil's liasion
Megan Sherman Dec 2016
Languishing in latitudes
Beyond the known frontiers
Are treasures unfathomable
Cherishable and dear

What mysteries of the world
Hide behind its veneers
If you study, you'll perceive them
Like day, lucid and clear
Megan Sherman Jul 2018
My weakest spot of all
Is the look upon your face
That gazed upon me vulnerable
After fall from grace

Zephyrs stir within my heart
That carry me to heaven
Beyond a hell without no art
A void of brimstone, craven

For once I can be innocently
Enamoured of thy bliss
Tis to be a poet
To see sunshine as thy kiss

Decorate my life dear love
And paint upon its walls
With wanton wild abandon
Whilst I be pilgrim rapt in thrall
Megan Sherman Dec 2016
My words make magic happen
Creating potent spells
That conjure the ineffable
And fathom poxy hells
Syntax refines meaning
Meanings deep as wells
Stacatto sound in symphony
A music that appeals
Megan Sherman Aug 2021
My world grows dark as rebels fall
Victim to the state
Their suffering the mind appal
Of conscience, bear the weight

The pageantry and pomp of Kings
Outshone by rebel's dance
Their hearts are grand, superior things
Enamoured of romance
Megan Sherman May 2017
My World had died - a buried friend,
She now with earthworms lies,
Because of my beleaugered fate,
Which toppled lovelorn skies.
And now her song is over,
And now her colour dead,
Her Beauty rare as clover,
With six leafs, coloured red.
And do I cry, this fate to know,
Upon the head of my World,
It is as if a tragedy, to ****,
Affection in my heart that swirled.
And when her pleasures, over, done
Did I despair to see,
The creatures of her fancy,
Gone, no more revelry.
To friends of World - I'm friends of you,
All stir the sorry heart,
We'll sing the dirge for World aloud,
When for heartbreak she has passed.
Megan Sherman Feb 2017
My world is more than the illusion of my self
The possibilities are manifold
Although it left me in vain and fickle health
I can transcend and walk the path of gold
Those who see it, the grand illusion
Judge me superficially
Enamouring themselves of the same delusion
Taking me cosmetically
Not getting the real soul self beneath
They capture and devour me like foxes
I flutter like a falling leaf
Fitting me in to their labels, boxes
Not caring for my heart's vocation
Nor its passions, or creations
n/a
N/A

Megan Sherman Apr 2017
To the divine spark in you,
I steep my hands and bow,
Blessed fires run through you,
And give you magic glow,
All souls unite in divinity,
Unsullied by the world,
Mercy, pity, peace, a trinity,
In which affection swirled,
The world is one constituency,
Love knows no church or nation,
But Evil in his regency,
Demands that care have ration,
But love wins, it conquers all,
With tyranny it multiples,
Our world cannot fail to be touched,
By hearts so strong and of our size,
Mouths will open, hearts will see,
We will speak, we will be free,
Living one, at unity,
Embed in Earth's community.
