Good luck - and bliss - forever more
To you - I earnest wish
May Life endow you with infinite joy
May we vow devout to never make war
For being blessed by Love's indelible ray
Perhaps - you'd care - to adorn my arm
As we saunter away
Enamoured of thy Beauty - charm
Lay - sweet companion - lay

Michael's Music:
Megan Sherman May 2017
Protector puts my Heart in good health,
Sweet guardian of the celestial South,
His art adorned by bright blue sparks,
Which spells God's name across the stars,
Blessing with divinest light,
In which our souls ascend, take flight,
Michael's music is for the children,
Born in God's celestial cauldron.

Paranoia
Megan Sherman Jun 2018
Who’s there? Who’s there upon my stair?
The stench of fear is in the air
My heart wilts, with thy glide
That eerie repose in thy stride
Past the Rose’s revelry
Under Bird’s sweet artistry
With scythe and sceptre at his side
That eerie repose in his stride
Through the door, in the house
A creak, a stir, I start to rouse
Affront by ghastly hooded shadow
For which great men are weeping widow
These fears must be confusing
Viewed from the outside
Borne aloft on potent waves
Of emotions tides
I struggle against delusions
Surrender all control
Drowning in the waters
As the cold enters my soul
My moods must be confusing
And it must be cruel to see
A soul become a captive
To pain and misery

One With The Light
Megan Sherman Apr 2017
Amidst an aura, divinest vision
Rendered with sublime precision,
Invites me to peer, enchanting sight,
Consists in his immortal glow an eternal delight,
Heart fluttering in time with mine,
Communicating in universal rhyme,
A magnificent array of colour,
Ripples through his enveloping aura,
Imbued with light that permeates all time.

The sublime hippie makes the heart gestate,
Makes my spirit feel elate,
I want my heart to waltz with his,
In to kingdom of Passion's bliss,
Upon the shores we'd frolic, play,
Soothing, quelling fear, dismay,
With him I am engorged on bliss,
Touched by the light of luck's kiss,
All throughout the day.

O Angel, Angel, they doubt thy truth,
A kind of beauty rare, forsooth,
But rainbows shine in spite of faith,
Suns blaze in spite of eyes embrace,
The world is good (and good is true),
And more good for the life of you,
You are a beacon of hope and joy,
Could inspire the rise and fall of troy,
With heaven's light imbued.

Intelligence Incarnate

The shuttle going in to space
Is intelligence incarnate
The apotheosis of the human race
A quest for knowledge insatiate

Was placed on the Moon by thought
An answer generates more questions

The truest dream which came to me
Came violent and supreme
A lucid dream upon a beam
One without a seam

Drenched in golden aura
A goddess came to play
Dancing wild, by this meek child
Before the rays of day

Before I could embrace her
She winked and disappeared
The elephantine goddess
For whom I had revered

Of her I am enamoured
Of her I've grown quite fond
The fire in my art she is
Stoking divinest bond

The leaves begun to blanket ground
As Summer yields to Fall
Earth burnished orange all around
A searing sight to feast the soul
Betwixt the trees with low fruits ripe
Phantom looms, divine apparition
Its spirit blooms, snares with a pipe
O blooming flower of my vision
To and fro the spirit glides
Haunting, enchanting night
Two lights collide, and come inside
Orbiting in delight
My revenge on arrogant fool, magic song
That stands above the fool's average throng

The time is now to listen
To the word of ancient gods
Midst broken, battered souls goes the light
Between them it patiently plods
Imploring them with light of truth
Which dwells in interstices
The realisation will quell and soothe
The scars of spirit's vices
Hand in hand goes God and Love
Touching with its fire
That strikes like bolt from above
Infusing with desire
Striving towards the truth we go
    Dreaming, rocking to and fro

In your essence I want to wallow
It'd be a wonderful world to behold
The logic of your truth I want to follow

The Rebel as an Artist
Isn't oft appreciated
But in the labour of her creation
Consists marvel created
By pained triangulations
Of the form of image
The artist is a sorceress and magician
For she makes real a mirage
She paints so exquisite it could move stone hearts
To melt, to be moved to tears
In her art, flies magic darts
And immortal grace appears
The rebel as an artist
Swings the hearts keys
She has the knack to wield a work
That can treat and taunt and tease

The sky bursts in to catherine wheels of molten colour;
The moon ascends to her celestial throne;
And stars sprinkled like diamonds on nature's diadem
As the city slept, oblivious of splendour.

I'd love the stars to saunter near
And show us how they shine
Expanding and cascading bright
In shower of sparks divine
In flux of sultry Supernovas

Crackling fearsome, majestically
Like Chinese fireworks
If they'd come a little nearer
I'd behold them awed by splendour
Probably with a little tear
For their being so cosmically rendered

Slander me thus: that I know not love,
A truth wherein I am ignorant,
As if I chase a paradise, elusive, above,
My knowledge of her paltry, scant.
That I have too often been enamoured of superfluous passion,
Above deepest desire, is a view I can support,
But I too am capable of Heart's exquisite action,
I call that mutual rapport,
Which is a truth to which I am enamoured, devote,
Thy accusations do not sully my bliss,
Why my passion you chose to smote?
But I still know the light of luck's kiss.
    My sweet entreaties? Still thine.
Though you're wrong; in Love I soar divine.

And banish you from dream
The Truth strikes ceremonious

Truth is symbolic of the quest
To honour what is real
In her name the Drs assemble
Defend her and appeal

But beware for sham chicanery
Can masquerade as truth

And put my pain to passed
But still the anguish of my distress
Was elongated for being outcast
For in Love I have no dignity
And in Love I have no control
Just know the words that slighted you
Came from insecure and troubled soul
Confined to affliction of self-inflicted doom
I have no option but to beg in prayer
Weaving at my spirit's loom
To patch up, fix, repair
Methinks it's time I laid this to rest

River's Play
Megan Sherman Apr 2017
One afternoon we went out to the river banks,
Adorned with paper and pen beside our flanks,
And we sat and wrote a river song,
That rung around the Earth, up and along
And opened our minds to shimmering sound,
Of tides' caress, which stroke parched ground,
We all dropped sticks in to the stream,
Who'd come first: we'd bet and dream.

Though I am from Nature alienated,
In River's play my Heart gestated,
Power suffice to create electricity,
But peace enough to find serendipity,
The River with Earth's light imbued,
Nurtures our soils and grows our food,
Without her we would be bereft,
Of life, of love, with nothing left.

If any magic could fathom that divine spark
That emanate from thine soul from which I am cleft with sadness
The world itself a bastion of beauties
Of which I am bereft by solitary madness

But music, tender words thou hast spoken, makes
The power of my soul fortified
The irrepressible light you share it makes
My beleaguered mortal life fortified

Love and being must be one
For only in unity under the sun
Can we ground our dreams

Through which the cosmic fires run
Giving colour to pallor wan
Of the meditator who thinks in streams

Seized the thunderbolt and wield Zeus' fire,
Did the heroine who, dreamt, aspired,
And with it, she, like leopard, leapt and run,
In to horizons, and the setting sun,
Such zeal and zest seem fabled, but were true,
Though be it hard for mortal minds construe,
Her blood people's red not Prussian blue.

The titan of them all beget the flame,
From whence the passion bled, devotion came,
Yet fated to be condemned by old Zeus,
For giving sight of his gold fire to us,
Legendary yet you live to be,
You lived, felt love, were the highest tree,
Felled by cosmic judge, high, haughty.
