The Lore Of The Land
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
On wayward route the magic word
Goes to ears that strive to have heard
The gorgeous and the seismic truth
That stokes a revelation, forsooth
That awakens sleeping herd

This is the lore. It is an insight
On which your minds can be free, take flight
And rove forever in delight
For being once again of good sight

Consists in it a magic white
That takes soul soaring to ascendant height
The songs of the flowering universe
Will be sung in joyful, sublime verse
Till the world is pure and right

Song Of Innocence
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Singing down the valleys, meadows
Casting smudgy, dappled shadows
Go the children, skipping, swinging
Their gleesome joy through daylight ringing
In nature's ***** their rustic beauty shows

The children wake. They wake to love
And on that thought their sweet minds rove
The forest is their treasure trove
An enchanted and protected grove

For harmony the children strove
And take guidance from above
They will not be defeated, slain
So hear my ludic, joyful refrain
And leave so we can be left to love

Song For The Child
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
When life is strife and life is hard
The elephantine child is cradled by the bard
And swung with glee from side to side
So passion and joy in his heart reside

Together they're forever friends
And for sins of earth do make amends
Traversing the fertile planes of world
They awaken souls to reprieve unfurled

A Dream On A Beam
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
A dream on a beam
Swimmed in to view
One without a seam
On warm breeze blew

A goddess pure
In aura resplendent
Sweet, demure
Witt light replete, transcendent

A blessing from
The upper world
To show me path
Out of here unfurled

The Book Of Eternal Delight
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
This is the clarion call to wake
And set right the path of world's mistakes
Transcend the bars behind our eyes
That teach us to alienate, despise
In the truth of Love our spirit quakes

The true belief consists in care
Not some lofty, haughty air
That induces children to despair
And beckons them to evil lair

I can see the darkness in your stare
And the anthem of evil in your blare
But think not that you'll win the fight
For we'll throw the book of eternal delight
You couldn't dream of what's in there

Praise Be Ganesha
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
He is able, what's his is ours
A knowledge that begs to be devoured
An enchanting and a stunning child
Who gives the spark to the shy and mild
And wakes them to go wild

He is the babe. With the magic pen
Who makes me start the world again
He is the sublime, cherished friend
My love for him, no start, no end

A gift that the divine zephyr send
That sends me crazy, round the bend
But his light doth sooth my sullied mind
With Love, activity refined
Towards brighter day we wend

Empathy For The Angel
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
On fluent wings as soft as smudges
The flying spirit diligently gauges
What is needed underneath
By peoples on the hills and heaths
O'er them she dutifully watches

She is the world. It's truest hope
Without her light I couldn't cope
She is more omnipotent than the pope
I'm tied to her with golden rope

I want to fly with her in cape
And feed her with a hundred grapes
Her light will scare a thousand kings
As her divinest music sings
O'er the sweet and sinuous moors

In The Dreaming
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Across the fertile, blossoming planes
Sings music in enchanted refrains
Coming from the cosmos above
Beau as a turtle dove
Whose beauty by god ordained

The dreams our ours. They wont be killed
Despite the Devils who have shilled
To torture us with evil skilled
But our reprieve the bards have willed

The soils of magic we have tilled
To get to the bottom of the truth, it chilled
But truth is ours, we bear it high
And swing the torch around the sky
And look at us, we're thrilled

Walk Of Life
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
We walk the walk with wanton stride
And to the wayward path abide
Traversing the enchanted, magic planes
Hearing nature's sweet refrains
As in to her ***** we glide

This is the walk. See how we go
Dreaming, rocking to and fro
Taking us, both high and low
To Love, which raptures us in throe

Through us a magic breeze doth blow
And to ourselves the wisdom show
The walk of life is for the children
Who were born in God's celestrial cauldron
And who the goodness know

Magic Will Help Us
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Some use it for evil's gratification
But some use it to heal
Warming with the magic sensation
To the spirits we appeal

And thou wake up in the den
Just summon the force of thy inherent magic
And start thy self again

Dance Of Truth
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
I swing the torch from side to side
The visionary light by which I abide
Basks me in resplendent glow
As I go dreaming, rocking to and fro
Embarked on magic ride

This is the dance. It tells a truth
A kind of vision rare, forsooth
I canter round soul's shire on enchanted hoof
A siren of iridescent youth

The knowledge of my path does sooth
And to my sullied brain it does amuse
In it's form I have faith and trust
Stoking, kindling my spiritual lust
To disabuse the ruse

The Babbling Brook
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Alack! The time is running thin
To spread the word to kith and kin
That evil ruse has wooed the land
Despite us waving benevolent wand
The evil chants and makes its din

We will surmount this evil yoke
That doth the sweet heathen voice choke
And dwell once more in dreams bespoke
For being rapt by truth I shook

I fell head first in to revelation's book
And didn't like to have partook
But to truth I must be faithful, devout
And malevolent schemes I must query, doubt
And babble their story like a brook

Dreams Of Freedom
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Dreams of freedom are flowering
As flimsy illusion withers, pales
Through medium of the bardic tongue the truth doth sing
And in to peripheries of consciousness sails

The merchants of demise are quivering
To hear the lion's stentorian roar
Their callous bodies quivering
They have no time left anymore

Towards new day we meandering go
Borne aloft on divine zephyr
Dreaming, rocking to and fro
Effusing other worldly ether

Song For My Father
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Albion, thou art my guide
To thy truest words I do abide

Albion, thou art a friend
My care for you has no start or end

Albion, your daughters sweet
Make my life with love replete

Albion, I see thy anguish
And in your sorrow I also languish

Albion, we will transcend
This pain, and make thy spirit mend

Albion, the peoples song
Will be sung, above the evil throng

Albion, this incantation
Is an immaculate creation

Albion, let me stand
On thy shoulders, to shout psalms to the land

The Torch Of Truth
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
A burnished flame of divine shine
Doth with my vision intertwine
Flickering and kindling
With the naked truth enchanting
A beatitude of exalted grace
Kisses the curves of my hollowed face
I become borne aloft on divine zephyr
Swept in to otherworldly ether
Where transcendent visions are apace

A knowledge I do not want to be mine
Doth nevertheless in my mind shine
The truth boils deep in convolution
It could inspire a revolution
Overwhelmed by a divine vision
Of inexplicable precision
Revealing the cynical plans
That mar the monstrous mind of man
Until the truth collision

Forms of evil riddle me
They want to fool and fiddle me
But I have seen it clear as day
And to Albion shout my fears, dismay
You cannot suppress a lion's heart
Or prise the people apart
And in our realms no longer stay
So go upon your devillish way
And make haste to depart

Song Of Sedition
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
With magick wiles the heathen girls
Doth the path of justice unfurl
Brandishing their torch of truth
To **** the evil spirits, forsooth
To redeem a stolen, pillaged pearl

All eyes turn round, to see the loves
And upon the naked truth mind roves
Our spirits are our treasure troves
Trodden down by bad man's hoofs

Our torch of truth their evil proves
With hearts of stone that can't be moved
We dance with torch and ward them off
On divine zephyr borne aloft
To go to adoring heavenly cove

A Promethean Odyssey
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
From whom did I dare seize the fire
Which casts light on truths to be sung to lyres
The revelations are suffice to inspire
Paeans to be sung around the pyres
There was thunder in my brain
When truth cantered inwards like a train
Albion pointing to the warriors slain
And to his wound, his immortal pain
From the torch the truth doth bright exude
A light that is a sort of useful food
That renders visions in which sense brews
That with divinest meaning woos
Promethea a warrior magician
I am also the strangest of physicians
Bearing heavy the weight of contrition
When faced with the plans of the worlds morticians
I traverse my path to get my heroine
On this troubled, but essential quest I begin
There is nothing that we can win
But we can redeem our conscience of the devil's sin
But Devils' sham religiosity will not survive the ravage of time
Earth's rustic children are the truly sublime
To dare to strike them down in their prime
Is the most heinous of mortal crimes
O, my god, I bear to you
The angel, the angel, spirit true
Through my heart a warm breeze blew
For having seen a soul so true
Now you can ascend the stair
And find your way to perfect care
In the castles of the air
And find peace in angels luscious blare

The Jack Of Diamonds
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
I sing for the Jack of Diamonds
The iridescent, seamless jewel
Flaunting my poetic garland
Seducing with its haul
The Jack is the rumbustious renegade
Who goes wayward, errant, coy
To Jack I dedicate this enchanted serenade
The bardic arsenal I employ
To capture the diamond for my diadem
And flaunt it to the world
We'll waltz together in freedom
Towards the future hurled
The diamond is a dilettante
Dedicated to bliss
A most passionate militant

Ballad For The Babes
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Atop the tor with ancient horn
Blows bardic spirit newly born
With magic emblazoned on their tongue
A descant begging to be sung
Through the saccharine morn

This is the song. The babes rejoice
To hear the magical ludic voice
They sway, and clap, and swing their heads
As bard goes round them with gentle treads

The music paints their passion red
Alight! For cosmic sense is said
The flame of love be theirs to behold
A treasure that can't be bartered, sold
That brings life back to the dead

Daughters Of Albion
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Daughters of Albion, thy beauty and intelligence is bespoke
But your spirits are encumbered by cynical agendas, by oppressions' yoke
I await the awakening of the revolutionary heroines within
Who cast off the stigma and shame of the doctrine of sin
Against the rubric that sullies and enervates thy strength
I verse and converse at tedious length
Inciting thee to free love, to the wayward path of libertines
I'd love to see thee dwell freely in beautiful, transcendent scenes
Thou art the flux of sultry stunning supernovas
Only faintly seen and understood by men
Peering like voyeurs down elaborate telescopes
Which, for having filtered you, diminishes thy beauty by factor of ten
Your divinely wrought stars beget a radiance
That offers guidance to the straggling soul
I'd love to be enamoured of you in dalliance
The bars between us the mind appalls
Arise ye makers of rebellion and revolution
Commit thy self to the creation of freedom
And live in eternal celebration
Admitted in to passion's kingdom
Together the daughters of Albion shall waltz
Out the spirit's cage
Going traversing through the wilds again
With inspiration for them I rage

The Jungle Of ID
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
The ego is tenacious
It dominates the mind
But its "truth" is really mendacious
And leaves the spirit blind
The jungle of ID is a danger
To the fruition of unencumbered mind
Yet the conscious, truthful ranger
Can an escape find
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
A dream goes drifting like a cloud
Across a sky of molten colour
Enveloped in divinest shroud
Gestating for infinite hours
Until harnessed to consciousness
Yielded to individual mind
Brought in to focus by inquisition
Some dreams are mean, some are kind
The individual and collective psyche
Wrestle for dominance
But they can be harnessed to harmony
And brought in to concordance
It was known to Jung that thoughts are sung
By more than one sole spirit
Symbols and ideas magically wrung
It enlightens one to be near it
It's just that one must be aware
That thoughts transcend one mind
If you try to perceive the ether there
Untold treasures you will find

Towards The Best Tomorrow
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Towards the best tomorrow
We struggle, but not in vain
Transcending pain and sorrow
We smooth balm on hearts cleft in twain
Towards a path unchartered
Towards a better way
On a mystery quest we have started
But truths will come clear as day
Over dales of desparation
And through vales of vagaries
We search the sweet sensation
And bow to Love on devotional knees
I search for my companion
To go with me upon my quest
But I can always go without them
I'll still strive towards the tomorrow best

Histories like blossom unravel
The mystery manifests
In its truth we marvel
Its wisdom we digest
Traversing our cosmic destiny
With minds cast up to sun
Through us go thoughts and magic
The cosmic fires run
Atop the tor of passion
We blow in to Love's horn
Devoid of pain and misery
Of suffering relieved and shorn
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
The voice will not be vanquished
The flame will not be killed
The spark never relinquishes
Despite the Devils who have shilled
Wielding their lacklustre lassoo
To strangulate the Angels
With their pretentious plans I am through
I stick my fingers up to hell
They could only dream
Of making the Angel's sound
Which comes in lucid dream upon a beam
In its splendour we were drowned
Till one day you decided
That we deserved the music no more
But your vanity will be derided
By the public, enlightened more than you for sure
You think you're so magnificent
And magical, divine
But your hearts don't beat, you have no soul
Your spirit has no shine
Like I've said before you've shilled
To a devil sent to spread
Sedition against our true heart's bliss
So I say off with the King's haughty head

Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Once you were an unborn, unformed dream
A spirit drifting down cosmic stream
Then you were incepted in the world, babe supreme
A treasure, whole, without a seam

All hearts in unison rejoice at the babe
Who with their gleesome joy doth amaze
Setting cynical, jaded souls ablaze
Enveloped deep in loves warm haze

Be to the lust of life a wife
And then you'll transcend toil and strife

Ballad Of The Roses
Megan Sherman Mar 2017
Upon this wizened, ancient lyre
I'll sing the ballad of the Roses, till I tire
Each one of them a blessing true
Working diligently for the life of every one of you
A true Rose is a beating heart
In which lust for justice bubbles, brews

In Parliament, they call them Labour
But a Rose is anybody whose heart harbours
A love of life and all it's creatures
Considering the workers to be teachers
Imparting the wisdom of their experience
Marx, the most exquisite of their preachers

His words shine bright and cast a light
Upon the path of destiny, he predicts workers delight
But not before the struggle, toil
The quest for righteousness embroils
All human hearts in earnest endeavour
Across the worlds sands and soils

O rustic Roses, I worship and adore you
If you have time, allow me to implore you
To see yourselves the way I see
Creatures of brilliance and majesty
Who devote themselves to the truest fight
For workers wage and workers right
Long may your light shine at me

To bear love aloft, to dedicate thy self
To the duty of Heart's compassion
May make the spirit swell in good health
And compel it to exquisite action
In thy light, which begets a radiance
I feel the guidance of a divinely wrought star
Enamoured of our mutual dalliance
I pledge and worship to thee from afar
    My sweet entreaties I refine
To fathom love and soar divine
