In New Baghdad the empire's King
A stately edifice decree
Make civilisation ransacked thing
Riches rule dominion, no longer free
No flower dome like Fuller sketched
But concrete box for captive souls
Lost dream of heaven, fierce beauty etched
Times tyranny hath mind appalled
Sea neath stolen sun for which Coleridge wept
Jilted, jaded sky beat by flame that restore soul
Will back to glorious sheen be painted, swept
For life had been bought and bartered, to bosses sold

The flora couldn't grow uptight
Rains rusted the bars, didn't feed
The captive bloom bereft of light
Whose commute to mind tyrants did not decree
But astute hearts attuned to joy
And doth arsenal of Heart employ
Will seek logic of Love not to love logic
See instead intuitions awesome magic
Instructs not by diktat, edict but stokes doubt
In all we don't examine whilst devout

Natures truth defy skeptics scalpel
Underwritten by rhythms wide, galactic
When dissected her truth does fast unravel
Beauty subsumed to reasons tactics
If we let her in her awesome dress
Dazzle us her splendour teasing hearts
Away from hell hatred imparts
In to enchanted climes where epics start
All manacles will yield to strength
And sisters rove free at wanton length

In new Baghdad, the last King gone
But barons maraud with freedoms key
Whilst soldiers dumped on streets, help gone
And go to ISIS, so pledge "we"
How ever did this problem rise
Where people become pawns in the game
Which topples a collective sky
In which the future shines happily aflame
So alike, fake philosopher kings
They lied, pretended to be enemies
But both Blair and big brother have guerrillas as things
When we are all like worker bees!

The honey ours, not theirs to taste
Share with bears, they are our friends
Friendship must be nurtured, chased
Say sorry often and make amends
For tyrant has us thinking of
Our differences and faulty traits
When passions we share and interests hath
Solitary the soul who hates
Link arms, uprise against devils lies
Suppress hell with angels reprise

I wield a magic hardly felt
By Heads too cynical to see
My soul's flight - its dappled light
And stunning revelry

Insatiate of life - am I
And drunkard of the fire
Raging through the veins of creatures
Till they die - expire

When wizards who are self-elect
As opposed to those who learn
Only yield to magic flame
To maul - maim - burn

I haughty cackle shriek and laugh
For their ignorance
At my enchanted trance
Most illustrious dance

Resentment is a malady
That ails a fledgling soul
'Tis dirge and not a melody
Hath righteous mind appalled

The ones who teach the hating creed
Are ones who often sneer and blame
To ones who were born with only Love
In Hearts that now bear shame

But they will triumph over hate
And romp to freedom true
With sweet seismic song inside
With Love's light imbued

A tyrant's sham, illusion most uncouth
Betrays the people of Beauty, rare forsooth
People's wisdom doubted of its truth
When they the gift of Heaven duly hath
Forever incurring petty tyrant's wrath
The mannacles descend, and maim the mind
By devils with pretence they're so refined
They lead the lovers, whilst their own hearts blind
Freebirds sense direction of the wind
Sweet soar! The tyrants languish, left behind.

From immemorial time their lies assailed
Lady freedom, from whence the war cry wailed
See the lawmakers bring justice to her knees
Captive on their island on jaded seas
Too callous and remote to take her pleas
To breathe free air, stunning by degrees
But people will her return, to their shores
Her heart so irresistable to adore
Her triumph sweet foretold in ancient lore
Lo! The victory, the end of war.

In human form, the heart divine
Pity, peace, compassion surge
In temple through whence Gods love rage
How ever are such virtues mine?
Lo! The innate blessed creed
Of Love, beknown to souls hath sought
For more than what resentment taught
For no good comes of bitter deed
Make reason: Love hearts rhyme

A lifetime passes blessed by joy
Unencumbered by the blight
Of darkling days bereft of light
Love! The gift bequeathed by troy
Conquered all like Shakespeare said
In words that glisten, wink like stars
Beget from tender, sonorous bars
Suffice to stir and raise the dead
No quibbles, quarrels with love supreme
My rainbow shine beget from dream

All souls enamoured of the light
Cast sweet ray upon the truth
Teaching fledgling mind to flight
By inspiring Love we hath
Mantras guide by peaceful hearts
Sends truth fly like magic dart
Love sets hearts ablaze, aflame
Vanquishing all fear, despair
Beings of light we art the same
In us the light of love appear
One by one the babes rejoice
Sway, clap, sing to bardic voice
