A Rainbow manifest in Dream -
Majestic - magic be -
But that Rainbow's colour -
Gone - no more revelry -

If I had but chased the end -
If I had but a little more Loved her hues -
Perhaps enchantment would be my friend -
Lift from cosmic blues -

My fate to pass the Gold -
At resplendent destination -
To her Beauty once again behold -
Is now infatuation -

An affinity to complicity -
A stain and soil beget -
Silence upon inflictions -
Sullies spirit -
Complacency's conurbation -
Silence considered virtue - asset
But care ought to be given with no ration -

"Tis gorgeous to behold a sky

This Life is hardly over -
A stature blossoms tall -
Elusive - as a mystery -
But material - as wall -
Life riddles - and it riffs -
Theology - we guess -
And by a beckon finally -
Wisdom - truly show -
To imagine - it baffles sagest monks -
To yield it - we to Valhalla go -
Disdain of - thoughtful public -
To loss of babes - our woe -
Devotion tumbles - picks herself up -
Swoons - should any care -
Yielding truth's blossom -
Sings her exquisite blare -
And implores a compass - which way?
Mimes answer - to the crowd -
Fierce praises rumble - roll -
Yet anodyne - can't sully -
Pain - that mind appal -

The Body asks gratification - when -
A pall - envelops soul -
A prayer asking to start again -
That praises cherubim in thrall -

A sleep - no one wants -
A memory of nightmare - suffocate -
Screaming - incessant - haunts -
The girl he willed - to hate -

I picked - an arsenal -
To deliver - blow -
Till friendly - intervention -
Banishes - weary woe -

One later day - I hear -
It call out once again -
Stokes more than little tear -
But I fight it with my pen -

In all truth - I am star -
Not a consumable item -
Think in fathoms - imagine far -
A bloom atop a stem -

Hearts desires - precious -
Should be from hex protect -
By love precocious -
To her I'm genuflect -

A Kiss - to communicate my Love -
Its price - not a thing -
A tongue - to make him rave -
A passion - suffice to sing -

To chance upon his heart - would please -
Becoming is that Day -
