I have ever seen.

Low,
Red and purple mix together,
With oranges, blues, and peaches overhead
Pale and rose pink finish off the top,
While a blanket of blue provides the backdrop.

The white snow is turning blue,
Dark to match the coming night.

It settles on my shoulders,
A heavy cloak.

A low sigh, then
A quiet acceptance of this burden again.
