Love is not colorful.
Love is black and white.
My tears are blue,
the blood I bleed is red,
my bruises purple,
my envy green.
All these feelings
are technicolor,
demanded to be seen;
felt.
Love sends your mind into a
black out.
Love is just passion fading from
white to grey.
Love is just a blank page;
the light from heaven.
Living is colorful.
Loving is death.

i don’t want to love you
anymore
i’d rather love books
and words
and the sea
when it rages
i’d rather love
adventure and
late nights
filled with smiles

i don’t want to hide
anymore
i’d rather fly
to a far away mountain
and scream
at the top of
a blue peak
i’d rather explode
with virtue
like a light—
a star
who has met
it’s end

i don’t want to love you
anymore
i don’t want
the sun to fall
i don’t want
my coffee to go cold
or my cigarettes
to wage war
on my lungs
but there’s little to do
when the universe
twists
in it’s inevitable ways

Caffeine

You are tea,
serene in your surroundings.

                                                                                                           I am coffee,
                                                                                 attention always bounding.

Your colour a milkish pale,
creamy optimism.

                                                                                                 I am taken black,
                                                                                                     bitter cynicism.

Two sugars,
to match your disposition.

                                                                                                         None for me,
                                                                          I'll maintain my grim affliction.

                                               We differ so much,
                                                     it's obscene.

                                                   But in the end
                                               we're both caffeine.
