a calm twilight
caresses the shores of the gently flowing stream
golden reeds whisper their evening song
so peacefully

a single call of a bird brings no distortion
it’s a lullaby for the sun going under
flowers fold their leaves as in prayer
waiting for the night to cover them up

for liberation

doing the best
to avoid the pain of birth

and not simply the stones
but rather it’s life

still standing throughout ages
as if it acknowledges:
this is the right place

I tear it down
brick by brick

is digested
very slowly

the sun

al-light
will explain the dark
