I want to scream until I reach absolute silence
I want to ruin everything with such violence
I want to cut these locks
I want to shed this skin
I want to bleed cold blood,
want to breathe destruction in.

I want my cynicism to rot
I want to be granted rebirth.
I want to see the sun, for once
I want to see my worth.

I want to feel alive
Want to feel reality.

I'm ready to be human
I've accepted mortality.

Wandering
Fall from the sky
Stop yourself
Before you ask why
Lose yourself
In the sparkle
Of the homeless mans eyes
In his hut by the sea
He, too, gets by
Maybe more than you and me
Free from the haunts and ghosts
Of things we need not
But need so
Kissed by the stars
Showered by the moon
That rolls over the dry expanse of land
To be at home
Singing sweetly in the ears of this man
For while fast asleep
In dreamlike slumber
The tides grow strong
Full of wonder
Thats clear only to those
Who can make their home
Anywhere
Slowly dying,
stories of her past
hide in the wrinkles of her skin.
stories,
told and not told,
Brought to the brim of light blue eyes;
searching,
talking to her mother
who died before the Berlin Wall.
"The black birds are coming."
But not soon enough.
Shaking suffering,
not able to speak.
Skin like paper,
but having to be tough.
Surviving five wars,
and numerous gas prices,
and elections of presidents.
And now as the clock ticks
she sleeps.
And slips slowly away
into what I believe is Heaven.

Redshift
the first night of summer
and i am
trying to figure out
how to make my brain stop working
how to stop thinking
about all the things that have happened to me
that i can't control
i finally understand
people who get ****-faced
to feel better
if i didn't know any better i'd blow my brains out.
This house isnt warm
And the chimney that once poured light and steam is tired and overdrawn
People come and go
Leaving articles of clothes
In every room
no privacy left for the freedom of your thoughts
To roam
Only scars overgrown
Then torn open
Over and over
You sit in the window dull and lifeless
You bang and smash against the glass
But it doesnt seem like its
Going to give
The people walk through
And you are starved
One throws you some old bread
And you devour it before you can think
And then you are theres to keep
For that night
Because going hungry for so long
Made you forget whats good for you
And this cold house has robbed of you
The steam that powers
The engine of your mind
Just always remember
When your most hungry
Usually what you really need
Is a cool glass of water
Playing with a few metaphors just an experiment
What has happened
to me?
I was golden
now I'm rust,
full of mistrust
ice to the touch
my viens are
closing up
clogged with cowardice
talentless
