The warmth of the hearth,
Invites you to come out of your shell.

Waves sweep over skin tone grains.
Rolled in the current of sweet sweat,
Green seaweed sheets tangle our legs.

White shows,
as shy pearls are exposed.
You wear them the best between coal ribbon.
Caps of a dress
drowning blue bones,
Falls to the shore.

Embrace in her nourishment.
Drag your nails across the valley of pale dirt.
Plant a trail of pink hearts close to hers.
Stain her soil with your blood,
Under the rain of gold.

Lets create colors in oil
On these blank canvas bodies
of earth.

First warm day in months,
raking uncovered flowers.
Parks fill with laughter.
your lips touch mine, a simple revelation
that begins a revolution
walls crumble
guards stumble
as you fumble for the key
you open me and see
that I am no longer who I used to be

you found the door
that leads straight to my core
and because of you I can love like never before

so now that I've moved on from all that has been
I plead to you, baby, kiss me again
your eyes search me
looking for scars
that might tell where I’ve been
my body is clean

your words search me
inquiring about my past
and waiting expectantly
my response is brief

your lips search me
feeling for impressions
left by former lovers
I’ve been smoothed over

so I write this poem
to urge you to keep searching
for you are close
and will find me soon
Words aren't enough
I'm silently drawn
by your invisible touch
as if your soul has wings
and it could reach me
fly to me, from distances
near and far. You are,
a gently blowing breeze.
Oh how you captivate me
fascinate me, satisfy my
never ending curiosities.
An unsuspecting suitor
Come to me, wild as nights
fierce melting sky
Melt with me, into the sand
into the darkness
Laugh with me, oh laugh
till the moon says goodnight
Hold me, oh hold me tight
Kiss away those sorrows,
as the sun begins to rise
I saw infinity when I
looked into those eyes.
I  swear I saw life itself form,
when those lips parted with a smile
Come with me love, won't you just stay a while?

I doubt I will ever forget
The note you left me
On the day you walked out that door
I'm going to find a new world under the ocean
Somebody once told me there are ghost towns there
Do not mourn my departure, for I am happy now

With that, you married yourself to the Thames
Leaving me with a hole in my heart
For all of eternity
