I'll Never

I'll never understand why I keep doing this.
I'll never see you in your dress for that wedding you're going to.
And a lot of other stuff I'll never see
Just because we can never be.

But what you will never see
Is how hollow I'm gonna be
When you're no longer around with me.

With each tear that falls down your cheek, my heart breaks a little.
And as I stand watch a thousand miles across this lake that is compiled of the sorrows of those who condemn you, those who confine you to the smallest of boats, leaving you without a paddle, small frustration inside my soul is keeping quite.

Suppressing the raging fire that may or may not be blazing over the feelings inside my chest that act as an answer to the quiet torture that you suffer.

You fight your fires with deep breaths and words of wisdom but you and I both know that to those outsiders, your breath has been wasted.

Ignorance has presented itself to you as a new brand of earmuffs; tougher than a brick wall and more smothering than motherly love.

When you cry I often imagine what it would be like to drown in the flood of your frustrations and though you are miles away I can still feel it, leaving me soaked to the bone.

None of this is any of my business; it is not my place to be the lifeguard of that lake.
The saltiness of the water stings when it touches my soul giving off this feeling of urgency to throw you a life raft and pull you to my side.

I know that you are a good swimmer, but, maybe I will be your life guard anyway.

In my world there's fun and adventure;
In your world I sit alone.
In my world we're always together;
In your world my heart's a stone.

Our worlds are worlds away--
If you can forgive the pun.
I can only live in one of them:
Try and guess which one.
Let us run into the forest
Let us just get lost for a while
Let us play with the mind of a poet
So pure, adventurous and wild

Let us watch the flowers grow
As they twirl around the trees
Let us bathe in the warm sunlight
And just listen to the sweet humming of the bees

Let me take you away, baby
To a very secret place
I promise it won't last forever
I would just like to use a day

- To show you something better

Let us fall into the flowerbed
In the bright open meadow
Right besides where the stream floats

A place;
Where I have seen people come to fall in love
And then watched new lovers leave
It is an amazing sight, like you won't even believe

I will look after you here
When the sky starts to darken
And the evening wind starts to flare
Later I will show you a love of mine

Which ignited my soul and left some scars
Only because all this beauty, usually happens
In the learning process of;

*The art of watching stars

You
I have typed 934 words
Such a large number
But so small compared
to the amount of people
in the world, but only
you are on my mind.

i want you to imagine standing in the middle of an already collapsing house, and having everything suddenly flip upside down; or after years of homelessness, picture yourself being told you had somewhere you could stay for good, only to wake up just before being handed the keys. these are some of dangers of making places out of  people.

1. don't ever turn a human being into a home unless you are prepared to be evicted without warning.
2. when you start to notice their arms taking the shape of a roof over your head, you have two choices: run, or wait for it to cave.
3. if they ask you to stay and burn with them, you have the right to say no.
4. it is not your responsibility to save anyone, and it is not your fault when you can't.
5. salvaging the photos from a house fire will only re-break your heart every time you pull them out to look at them.
6. when the basement floods, hold their hand.
7. if you are not a strong swimmer, remember that the difference between love and codependence is that one of then will drown you.
8. love will never drown you.
9. i knew this from the start but let you hold me beneath the waves in spite of it, just so you could stay afloat. i can't do that anymore.
10. i don't think i'll ever set foot on your hardwood floors again, but i'll pray that someone new moves in soon.

you're a book that has been locked shut and the writer has swallowed the key. and i heard he's ripped out a few pages because they were tearing him apart knowing he wrote them, and because the thought of creating such a thing could drive any man insane. and legend says he doesn't remember when he wrote you, or what crawled into his head to make him want to write down what he did. but if somebody took the time to look at his handwriting, the way he dotted his "i's" and messed up on his "h's" because his hands were cramping from getting lost in you for so long and if you let somebody read every page, take the time to read everything that makes up you, dog ear your pages when they find something interesting and then go back and read the same sentence over and over again, and silently apologize when they have to put you down for the night, i think you could learn to understand that not everybody absorbs insanity quite like you.

No name
The breeze is kissing my skin
while twirling around the autumn leaves
The fresh rain is cascading all over the park
and now gliding away
it stops.

Sparkling drops are laying softly on the grass
while they're gentley tickling my fingers
With lightly leg movements
I walk through a narrow path.

Yet a flower to see

The petals of a brightly red rose
are beautifully spread out to each side
My fluffy cheecks are blushing by
the smell of the heavenly flower

I feel alive

My coffee-brown eyes are glancing at my love
but he does not notice my existence
I crave for his affection,
yet he does not see me.*

The rain comes pouring down *again...
