We die everyday,
Slowly but surely we sink into oblivion
We are so many things at once
Yet all die eventually,
All die, and they are replaced by different things,
So that we become different,
To the point where we don't even remember
Where it all started,
Or where it will end.
We go toward what is unknown
The cold darkness that
Is a lack of consciousness
The inabililty to understand
The world around us any longer.

I am walking on a path,
The surface of it rubs against my feet like sand paper,
Water is all around me cavering the path and lapping at my feet,
Making it so cold that I almost can't feel them
Yet there is always some kind of awareness that says
I must have feet because I am walking.
I grasp onto a skinny smooth railing that floats above the path,
It is my only source of sanity,
And, in itself, could be considered a reality.
There's nothing to see
But the railing;
The angry white tips of tiny waves that crash
Over my feet and the edge of the path
They line the path,
I can see them until they disappear into the dark.

Fear is my only companion.
Another constant to join the white tipped waves and railing.
I have nothing here.
And yet it is all I know,
For what is a human's progression through life
But the following of a path that seems to have no end
And holding tight to the aspects of our lives that never seem to change?

There is no beginning or end in 'life'
And we have little understanding of how we pass through it,
We wish and hope and dream
But do we really know why?
Do we really understand our desicions?
Yet does it even matter to understand anything at all?

We all die
But we don't know why
We don't understand
Why the path never ends
We always yearn for more
But we don't understand what it is we yearn for
We walk on in isolation
Waiting for the end with infinite patience.

We all die
And there is no reason
No answer
To the why.

You see the thing is
words were my thing
since I was a little girl
I loved writing poetry
and stories that might
never come true but
with you I can't say
a single thing without
choking on my own
words while my breath
is taken by the beauty
of your eyes

I woke up this morning with the initiative to fall into the arms of a nervous lover;
The ideal lover.
I had the ambitions to succeed,
and I almost did.
I almost discovered that new light within me.
I had my coffee,
dark as usual;
Pretending I was drinking it with you.
I completed my homework,
because you know how much of a procrastinator I can be.
Actually, you don't.
Most would not be able to accept me at my worst,
for I have not yet learned to accept myself.
Some say I am a natural born intellect,
and I wish it were true.
I yearn for it to be true.
Placebos can be pretty convincing, you know?
Like what I form of myself when I am around you,
the kind of clay that can be formed and reformed into whatever you please.
I would gladly be anything you please.
When it comes matters of the heart,
I can be fairly childish.
You understand,
because you can be to.
You're nervous around me,
and I love that about you.
It is cute.
Yes, cute.
Intensity is not a necessity.
So, time is on our hands.
All we have is a looking glass,
darkened coffee and a looking glass.
I am a dreamer. Solid and true , That is all that is need said for this poem.

Freedom

Freedom isn't always
cutting ties
isolation
Freedom is
acceptance
loving without limits
giving all of yourself
taking your heart out knowing half the time it will be spit on and crushed
bashed into the art of your proudest moments
Freedom means you know what's best for yourself
it is the unconvention of spending two hours on love letters
and two minutes on schoolwork
You are not wrong in following your heart
there is no shame in loving the ocean as well as the forest
never feel like you are confined to the mountains
because you are worried of the pines reaching jealousy
I only ask
tread lightly on my needles
visit occasionally
keep loving the forest

When you feel so low
that you can't read time
and you feel so sad
that you think everyone's blind

No one sees your plight
the world's no longer bright
you got only one place to hide
and that's your fallen pride

You can't win this fight!
You can't win this fight!

When it's You vs You!
When it's You vs You!

What does he think?
What does she think?
What does the world want to know?
How do I say?
What's the best way to convey?
That everything's fine and all is well

You can't win this fight!
You can't win this fight!

When it's You vs You!
When it's You vs You!

But you know what
there's no need to fight
there's no need to hide
there's no need to think
there's no need to blink
when you make your decisions
don't think of precision
when you're left all alone
when you're all on your own
two words will keep you afloat
two words will keep you on board

Wait and Hope!
Wait and Hope!
Wait and Hope!

Wait
and
Hope!

You may have read
All my past work
You may have liked it
You may have hated it

Yet you  find yourself
Wanting to read it again
Because you felt the pain
I try to express

You yearn to know
If your alone or not
Well read this next line carefully
Your never alone as long as I breathe

You search my name
There in the corner
You click on all my work
And read it all day

Well I thank you for it
I know loneliness is a *****
You may think your the "you"
In all my poems

Well maybe you are
I dont need to know you
But you are my muse
And again thank you

This poem doesnt need a title
You are the poem yourself
You're the beauty in this world
You are the world to me
Idk why I wrote this one. Just did.
