Why don't you just _ me like everyone else does?
How are you feeling today?

I'm enthralled by you,
And all the things that you do.
I tell myself I don't want you back...
Withdrawal symptoms when it's you I lack.
See, you are my greatest addiction,
Unbelievable, like a work of fiction.

As she laughed I was aware of becoming involved
in her laughter and being part of it, until her
teeth were only accidental stars with a talent
for squad-drill. I was drawn in by short gasps,
inhaled at each momentary recovery, lost finally
in the dark caverns of her throat, bruised by
the ripple of unseen muscles. An elderly waiter
with trembling hands was hurriedly spreading a
pink and white checked cloth over the rusty
green  iron table, saying: ‘If the lady and
gentleman wish to take their tea in the garden,
if the lady and gentleman wish to take their tea
in the garden…’ I decided that if the shaking
of her ******* could be stopped, some of the
fragments of the afternoon might be collected,
and I concentrated my attention with careful
subtlety to this end.

Falling for you was the easy thing to do
Having a permanent love is against the odds
Burning passion bleeding from every inch of me
So love sick hoping and praying that it's meant to be

I can't let you walk away without a trace
You can see the tracks of my tears upon my face
Knowing three words would change how I feel
To have a permanent love I know it's not real

These emotions I have you know they are real
I've fallen in love and that's what I feel
So love sick and knowing this will never be
There will never be a you and a me

Imagination
Is all that is required
To write a haiku.

Living the teenage dream,
Although everything is not as it may seem.
I don't really want to be pedantic,
But let's make this a matter of semantics.

Come on, give this dog a bone,
Because nobody truly wants to be alone.
In the past, I always wanted to fit in,
No matter the cost, no matter the sin.

However, with this new beginning of mine,
I'm sure that I'll make it just fine.

The coefficient of my sadness
Is greater than the square root of my madness.
My thoughts are quadratic,
My actions are enigmatic;
My aim is to perplex,
Now all I have to do is solve for x.
