Are There Angels

Are there angels here beside us as we journey life's winding road,
Sent from heaven here to guide us along
future paths unknown?

I saw an angel in my dream with an
iridescent smile,
raven hair, delicate wings and a
warm angelic style.
She bore a sweet resemblance to
someone I used to know,
but the era had lapsed, long since passed, for the winds of time do blow.
She told me of a heavenly land, a
paradise she claimed,
that awaits the souls of everyone who
worship Jesus name.
She showed me living waters baring
life of endless flow,
unconditional love for our master above
a place where streets are paved in gold.
And when my dream came to an end she
kissed me tenderly,
whispered we'll soon meet again when
God feels it's meant to be.
In the morning I awakened to the
dawning of the day,
with my spirit a glow for I'd been
kissed by a rose,
in this dream I'll cherish till my
dying day.

Yes angels walk beside us however
unbelievable it seems,
sent from heaven here to guide us
even in our dreams.

How Grateful I Would  Be

If I could have just one more day and
wishes did come true,
I'd spend every glorious moment
side by side with you.
Recalling all the years we shared
and memories we made,
how grateful I would be
to have just one more day.
Where the tears I've shed are
not in vain and only fall in bliss,
so many things I'd let you know
about the days you've missed.
I wouldn't have to make pretend
you never went away,
how grateful I would be to
have just one more day.
When that day came to a close
and the sun began to set,
a million times I'd let you know
I never will forget.
The heart of gold you left behind
when you entered Heaven's gate,
how grateful I would be to
have just one more day.

My Angel Peeking Through

If I could visit heaven
only for a day,
and all the grief I've suffered
be vanished all away.
What a blessing it would be
to hear your voice once more,
say the words I love you
like you always did before.
It's hard down here on earth
without your strength and guidance,
the shoulder that I leaned upon
the friend I could confide in.
God chose you for a reason
a plan to us unknown,
and asked that we have faith in
him until he calls us home.
When I say my prayers tonight
I hope you're listening too
watching me from up above
my angel peeking through.

Once In A Lifetime

It doesn't happen often
maybe once in a lifetime,
someone comes along
a friendship is born
by the Master's design.
You may not realize now
but soon they'll come a day,
when out of the blue you remember
that special person God sent
your way.
Leaving imprints on our hearts
memories of priceless measure,
singing its melody time after time
frozen moments
we all will treasure.
The tears shed now
will be replaced
remember the good old days,
give thanks for the time you were given
and the friendship that you made.
Once in a lifetime comes along
for a reason I believe,
those who make a difference
never ever leave.

Dedicated to my dear friend  LT

The Locket

I have a special locket that rest above my heart,
it holds your beautiful pictures while we must be apart.
It's my hope that you're still with me no matter come what may,
so I know that I can talk to you every single day.
When I walk into a storm you're watching over there,
guiding me to sunny skies with tender loving care.
I'll never have to be alone you're always next to me,
you show me love in different ways the eyes could never see.
Your spirit fills my soul with love beyond any explanation,
with pride I'll wear it every day in total admiration.
Of the woman who changed my life and patiently awaits,
arms wide open to welcome me when I reach heavens gates.
It's never really good bye if in your heart you do believe,
a mothers love is endless, and never ever leaves.

In memory of Shirley A Fowler
For all who have lost a mother my heart goes out to you. My mom passed away from cancer Sept 2,2012. I wonder if my heart will ever stop breaking. Her pictures are in my locket and I wear it every day. She was a wonderful mother and I miss her more than words can say. I know she is with the Lord now and not suffering anymore and someday when God calls me home I will see her again. God bless
Pet Port A *****

I took a walk in the city today
to try to pass the time away.
Saw lots of people walking too
stepped right in a pile of doggy doo.
I thought for a moment just what could be done
to clean up the streets of doggie dung.
Maybe I'll invent something really super
even finer than a pooper scooper.
A port a ***** for our four legged friends
on every street corner where every road bends.
Then I'll become famous for this awesome invention
at the monthly town meetings my name will be mentioned.
They'll throw a big party and dance in the streets
because never again will there be **** on our feet!

Yucky Chucky Tucker

Yucky Chucky Tucker was smelly as can be,
he never took a bath and hardly ever brushed his teeth.
Everywhere he went he left an odor in the air,
and Yucky Chucky Tucker never combed his hair.
His hands were always ***** cause he played with stinky worms,
he never cared if he got sick, he wasn't afraid of germs.
He didn't have a lot of friends except for one or two,
till Yucky Chucky Tucker met little Linda Sue.
Linda was quite pretty, an awesome sight to admire
and Yucky Chucky Tucker would give anything to sit by her.
But he'd have to make some changes and what I mean by that,
Yucky Chucky Tucker would have to take a bath.
He'd have to wash his hands and scrub his ***** face,
and to clean his stained up yellow teeth would take a tube of paste.
He'd have to wash his hair at least a dozen times,
to remove the terrible build up of sticky greasy grime.
Then Yucky Chucky Tucker would have to change his clothes,
sprinkle on cologne and find a bright red rose.
And maybe if he's lucky little Linda Sue,
might take another look at him and think he's really cute.
Funny how a pretty girl can change the way you think,
cause even Yucky Chucky Tucker washed away his stink,
All to catch the eye of little Linda Sue,
besides, her daddy owned a toy store, now what's a boy to do?
