You’re an idea I had
as I fell to sleep last night.
This morning, I can remember your
verbs—a general outline.
I’m haunted by the ellipsis of you.

But this fatal mind convinces me,
my Pale King,
that—if I’m
worthy—you’ll return
to my pillow
as I fall
Again.
I still can't remember those **** nouns.
I've got nothing left to say, all the sleepless nights together,
The moments lived like it was forever
all of it has gone to waste
but let me tell you this it's not the being speechless part that hurts the most,
it's the fact that all we have left is the silence between what should've been and what could've been
You've got alot to say for the one that got away
You are not mine
and never were you meant to be
I have taken
what does not belong to me
In doing so
we were robbed at will's decree
Of forever
     replaced it with carnality
Although  it felt
     like everything fit perfectly
I watched my heart
     fight the lie relentlessly
For I have been
long before our lives did meet
Tied to one
who set his soul upon his knee
And I must go
I'm asking you to let me leave
To claim again
     the key to our eternity
The mists rise over
The waters at Asuka;
Memory does not
Pass away so easily.

I remember you were
calm
once the ashes were
long gone
& I never gave notice
'cause all I ever noticed was
all wrong

worn out matchbooks
& wildfire eyes
steadily fixed upon the glow
I've come to borrow
from the
sky

I'll find rest in my
burdens
I'll find vitality in my
fate
& the air you've lent to my
aching lungs
is the life I shall
create
They say that God lives very high;
But if you look above the pines
You cannot see our God; and why?

And if you dig down in the mines,
You never see Him in the gold,
Though from Him all that’s glory shines.

God is so good, He wears a fold
Of heaven and earth across His face,
Like secrets kept, for love, untold.

But still I feel that His embrace
Slides down by thrills, through all things made,
Through sight and sound of every place;

As if my tender mother laid
On my shut lids her kisses’ pressure,
Half waking me at night, and said,
“Who kissed you through the dark, dear guesser?”
Six seconds
What takes that long?
You can't write yourself a letter
You can't write yourself a song
Evelyn Mc Hale...six seconds
Eighty Six Floors
Jumped from the observation deck
And now she is no more
Six Seconds
Twenty three years old
Now she's dead and buried
And it's time her tale was told
On May Day '47
She thought she'd make a rotten wife
Did she know that when she took hers
She'd make the next cover of LIFE?
It only took six seconds
To land upon the car
86 stories downward
It doesn't sound that far
Most Beautiful they called it
Like they were describing a red rose
But they were talking of a suicide
Where she lost her shoes and ripped her hose
The photo that was taken
One seen all around the world
Makes it look like she was sleeping
And still clutching at  her pearls
Six seconds to the cover
Six seconds...to the ground
when you choose to make a leap like this
Do you care who is around?
She looks calm, cool and collected
Everything was in it's place
One arm was out beside her
There was contentment on her face
The real reason she did it
Is gone forever, yes I reckon
Evelyn McHale made LIFE
And it only took six seconds.
Check out....The Most Beautiful Suicide on google. Evelyn McHale, 23, jumped 86 floors to her death from the top of The Empire State Building in May 1947. She didn't think she would make a worthy wife apparently. The ensuing picture shows her still holding her pearl necklace, as she lies dead atop a UN car waiting below.
