I believe in everything,
I know I shouldn't, but I do,
I guess I'm just a foolish little girl,
I still believe things to be true,
And although I am still bruised,
That I can be shined as good as new.
I believe in people,
Even if they all break my heart,
I know the fires hot,
But maybe this time I won't be burned,
I believe in contradictions,
Solutions to problems,
Not all people are evil,
You just have to know how to look at them,
I believe in miracles,
The light in the dark,
Wishes on stars,
I don't know why,
I believe it all,
I'm just a foolish girl,
I fall to hard,
I believe it all.

I believe
             that you believe
                                        that you believe
                       that they believe
                                                   what you believe
                                                                and you believe
                                                  what he believes
                                                                             and he believes
                                                                                           what she believes
                                                                and she believes
                                 what they believe
          so she believes
           what she believes
             and he believes
              what she believes
                 and they believe
                    what he believes
                                                                                              and I can't believe I got a 113 bowling last night.

Lights out
Good night
The sun has set
The night time hour
Has descended upon us
The night has come
The lights are gone
Lost in the night
When the lights first go out
It can be hard to see
Sometimes we can stumble along
Not knowing where we need to go
Tripping over and stumbling
Over any obstacle in our way
After a while
Our night vision kicks in
And we start to see farther
The night starts getting brighter
The obstacles in our way
Become more clear
We get to the point
Where we can navigate
Through the night
With relative ease
Life is a lot like
Switching the lights off
When things are the brightest
Some time we can stumble along
Not really knowing
Which way we should be going
Tripping over every obstacle
That trips us up
Or that falls in our way
But its once we have been in the dark
For a little bit of time
When we start to become
More adept at navigating the night
Learning to trust our night vision
Trusting our instincts instead of our eyes
Learning to trust the inner primal knowing
That guides you through those dark ravines
That guides you through those dark points
Learn to trust that night vision
That inner knowing
The inner faith
That will lead you through
The darkest night
When the light go out
Careful child
That’s not to eat
Careful child
The stairs are steep
Listen to me child; the world’s a dangerous place

Careful child
Not everyone’s a friend
Careful child
Hearts aren’t easy to mend
Learn quickly child; the world’s a dangerous place

Careful child
It’s not yet your time
Careful child
**** them with kindness, not with crime
Take caution child; the world’s a dangerous place

Careful child
You’ve grown at last
Careful child
Learn from your past
Take care child; the world’s all yours

this will be my shortest day

I give up, my bones are frail

close your eyes so you don't see

gasp
rest

my final breath will leave this chest

Influenced by the Worth of Words
I took a trip to write in France
I have come back to now inter
The Spirit of Romance:

There once were times of eloquence
When words were bought and sold in pence
Their quantity was so immense
But what have you all done?

Uphold the discourse, that you swore
‘though from her bitter grasp you tore
The beauty that you must abhor
Where has her meaning gone?

The time is nigh, you must repent
Begin your verbalized dissents
We gave words death in cent and tense
What happens at the dawn?

What does our future have in store?
A zeitgeist’s language unadorned
The pen is mightier than the sword,
But what about the gun?

Hercules Wouldn't Cry

So why should I?
I truly accept that I will die
In my grave the the answer lies
To the mystery of why

Where does logic truly stand?
Is it in the Israeli sands
We will all soon know
As we search for the bodies in the nuclear snow

Will it end in fire or ice?
Sell your mind to your favorite vice
Society is a vicious case of lice
Going where it thinks it belongs
Destroying to stay strong
Naive enough to not see it's wrongs
