This fiendish beast arises from hell
The tricks he plays are cunning and evil

He strikes in a second and disappears in an other
He only returns when your blood is gone

This demon is evil and cunning
This demon is strong and fast

He does somewhat creates order out of chaos
He empties the sea with his unique presence

Fear him, but do not hate him
For he is only obeying the law god cursed him with
His body is the sea
His soul is the air
As he sores through our dreams
And protect us from our fear

This powerful king rules over the world
This powerful king is a cruel one too

He gives life but he takes it as well
He is life, he is death, he is god

Beware I say, beware
Because when you enter his kingdom of shadows

You are no longer safe from the tyrant king
A little boy sits in the rain
He has no one to hold on to

Alone and desperate
He looks unto tomorrow

One day, the sun lifts
One day, the little boy isn’t alone
In the dark of night, flies dark words
Unbidden cruelty pops out a sullen canvas

The blank wall hears, sees and spreads
It transmits hate, love or fear

However, it feels them not
A cold truth it is, to have a skeleton
but no spine

The dead walk when he talks
Defying both law and nature

Arisen from a newly dug grave
Sullen from a horrid rave

This monstrosity of life, opens woes and wounds
This cruel beast has no other emotion then loathe

Hello, goodbye, onto an other world
The one ruled by shadows
The coward flees battle
The brute is eager for it
The wise loathe to fight
But fight for the ones they love
Tendons cracking, skin unfolding
Heart beating, wings dancing

Roar resounding, fire raging
Power exceeding, beauty enhancing

True nobility is born from freedom
True knowledge is born from living

When man sees the wind
He feels the earth
When man touches fire
He understands water

But when man becomes the dragon
He wakes
Like all my poems, I believe an artwork exudes the meaning that the person reading/looking at it decides or understands from it. To me, this poem  represent the potential that lies dormant within every single one of us. Yet again, it is up to you to create meaning.
I once knew a woman from Nantucket
Whose heart was so big she couldn’t hide it
She once sat surrounded by friends that loved her
Whose words about her were non truer
