It's the bends.
It's always the bends.
You don't see them

But they're coming.

They're always coming
No matter where:
High or low,
Near or far.

Nowhere is impossible for them to reach

They're coming.
The cars.
They zoom past at the speed of light.
You will never see them
But they're coming.

They're
The last sound you'll hear,
A sudden loud honk
And you'll drop dead.
That's how death will sound like, yes,

A loud honk.

Oh, do you hear
The other sounds?
Hear all the people
Screaming, yelling,
Even the quiet ones,
Hahahaha...

Silently mocking you.

Prepare yourself,
Brace yourself.

RUN.

Hear that?
Oh look, you're breathing's getting
Faster and
Faster and
Faster.

You're going to die, mate.
Going. To. Die.

Run.
Run.
Run.

But oh wait,
You can't

Oh here it is,
This is how you die:
Heart beats faster,
Lungs expand quicker,
Vision goes blurry.

Remember the bends...
Remember the people...

If they know,
They will tell the psychiatrist.
The psychiatrist must never know.
No, no, no...

They'll **** you.
Wipe your brain clean.
Everyone will be gone.
You don't want that.

No, psychiatrist... no...

No.

I can tell by your laugh that you've never known grief;
you've never had thoughts that follow you endlessly,
you've never hurt so much that you don't hurt at all.

I can tell by your laugh that you've never been lost
and you've never endured loss.
Nightmares have never kept you from breathing
and you've never feared life.

I can tell by your laugh that you still fear death,
you still fear the unknown.
Your eyes aren't weighed down with experience yet
and your smile is genuine every single time.

I can tell by your laugh that nothing haunts you.
I can tell by your laugh that you're still alive.

We may never know
who people write about
and how they can keep writing
and
writing
and
writing

I know I write for someone
I also know the chances are
deathly low

But I still try
But I still try to reach the unreachable

And I can trust that you
the person reading my poetry
can understand and relate to
yourself and others
about changes
I was reading some of my old poetry, and the poetry of my friends and how we have changed over the years.. weird... how it happens

Early mornings are te best time on the day,
It's quiet it's peace swallows me,
Helps me forget the pain and sorrow,
Helps me let go of the pain from the night before,
The night of nightmares.

Early mornings are the best time during th day,
It reminds me of you,
Your smile your laugh was like the the rising sun,
The cold that sends shivers up my spin is like your touch,
The sweet song birds are like your voice whispering good morning.

But now my my mornings are empty with out you,
My mornings are filled with pain from the night before the night of nightmares and pain,
So my sweet angel remover the that each morning is a new day,
A clean slate a new start,
Smile at the world and remover the the sweet songs of the birds the warmth of the sun on your skin.

Early mornings are the best time during the day.
Yes,
I know,
Sometimes it feels like all the people
who you've once loved and cared for,
are the very ones trying to dig
your own grave

And yes,
I know,
It feels like the world is crumbling down
at the very touch of your fingertips,
while everyone else is ecstatic and enthusiastic
about the life that they're living.

I know what it's like,
to believe that your being
is far more useless and unimportant
than anyone else's

And yes,
I know that all you want is
for the people you
love and care about,
to just love and care for you back

But sometimes, yes
we need to realize that
what we want
isn't always possible

And that being cared about,
or loved, or treated with
the respect we deserve,
isn't always palpable

But yes,
I also know that to me,
your eyes are able to light
up an entire room,
when I'm surrounded by darkness

And I know
that you can get knocked down
over and over and over again,
and I would still be there each time,
to bring you back to your feet

Because I know
that you are worth more than
what any harsh words,
or human damage
can do to you

And I know,
that there are an unimaginable
amount of places and things
for you to go,
and for you to see

And you
should never let
anyone's mistakes
or inconsiderateness
break you down

Because I know
how special you are,
and I wouldn't ever let that
slip out of my grasp

You are stronger than diamond,
your loveliness is  greater
than the depth of the sea,
you are capable of amazing things,

And,
I know this.
