Each day is a sentence in the
story of your life and each
day you make the choice of
whether or not that sentence
ends with a period, a question
mark,or an exclamation point,
or even if the sentence is worth
ending at all.

Before you can live a part of
you has to die as you have
to let go of what could have
been and realize that we are
what we are today because
of the choices that we made
yesterday and it doesn't matter
how hard it was to make those
choices,what does matter is
that we did.

Choose thoughts that give
you the emotions of being
alive and excited about life
and know that you are where
you are and that you are who
you are with today because of  
decisions you made yesterday
but also realize that you can
change your tomorrow today.

You cannot change where you
came from but you can change
where you are going and know
that you cannot continue down
the same path that you have
been on if you expect to arrive
at a different destination.

Life is not lived with intentions
but with action and the past
cannot be changed but we must
carry our choices that are  made
in only brief seconds hoping that
we are taking our life in the right
direction that we want it to be  
knowing that we will be paying
for those choices in our remaining
time here.

integrity,  inhibit your self-expressiveness.

Love  your enemies in case  your  friends
turn out to be jerks.

Whoever  you're  longing  for has  been
changed by your pursuit of them. They are
different from what they were when  you
felt the first pangs of desire.

To make them yours, then, you'll have to
modify  your  ideas  about  them.

Be careful what you wish for because if your
wish does materialize, it will require you to
change in ways you didn't foresee.

The biggest lesson I've learned
this year
is that no one is really your friend
or truly loves you
until they've seen every dark
shadow inside of you

and stayed.

Not everyone gets
the same version of me.
One person might tell you I'm
an amazing beautiful soul,
another person will say I'm a
cold - heart ted ******* - believe
them both. I act accordingly.

No one is more hated than he who
speaks the truth, and if you want to
come into my life, the door is open,
you want to get out of my life, the door
is open. Just one request... Don't stand

Giver of wisdom
You are the North star
         of my soul.

I've searched the worlds
of beauty and chaos
          for you.

From life time to life time,
star to star,world to world,
through torrential storms,  
great wildernesses and
primitive civilizations.

I've passed through them
all in search of you and
at times you were just a
memory - a previous
fragrance embraced -
and that was enough
          for me.

Onward I went into countless
unknowns always in search
          of you.

I fashioned a piece of visual
poetry that held my most
essential memory of you
and I cast it into the inner
and outer universes as a
beacon...a homing beacon.

Fifty years, a lifetime for some but for me the blink
of an eye as true love is the ripe fruit of a lifetime
and those fifty years have seemed to me but a few
days.

The love I have had for her , like great loves,  lives
on and on and I love her more today than yesterday
and our love, forever warm and still to be enjoyed
is forever panting and forever young.

In the light and warmth of love our life grows
strong and comely, a better dwelling nor a sweeter
I have never found knowing that the heart that has
truly loved never forgets and loves on to the close.

No matter what beauties I saw on my way back to
you, they were but visits but you are my home and
chance cannot change my love nor time impair
knowing that love beyond the world cannot be
separated by it as great  loves live on and on.

Let us tend love's fire until the end knowing that
youth is but an hour, beauty a flower but love is
the jewel that wins the world and as age enriches
true love these five words I swear to you; I'll be
there for you and know that I'd live and die for
you but my words can't say what love can do
and as you breathe I want to be the air for you.

Somewhere there waits in this world of ours the
crowning glory of loving and being loved and
what is earth with all of its Art, Poetry and Music
worth--compared with love found and kept,
defining love as two souls in one, two hearts
into one heart knowing that he is not a lover
who does not love forever.

Worry is like a rocking chair,
it gives you something to
do, but gets you nowhere
and the reason people hold
onto memories so tight, for
so long is because memories
are the only things that don't
change, even when people
do, so don't get caught up
in your thoughts so much
that you can't see that it
isn't what you look at that
matters, it is what you see
so keep in mind that at any
given moment you have the
power to say, this is not how
the story is going to end.

The world is going to judge
you no matter what you do
so live your life the way
you want to knowing that
worrying doesn't take away
tomorrows troubles, it takes
away today.

The happiness of your life
depends upon the quality
of your thoughts so be
grateful for another day
knowing that not
everybody made it, and
don't take it for granted
and know that those
mountains that you carry,
you were only supposed
