Walking the streets of this poets
memory I come to a meeting place.

Where the river mirrors the sky
in glassy completion, where the
earth gives way to water, where
two souls surrender to their smallness.

A fleeting moment in a temporary
existence, this moment is met, again
and again in a place that transcends time.

We were together for such a short
time but in my mind she will be for
a lifetime.

I have to wonder why? It seems only
the blink of an eye and she was gone.

I will untie and let fall,

landing on the feet of me,
a whisper as it settles.
There is time to take
and lines to trace on the backs
of your legs. I will decorate

Look back over your shoulder
and let your hands
be still
at your sides,
I will kiss the spots
aching from
the day.
Love has a taste, and I've
held it in my mouth.
Didn't know sour could taste
sweet, or sweet
fringed with ****.
Your name has a flavor,
and I keep it beneath
my tongue, afraid
it will dissolve
if I move too much,

                       Always try to
                remember, the main
                           cause of
                problems is solutions.

Every accomplishment starts
with the decision to try and
limitations live only in our
minds but if we use our
imagination, our possibilities
become limitless.

The road is long with many a
winding turns and if you are
always on the road not to
reach a goal but to enjoy its
beauty and its wisdom, life
ceases to be a task and
becomes natural and simple,
in itself an ecstasy.

If there's something special
you want to do, now is the
time...if you want to make a
difference in the world, now
is the time. Don't be fooled  
into thinking you should wait
until you are older or wiser or
more 'secure' or that it is just
around the corner, because it
doesn't work that way.

The wisdom will come. The
security will come. But first
you must begin your adventure
realizing that it is not waiting
for you 'just around the corner,'
for our wisdom is the point of
view from which we come at
last to regard the world.
