Nowhere
Jayla Dec 2018
You see light
No one is there
you look around
now you are scared

it started from a dare
you didn't have a single care
Eating all of their stares
Looking at you like they're beard

But now you know
You were stupid enough to go
Thinking it was a show
Now receiving it like a blow

You scream for help
You hear a voice and then you hear more
You hear the footsteps above the floor

Stupid Things
Jayla Dec 2018
Mondays and Sundays are the worst
I hate Sundays cause I don’t like the sound of the name and it’s a boring day
I mean yeah my birthday was on a Sunday this year
Did not like that one bit

My favorite day of the week is Saturday
The most wonderful day of the week
The only day my body will let me sleep in
And also fighting against the urge of slapping my siblings to let me sleep in

The day I hate the most when I am at school is Wednesday
It gives me the gist that one day a huge spider is gonna swoop me up
And take me in its web and eat me till I'm dead
Or a snake is gonna come and **** me and eat me for supper

My favorite day of the school week is Friday
I think but at least it’s Friday
I like it because I am so ready for school to be over this year
Much more than any other year

I don’t know what’s waiting for me in the years to come
But I don’t think I’m ready for it either
But guess what? Hah! chicken ****
No just kidding
I am going to make it through

Sure I might fall flat on my face like I did a lot this year
At home and at school
But guess what
I will get back up again and pull it together
I will be ready for a new year and I will be prepared

Thank You

Don`t Be Ashamed
Jayla Dec 2018
All of us mean something in this world to someone or something
Even if we're poor or rich or stupid or smart or anything in this world
No matter what people say, everybody means something
Sometimes people try to hide whatever they like sometimes
Because you're ashamed of it but you don't have to be ashamed of it

Some people are ashamed of the people they love or the things they do
And sometimes the things you do can be ashamed of like ****** or robbery
But a lot of people are ashamed of themselves or someone they care for
Because people are judgemental about likes and dislikes of their own

That they choose to overpower you and pressure you to do what they want you to do
and then you care about what they think and then you fall into their trap
That trap, where the world is based on the kings and queens of judgementality
And then you try to get out and then you  think it's useless because you keep falling and falling

But you can get up and get out of that hole and show them that they don't control you
Unless you choose to let them control you and your decisions
But you don't because you know they're wrong
You shouldn't be ashamed of what you like or what you care about and they don't like it

You are the boss of you
You don't let them make the decisions for you
You are the person who makes your decisions
So don't let them make the decisions for you
Let yourself make the decisions for you

Someday
Jayla Dec 2018
You made me feel like I could touch the stars
When you left you left scars
We once planned to leave together in cars
But I suppose that's not the way things are

One day we will meet again
Someday, but I don't know when
I've been wondering how you've been
And one day when our journey will begin

I miss you so much just to let you know
Even when you think that you don't think so
You were a diamond that just popped out in the middle of the road

My life changed the day you came
And we both know that we'll never be the same
There was pain and there will be gain
We left a mark on each other that will always stay a stain

The day you left shook my heart
My heart shattered and broke apart
All that was left was just pieces and shards
There are still some pieces that I don't where are

The stars will fall for us one day
But that will be when we pass away
That will maybe be the day
The day of our someday

— The End —
