1.
If you’re given the jolly gift of a green ribbon
Would you use it as a link to answers
Or to hang your pretty neck?

2.
If a tree has been yearning to the sky for more than sixty years
Would you now stub out your ciggie in its folds
Or embrace its giving energy?

3.
If such books have been written many millennia ago – saying a multitude
Would you shut your ears to debate and follow blindly
Or respectfully ask bold questions?

4.
If a man kneels repentant in the dust to wipe your shoes
Would you offer a hand up
Or trample on his fingers and spit on his bent head?

5.
If the insipid cashier annoys your sensibilities
Do you leave it unattended
And later sickeningly vent and shout at the wrong one at home?

6.
If a once-beautiful cat lies dead in the road
Would you let your rapid wheels contribute to its *messy mince

Or do the ***** job of humanely scooping away its remains?

7.
If a powerful dream comes mayhap to honour you
Would you ignore its seemingly-confusing message
Or follow its signals (in a maze)  to certain life-enhancing enrichment?

8.
If constant calamity touches your being on stretched resources
Would you keep popping those three sublinguals with alarming ease
Or try to surrender and accept the pain under arborescent canopies?

9.
If an old woman suffers a stroke in the heart of festivity
Would you refrain from visits while sending easy bouquets and fruit-baskets
Or take the time to help her struggling steps to the toilet?

10.
If the moon shines tonight on your wretched suffering
Would you hurl silent abuse and curse its half-light
Or glance up to catch perchance the echo of your deepest wishes in the air around ...?

something to be said for intrepid wayfarers out there ....rock on!

:)

sub-entry:  hide

face the wall
go
stand in the corner
don’t want to see your shame
hide your eyes

how do you hide a wall?
easy…. see right through

close the shutters
and hide light in the mind:
escape

but not so easy to protect
a floundering candle.

Destiny* had had offered me a choice,
Good memory* or a best friend for life,
I don't much remember what I chose.
My memory had been much more better before a significant road accident.

She's my dearest everyone.
She's my unwritten poem.
She's my guiding light.

The wind keeping me away from stillness of water.
The pure delight on a gloomy day acting as the daughter.
The everyday sugar in my cup of unfaltering life.

She's my dear darling love,
She's my sunbathing dove,
She's my future wife.

The dancing celestial nymph in my corner mind,
The beautiful-beautiful signatures' right-hand,
The relaxing Immortal Goddess in my real life.

She's my most-prized friend,
She's my passionate trend,
She's my relief from daily strife.

I know You hear me

I know You’re here

No matter what I hear, I’ll trust You’re here

JUST as you are.

In yays,
In nays,
In dirt,
In praise,
In all,
In nothing,
In cold,
In sweat,
In confusion,
In conviction,
In tears,
In presence,
In chaos,
In faith,

He says “Come."

These eyes were given to see --
to see the marvel as wind sings leaves to dance,
to see the intricate design of a bee that buzzes by,
to see the confusion of unfair justice,
to see the wonder of man's mind.

These eyes were given to witness --
to witness kindness in spurts of randomness,
to witness the unfathomable realities,
to witness the ugliness of greed,
to witness the hope of man.

These eyes were given to share --
to share the uniqueness of each and every story,
to share the oneness in the heart of empathy,
to share tears that speak with eloquence,
to share laughter that proves to heal.

These eyes were given to feel --
to feel the needs beyond what the eye can see,
to feel the ache beyond what words can explain,
to feel the warmth of kindness's hand,
to feel the beauty of life as it remains indescribable.
when I was young
I used to dream
what is love
what could it mean
I used to fantasize
the perfect mate
then I realized
I had to wait
for this dream
to come true
for my heart
to find you
it wasn't easy
and I got hurt
there were times
when it didn't work
I would either cry
or feel so down
I wanted to die
than be around
I wanted to run
just disappear
I felt I was done
I gave into fear
but one day
it came to my surprise
I found myself
looking in your eyes
it felt so different
it felt so right
like heavens angels
golden light
I knew I had to try again
I knew you were my other half
I knew your heart I had to win
I knew you were what I wanted to have
you're the reason
I never lost hope
you're the reason
I still go
You will always be my special one
we'll always stick together
cause I love you baby
always... and... forever.
Don't you ever dream like crazy
hoping there will be someone there
Don't you ever hope so baby
that life could once be fair?

You're waking up from nightmares
that feel like you'll be all alone
You're feeling that no one cares
so you're hiding out at home,
crying in the corner of your room
hoping no one will hear
sleeping till 12 o'clock noon
giving in to your fear.

Baby don't you give up,
you need to realize
baby don't you ever stop,
you'll find him when the time is right.

So pick up yourself
and smile always,
hang on in there
baby always.

So pick up yourself
and smile always
hang on in there
baby always...
You can't see me
but you can hear me out
I'm always around you
helping you out
I tell you the rights
and the wrongs
what life
we're among
you can follow
and i'll lead
i'll show you
where to be
keep your head up straight
and your eyes open wide
my best advice is
to do what you try
never lose hope
cause you need to succeed
man, i'm your conscience
you gotta believe in me
I know this life
to your left to your right
why do you think I'm here for
just to entertain you every night
I got your answers
to your questions
but you ain't hearing me out
you're up in your life
trying to figure yourself out...
