Outside my unseeing windows
Stringed lamp posts
Pierce the deepest night.

Lights still dance
Along the streets,
Reflected in silent pools,
Splashed by gentle roars
Of pavement rubber
Racing the idled road.

Beneath my candid room
The aircon units gargle
Their cold nocturne
Of sleep and thought.

The sidewalk stays mindful --
Witness to murmured kegs
And murdered heels,
Its quiescence reverberates
The gentle parley
Of blaring merchant loons.

The boulevard refuses
To choke in darkness.

My mind will wait until
The clamour of morning
Shatters this weighted gloom.
return to me, that gentle place
settled in contentment of the
who that i am and the
all that is

trace me back
to the eternity of now
spiral me forward
to the forever of

I don’t usually rate flowers as a gift.
Somehow the words on the tag never match
the message they’re sending.

The tag read "Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby boy”
The message was What the hell were you thinking?
A baby at your age! Life as you know it is over.

The tag read “Wishing you luck and happiness in your new home”
The message was I wouldn’t live there if you paid me.
Lock your windows and don‘t make friends with the locals.

You get the idea.

But this time there is no tag.
He’s just given me a good old fashioned, honest, upfront
I wanna get into your knickers bouquet.

And I'm thinking **** it, why not?
Corrupted by the polution we visualise through our television screans.

Acting out sin as life because of the stage of immorality this world is in.

Exchanging love for lust because of the confusion soap dramas and movies bring.

Having unlawful urges convincing us to sin cause of the ****** they are said to bring.

Unknowingly chasing hell because it is hidden by short skirts and alcohol, the pleasures we indulge in.

Dieing every day.

Sining cause we know no other way.

Truelly all man have gone astray.
