They say you hurt
The ones you love
The most.
I wonder how true
That must be.

I can't even bear to think
Of hurting you.
Yet you give out hurt
Like its a hobby.

With all the pain
You've put me through
You must love me
More than I could ever
Love you.
i walk alone again tonight
-
together
with my thoughts
my life
a wondering wanderer
whistling but a whisper
of secret confidence
up a downtown street
-
i remind my mind again
of strong candles soaking
through powerless nights
shadowed cards flickering
quick across the carpet
by the stair
diluting gold
that is her hair
a brush of liquid silk at night
a blade of laughter
loud and clear
-
but sharp loose wind is pushing through
my paper jacket wet and torn
walk faster now
to move the blood
toward my bed
waiting and warm
away from memories
passed on
to dreamless sleep
where wonder dies
leaves forever
with her life
-
i walk alone again tonight

I sit and weep for the lost years
For all the tears I shed for you
My family you may be but I can only give up
On you, you scream and run and fight and all I can do is watch..
I pray for you to unknown gods.

Antelope
Her hair smelled of the sweetest fruit and fell on snow white skin
Her lips he wanted to devour, they were so soft and thin
He gazed into her eyes so blue; like deep caves of sapphire
And saw her soul so pure and true, dancing deep inside her
She gave a coy smile, his heart skipped, a beat never returned
She felt his joy envelop her, and of his love she learned.
She threw her arms around his head and laughed a seraph's song
She gazed intensely through his soul and then their loves were one.
As my eyes settle
upon my one
luminous flower
The light of its flame
burns, as my only desire

What you see as faults
or a rip in your petals
Simply bring to my lips
and make it sweet
like honey and wine

My soul's pollen
as I forget every other
like star dust
I absorb your colors
and trickles from your eyes

If you used to kneel, pleading
with heaven too many times
Look into my eyes
as I kiss
the scars on your knees

If you still remember rain
open yourself for me
My soul will kiss yours
as our passions release
one by one, every pain
