My Minds Scenario

I write because the moments right
A write to heal my soul
To vent all of my frustration
And to clear out some room to grow

I’m passionate about the way I feel
When I relinquish my control
It lets me hold on to something real
And embrace my pain and sorrow

If I hold on to it for too long
I start to feel real low
I need some way to release it
And to let my feelings show

Some people look to self medicate

But I’m not going down that path

So I write down everything I think
To help learn what I don’t already know

I’m driven by your beauty
My engine running red
Shifting gears to reach the max

Waves crash against the oceans shore
The sound as such, it leaves you wanting more
Powerful, not unlike a lions roar
That draws you in, too hard to ignore
We value it’s serenity, it’s beauty, and allure
It’s in our very nature, a connection to our core
It’s intriguing enough, that we feel we must explore
All that it contains, even what’s on the ocean floor

It was a peculiar color
An ominous hue
A painful assertion
Of black and blue
I was enlightened and frightened. What was I to do?
What’s this odd color that had become misconstrued?
So I wiped it away and returned it to you
With a new baby blue on the soles of my shoes
But you didn’t accept it

A multifarious of options
Evaluating each
Climbing up the ladder
