Eternal
War is profit full stop.
Let’s get it straight and start from the top.

Who are we fighting? What do they wear?
People who live in caves and don't have life fair
This is the enemy of us all, really?
Blowing up city buildings from mountains easily
Our soldiers searching rocks in a far off place
Looking for an enemy that has no face
Financial overlords from across the sea
Learning early that war is profit and a guarantee

An event, then a call to arms will be heard
As soon as the building’s in New York were disturbed
Terror spreading across our great nations
We’re under attack, we’ve been threatened, our families foundations
Fake reports painted to portray
Confusing leaders into mistakes of a massive way
Intelligence agencies with links with the banks
Just to raise funds for more missiles and tanks

Iraq, Afghanistan, pipelines through the Caspian Sea
Establish bases and destabilise the Middle East
Then the big one, there’ll be no choice
They refuse to reform claims a muffled CIA voice
That’s it, they’ve ignored our instruction
Time for democratic war, oil and destruction
Turning children into terrorists for decades to come
An eternal war, good for a few and profit for a hidden some.

Through media hysteria people will cry
‘We want blood, revenge, the enemy must die!’
Funding war by borrowing from the bank
As we pay for death through some awful tax prank
The evil distain of the cancer man must be reined in soon
Or the earth and the average man will all be doomed
They laugh at our boys searching in caves
As they sit back sipping whiskey at the Bohemia parade

South America, South-East Asia, now Arabia
Is there anywhere left?
The element across our shores will not quit
Their lifestyle too much to sustain fit
Their currency shrinking, the banks desperate
Robbing honest American homes to address it
Carving a war path for far too long now
****** and death acceptable as long as profits grow

and I care not who makes its laws.”

Counciling
We need to organise a meeting
So we can discuss the previous meeting
Concerning the timetables of meetings
So we can begin this year’s diaries of meeting in full!
But should we have a meeting to decide all
these meetings before we begin deciding at all?

Said the council official who was avoiding the issue
dreaming up ways to fill his diary for the year.

The Dust Print
Art, writing, building, politics?
Please tell me of more?
Fighting soldier’s forgotten
Dying in strange lands before

Legacy and trace
Printed word, picture and death
Heavy is the relationship between the two
We remember some people from the past but never you

When all is said and done
Your bones are dust the worms have fun
What will be left in trace and view?
Of the unknown grain of sand that was once you.

Banded Men
Soldiers, fighters, labouring men you have no chance
Who will defend our lands at a glance?
When the soft liberals and politicians fail hand in hand
They turn and force you to defend the land.

They can’t let you get rich, who will fight? Who will toil and labour?
Giving you just enough benefit to subdue and keep favour
Tax increases to keep you in class and at your level
God forbid the rich would turn and face the earth’s devils.

So stiffen your upper lip, man up and except your place
Otherwise our overlords will jettison you into outta spaaaaaaaace!!!

WWI High Command - 4.8.1914
How can we do it?
We line all our men up in straight lines
we make them walk through three foot of mud and mines
towards positioned machine guns through fields off lead.

How many men can we **** in four and a quarter years?
Ready steady go!
allied soldiers killed: 1,000,000 + RIP hero's forever

Phar to legal
Marijuana negates thousands of chemically made drugs
There’s no real reason for the prescription bug
The pharmaceutical industry is big and vast
And provides much tax for politician’s tasks
Is this the reason **** is illegal?
Because it cures more illness than drugs made legal

A ‘NO’ day!
My editor says I must justify my poems to the left
But this challenges my rebellious side bereft
I stopped smoking before the bans were in-forced
Then started again in defiance of course

Is it just me who doesn’t like conforming?
Isn’t life otherwise just really boring?
It’s being told what to do all the time at work and play
I’d probably be a good boy and conform if people didn’t always....
just have to say.

Forgiveness
The priest preaches proudly, ‘Now is the time for forgiveness!’
It’s only been two days later what’s he saying?
284 people dead from a Red surface to air
Falling from the Ukrainian sky bodies of despair
Children, Mothers, Fathers, Husbands, friends and wives
Families in far-away countries cry
As bank cards are rinsed and possessions taken
Last belongings burnt final memories forsaken

And Gods speaker says we must forgive them already?
Is he joking? What’s he been smoking? Something heavy!
Should we forgive the murderers and takers of innocent life?
Should we forgive the solider who fires off wild?
Should we forgive him when he shoots your family?
Should we forgive him when he shoots your friend?
Should we forgive him when his gun points at your head?
Should we forgive him when he’s shot you dead?

Mother Croatia
She held me so tightly for thirty eternal minutes
Without pause she whaled and screamed for her dead son, my best friend
My shape was the same as his, maybe my smell
Did she think I was him?
She tightened her grip sobbing and crying
I felt the water of her tears soak through to my skin
The longest half hour of my life

*ankers
I would like to string all bankers up the nearest tree
Conning the public for years then given our money for free

I would like the bankers to experience severe dental pain
Maybe attach a rope to their feet and pull them behind a train

For their unscrupulous demeanour, disposition, debauchery and dispensation...
they deserve the spinal column removal and vasectomy operations.

Man 2014
We've just done what we've been told to do, be a good boy go to school
Go to sixth form college, have you got the knowledge?
NO! You must spend fifteen thousand pounds and more
It doesn’t matter that you’re very poor
Only then will you be allowed to train
And perhaps obtain a slightly bigger brain.

Don't stress, its only money you don't have
Don't worry it WILL end in a job
Are you sure? Of course we are told
Don't be silly go to uni and let your life unfold!

Ten years later with no job and massive debt
Call centre jobs only last for six months so here we sit
Why are we here? What’s our purpose?
We are young men with nothing to drive us.

Let us make things again, put us in the Army
Let us be head of the family.
We don't know our place any more
We're lost without meaning
Lots of men standing around idle
Doing nothing just leaning.

Planet London
Northern, Eastern, Western and South of our land is in great trouble
There's nothing to make, craft or do, jobs falling by double
We've lost all of our skills, mines, industries factories
None of the closed business will ever move back here

We were living the high life with Blair and his magical funding
Unaware the ground was falling beneath us and crumbling
Conditioned in good times and taken for granted
Now the shock is too much to handle

All prices up! Minimum wage no longer exists
European competition has seen to this
Competing with ex-slave labour
Who are prepared to work for peanuts and good favour

Tories fooling, ‘Ha ha there is no North and South divide’
While hammering the poorest, robbing us of all remaining pride
As he stands in Teesside he thinks it’s the Tyne
What hope does the UK have with such ignoramus Tory crime

With no hope of work futures look grim
Once happy people now stressed to the brink
We watch and listen about the mythical recovery
I think to myself, *‘London must be some far away country!’

— The End —
