In the months of white illness spread
Cold and cracked insides matched the frost bitten leaves
Unknown sickness, later discovered as Crohn's Disease
Froze me to my bed
Unable to melt until the following spring

Still I live with ice in my veins
My timing is almost as perfect
as the broken glass
that lines my cracked feet
tired from walking
running, leaving
It'll be worth it
But my timing is almost
as good as that lie
that spoils my tongue
tired from saying,
"It's a big change. I'll
be                        fine."

Read my lips
feel my word's
know that I care and life will never be fair
my massage is so simple
loving you was dream
was like chilled playing in the rain
like blood ruing in vain
but not all we dream we can gain so again
read my lips
feel my word's
when I say goodbye , when I love to cry
don't you wonder why
maybe that my Sacrificere
read my lip's
and feel my word's
I don't
Miss
Those
People
Who'd
Put you
Or myself
Down
But
At least
Now
I can
Prove them
Wrong.

my body has never felt so heavy
my skin has never been so hot
it takes effort to climb just a few stairs
and when I lie down,
it's like I'm sinking into the bed below me
too heavy to move
too hot to move
I am burning away like coal
but I'm not getting any lighter
