A rolling landscape
So much distance
Between my past
And my future
Jacobo Raymundo Feb 2013
Paradoxical split between the worlds in which I inhabit
Space and time discontinuum
For which art thou represent?
Nonsense you buffoon!

Insanity, sweet sweet insanity
Chill my bones yet warm my heart
Unorthodox orthodoxy with power
Eat thy young

The void always welcome weary travelers
Yet travelers that embrace the void
Are no longer travelers
For we love and loathe our void

Loving and loathing
The story of my passing through time
Completely unfinished
Yet left resolved

What is it that I speak of?
I sincerely wish I knew
I am only a medium
For the being inside of me

Is that not what we all are?
Just bodies withering ever so slightly
Whilst our souls remain forever youthful?
This life can make your soul grow old as well

Or is life an act of duality
In which we sleep at night
So that our souls can show us their lives
And awake to show our souls ours?

Nothing makes sense
It isn't supposed to
That's why there is faith
Whether in nothing or everything

I am nowhere yet everywhere
A tiny speck yet everything I've ever known
I am a clown confused in a circus
Switching realities, or rather fantasies
This odd piece is a result of my utter confusion with what is going on in the world around me and my extreme inability to make sense of any form of thought

When I look into your beautiful emerald eyes
I can feel love reciprocated upon my heart
I can see a coastal sunset, easing all of our pains
A calm salty breeze ruffles your hair
As we cross the white sand, hand in hand
Serenity washes over our souls
Once lost, but found with each other

But then I step back
And I look at you not into you
And I see turmoil and pain
Stress and disturbance
Why can't you look into my eyes
And see the same as when I look into yours?

We love each other
More than words can ever express
Three simple words with such boundless meaning
I love you

I can see it in your eyes
You put on such a pitiful disguise

I can hear it in your laughter
We're here for happily ever after

I can see it in your smile
Don't you wanna stay a little while?

I can feel it in my soul
My heart needs your control

And I can feel it in your soul
You love me as I do you
Just a simple poem about what I see when I look at my beautiful goddess
Jacobo Raymundo Jan 2013
Write my name in blood on your walls
Bask in all its glory
Take it all in
Now burn your wall

You don't even deserve to see it
You deserve nothing
Other than to watch me and my goddess
And melt in your own envy
Jacobo Raymundo Jan 2013
Moaning cadavers tug at me
Watching me flounder around their grasp
My only goal is to flee

The sun fades away
And the dead come to life
This is no place to stay

The moon and the stars
Are non-existent, no hope
Not even the darkness can cover my scars

But there is a power within
I see her face and push through
I want to see her at the end

Oh and I can see her face
It's so clear in my dreams
Whilst I drift among empty space

The tunnel slowly fades to dust
The light shows once more
To find your love is a must

And here I stand
Looking into your eyes so beautiful
Just as I had planned

The Valley that lays behind me
Is in my past, now entirely defeated
And I'm glad you could find me

Bleed
              Bleed
Drip Drip Drip
Let it all out
Bleed the pain
Do not feign
Its all real
Yet so surreal
Pain, goodbye
