The sunrise,
The rain,
All the things,
That you have changed,
Red and grey,
A perfect sky,
This is you,
In my eyes

Emptiness,
A pain you do not know,
Incessant sorrow,
Cut so deep,
Bleeding life,
Consuming reason,
Tainting hope,
Buried so close,
To the surface,
Yet so intagible,
Just beyond reach,
Hollowness,
Forever aching,
Like scars on once torn skin,
This is emptiness

Sometimes,
I stop to watch,
The sunrise,
And I believe,
For a moment,
I don't feel empty

When I close my eyes,
The rain falls,
Drenching the sky,
In grey,

I breathe,
Like I have a reason,
To live,

I'm not alone,
I dream,
I'm not broken

The seasons changed,
Yet I always stayed,
The same,
But this time,
As winter settles,
The sadness fades away,
Only the emptiness remains

My scars define me,
To the world,
Forever marking,
The emptiness,
But what defines me,
To you

My dreams fade,
In the rainfall,
Like old chalk and dust,
On the sidewalk,
Bleached and bleeding,
Empty colours,
Slipping into grey
