Just be still,
And we shall observe,
The tragedy,
Oh, the tragedy,
Of this beautifully cruel world

I'm just looking,
For something; someone,
Worth looking for

I don't want to talk,
Not now,
For words cannot define me,
They are useless,
Incapable of capturing this emotion,
Like a desperate child,
Unable to hold the startled butterfly,
In his too eager hands,
So don't speak, Love,
For a tender, prolonged embrace,
Gives far more comfort

Summer,
It doesn't feel like Summer anymore,
The wind is ice cool,
The clouds grey and threatening,
No glittering leaves,
Nor bird-songs,
Because Summer's gone,
Without you

So consumed, am I,
By pain,
A pain so strong,
It grows real within,
Aching inside of me,
It over-whelmes me,
Distracting me from thought,
Taking me as it's victim,
Destroying what's left,
And leaving me an empty shell,
Cast off and useless to the world

If you believe that word called "love",
Even when it's whispered in your ear,
So honest and gentle,
It'll blow your world to pieces,
'Til you bleed over the sunsets,
With that word like broken glass,
Cutting through your open heart,
The only love you've ever know,
Only aiming to let go

Tears fall like dew drops in the morning,
Love recalls the early hours of the dawning,
Of the fire,
In our hearts,
In our eyes,
As we lost sight of what we've won,
In our minds,
In our souls,
See how far we've come to fall,
How far we have to fall,
We have to run,
To hold on
