Wanted this but denied hooked still

So many bad drivers on the road

Could've caused an accident
Driving like a maniac stuck in traffic

Swerving back and forth
No regards for others
Safety or well being

From a social butterfly
The heart of the party now dull person
Never fit in right away feeling pressured
Not seeking approval of others
Use to being alone quiet time at home
Don't care to be around alcohol
Protecting this heart sober living
Always looking in prefer to stay out
Once inside so much emotion to hide
Not sure how to act or behave
Not trying to cause a scene or act up

The thoughts are gone
Trusting in a higher faith
Can't do it all without believing
The internal struggle lifted away
Letting go of old focused on new

Invited out feeling under pressure
Went out before guilted like it's wrong
Able to do it freely now not interested anymore
Given a recommendation letter nice things said
Rather then give the hard worker away
Hire him reward his hard work and efforts
Staying loyal and true going away feeling blue
Hard working doesn't mean illegal
Sometimes going the extra mile means caring
Hard to trust not able to rely on anyone
It's better to get things done be the one
Don't leave it for the next have self respect
Take pride in work such a lost skill

Being called a hack threw things off
It's all that's know been doing it for years
Can't live without it a pen in the hand
Feels right more than anything else going on

Grew up not able to show feelings easily

Asking personal questions to improve
Haven't had a close friend for a while
