Everyday
No matter the fight
However the mood
I tell you so much
Power is lost from the words

A romantic, sometimes
Broken hearted
But always, falling
To bloodied knees
Touching your face
A kiss, my love
To your lips, my Love

Dreams of your smile
Your softest touch
Just holding your hand
Touching your side
And pulling you close

I love you
Like the ocean
Can't control the dam
Like the highest mountains
Stretching for the skies
Like the moon and the stars
No heaven without you

Beats of my heart
A dance of the soul
Moon song's mournful cries
I want you in my arms
Need you close to my touch

I believe in you
Bright eyes when I first asked you
To be exclusively mine
To let me be just and only yours
I held you in my arms
And held you too long
Held you too tight

I remember when I asked you again
Surprise on your face
Tear in your eye
I asked you to love me
In a field, far from the lights

There was a starry night to witness
What better honor to love
Than twinkling lights
Ask you to marry me
Vow to preserve
Promise to love
Protect and help

Sometimes we fight
Brutal passions erupt
I split and desire
To take you
And hold

Wipe away your tears
Give you comfort
Devour your fears
I am not perfect
Sometimes I fail
But together
We strive

I love you like water
Overcoming and blind
You are my heart's song
My every tide
Every desire
Ripped from my original profile: For my only Love; a letter in a bottle, letter at sea
To see without those darkened eyes, fresh
Believing in yourself, without strings
Look at the seas and find yourself
Building, creating, and doing
This is life

You can do what you believe
Not stay back, barely holding on
Feel the wind fill your sails
The fresh salt spray on your face
Taste that freedom on your lips

The allure of the sea, of flying
To go where you wish, defy the winds
All your needs met in a moment
The adrenalin of the wind in your face
Tossing your hair, chance belief

Being who you are
No one can say you are not
Either a hunter of men
Or the artist of beauty
Be that, that no one steal away

Theirs are not the wind, never to fly
To taste the sea, sail beyond the horizon
Tread not lightly on this earth
Rely on yourself, unlike minded
Laugh, with abandon, they'll see you mad

And you laugh that much harder
You'll step forth over that cliff
They shy back from
Open your wings
Glide
Winter's storm beating
Browns to grays, hammer
Snows, heavy flakes
As big as fists, fall
Like rain on tin

Winds howl, wolves on the horizon
Singing a moonsong, love sung
Through strong jaws, long fangs
Made for tearing flesh,
And death

Eerily, they pierce the night
Through even the wind
Buffeting the house
Making it creak, bend
To the forces of nature

The hearth fire blazes
Scents of meat bring the wolves
Circling the house, desire
Keeping the dark at bay
A candle the only light

Around the home, wood retreat
Log cabin, built by rough hands
Stone chimney, mortared by the same
High, two stories, strong
Not a house, a home

In the winter, he hunts with the wolves
Pays tribute; he lives in their land
They see, understand, the relationship
Keeping distance, but protecting
On coldest nights, they shelter near

The storm, tonight, lasted days
Softening resolve and infecting
The man sits by the door, bolted
He knows what's come in the night
Unnaturally radiating the cold

The wolves stay close
Inside the treeline,
Even the woods now
Harbor the blight
Too close to home

They howl, nip and bite
At each other, restless, on guard
There will be no sleep tonight
All stay awake afraid to drift
One by one, shutters close

A sliding noise, the wolves ears perk
They've heard it before, many times
But it's unexpected, not at night
Not with danger so near
Look to the Alpha

Light creases still falling snow
The door opens, the man, a rifle
That tool of men, never without
A whistle, gestures, at the Alpha
Intelligence shines in bright eyes

The Alpha, hesitates, looks back
In to the wood, that thing; things
Feeling that something is coming
Back at the man, then at the Beta
Tosses it's head, a decision is made

They go in, positioned now
At windows, one by one
Sometimes two per
They spread out
Nervous, can't run here

The door is barred once more
Lights go out, but not the heat
Ice drips, snow melts on the floors
Heavy fur not needed here
At bay, the creatures of night
When I look at your face,
I see the pain right below
Make up covers scars
only you think you see
imperfections

I see you on the verge of tears
so often, my helplessness becomes anger
You are determined to be strong
To never reach for help, and
You use this to pull away from me
I can tell from the way you breath
Your heartbeat, in your neck

I know you'll read this and think
Of running, flight, stay away
And you'll retreat, won't touch me
But I can tell, when you touch me
And your Other One does

I know you like the night
How it breathes, its breeze through trees
The sound of its creatures, it smallest creak
I see you without the moonlight
Naked, shivering, proud and fight
Its my fault you won't open,
I know this as a truth

As much as you know its not
There is something else, deep inside you, too
It'll take some time, but I believe what I am to you is true
You are the best I have met for secrets, keeping the past untrue
In the end, later, time spins, I'll be here for you

You looked at me and said,
That I write our secrets, to spread
Everyone will know, just intentions to dread
I didn't say anything, because they already know
They're all poets, like you, holy and spread

To me, I don't care, they are no one to know
So what, what they think, unless for your heart they attempt
They are not worth an audience, spectators who didn't pay
This is not entertainment, this is my heart
Absolutely and completely, open

A desperate attempt
Dramatic, singing for you
To gather you back, make amends for my part
To speak your language, so you can learn my heart
Maybe make sense, all these two years apart

But the future is more
Important to me, my life is with you
To honestly be
Because when I see you, I think
Of beauty defined
No matter your scars
No matter your tide

Those are not imperfections
Nor even bumps in the road
I accept them as 'is'
Nothing more
I want you to just open your eyes

See the future, a size
Our love as together, more us than me
Our heart, to forgive, hold and keep tight
Because that would mean, our hearts beat as one
Our eyes see us together, all imperfections made one
I would give anything for this, let you see from me
Because you are beautiful, and I want to be a part of your light
A great bubble rose
Rose, but didn't break
From the depths of the salty sea

I watched it from my sprire
As it had, every day
Rose, but never broke

Like giant fish, or beast
Pushing up from the deep
The water displaced, rose

As spectators stood
Then, daily spread norm, wain
Novelty lost, still it rose

Until all but I, left their ways
Secluded, solitary towered life
Stranded here, I watch it rose

The boats of this town
Sail around the great dome, rose
Set to fish, bring them home

But today, I saw, surprised
A horror, take ship, rose
Splintering rails, plank and souls

A creature from beyond
Nightmarish, tentacled, darkness
The sea, arose

I called for my son,
Bring warning, rose
The town, the town!

But my son, ignored
Too bothered by elderly blood, rose
I shuttered my window,

Lighning broke, blossomed
A cracked sky, rose
As the creature, turned to Bon Homme
If I told you that the sun rises with you
You would tell me that it didn't rise
The earth only rolled
If I told you the sun set with you
You would roll your eyes
'Hmmph,' your response
But I see through you

A structured reply
Your eyes dilate, your heart thumps
The smallest smile, not on your lips
But cornered by your eyes
It's a map so easily read

If I write you those words
You'll say to me, spectacular
And become a candle, light
Wax melting in to the night
Because in this real life,
You've become so hidden
In ink it's different

In life you've your shadow
And your shadow you've become real
Choosing which and how and why
It's control, like a mask, like beauty
But I don't exist for your shadow

I mention your lights
From candles to stars
In your eyes and on your skin
Your mindlight, in moonlight
Sunlight and starlight
How do you describe
Something so...

Beyond words
How do you describe
A force, but to give in
And ride, surf
It's nothing I control

When it was bad
You wouldn't give me a chance
Throw it all away
Waste another year
I asked you, pleaded

What could I do?
How could I save?
The answer was simple
Like everything else
And easy when you think
If you could do any one thing
To save who you love, what would it be?
Knock
Roll over, it's in my dream
Again
But I'm so comfortable
More, urgently
And I'm awake, again
Knock

Knock

Knock, knock
Not at the bedroom door, no
Knocking
The window is empty
My night is brisk
No wilting lovers
Tapping stones off my pane

Nope

Knock, knock, knocking
Not from the attic,
No ghostly chains in the basement
Such horrors on the tube
Frantic now, stabbing tattoo on glass
Knocking, knocking, knocking
Then, in mid tap, it stops

Silence

It's abrupt, white knuckled
I search the house, room to room
My bat, seems small in my fists
Shadows seem to move
Just behind my back
I'm never quite fast enough
But I can hear them move

But nothing

Pulling the blankets up
Rolling over again
Not entirely sure,
But there is no one
Nothing near
Scratching...

I hear

Knocking
Scratching
Knock, knock
Knocking
Scratch

I'm up
Again, again
I can hear them now
Clearly, in the night
From the house
I drain, white

The **mirror
This abandoned land
Wounded, broken and seeping evil
Crevices, from which it oozes
Crawling across the land
Seeking a foothold

It's not empty
There is just no power
Nowhere exists to help
The people are alone
No magic to stand the balance

People, live
Ragged, sometimes pitiful things
Trying to live, scrape a living
Building, hoping
Fighting back

Creatures of nightmares
Walking and crawling
Darkening the earth, skies
Massive and small
Even the insects, malice

Earthquakes shake with rage
Gods quiver in amusement
This plight, desperation
Ever seeking heroes
To beat back storms

Mountainous terrain
Fencing, create this world
Horrible stonemen hunt
Adventurous travelers
Feasting on bones

Fearsome creatures
Mind boggling porportions
Patrol the seas
Breaking the timbers
Of the most sturdy ships

Dark swamps, poison the air
Misshapen creatures
Banished from the Living Lands
Finding strength in only numbers
Desiring to render flesh

And yet, men still walk
Determined and strong
Grown hard in this land
Living and sometimes thriving
But only for a brief time

Time shunts life here
Wearing down even the strongest
Such is age, such is life
This land is hungry
And it feasts
Frozen for millennium, looking eternally over its territory
Someplace it's own, hard fought and for which many fallen, his own
A man of stone, gazes, immobile
Part of the mountain, now, to those below

Play in its shadow,
Gaze at its likeness
So similar to man
Large brow, hawked nose
A common man

Moments measured in years
Too unconcerned to bother
Throned high on his mountain
Kept to himself, memories of battles
Friends, brothers for this valley

In the valley, children play
Not concerned with a likeness
Too common to stare
Leave that to tourists
Who come and they go

Eyes shift with a rumble
Grating, smell of granite on stone
He sees soft children, not of stone
Knowing life, not hard
Not like him, of stone

Parents, families tell stories
Of the creature in stone
Eons have past, myths, legends
To scare children, laugh now,
Old widows' tales, all told

Protector of the Valley, his title bestowed
Passed from crown to hand,
From times beyond old, to seek and be told
His memory is not foggy, sharp and bold
He watches for signs, of evils still known

A rumble, earthquake, they know
Not gods of fire, nor devils below
They built houses of stone, solid and uncold
Women skitter, men more bold
Children laugh, cry; depending on delight

Small creatures take wing, a flurry of flight
Soaring through the air, not for those as he
Their moment is ignored, not the threat he seeks
But from whence they come, something astir
A rift in the ground, a creature of Below?

Buildings lean, no great such thing
Prosperity is well, good neighbors to help
A man looks upon his home
His family safe, wife at his side
He is not alone; a sound takes his eyes

The creature was large, an Elder
Beyond language and time, seeking who-knows-what-this-time
They have come and he is here this time
Again, he moves, reaches for weapons
For stone, like his hide; for earth, like his mind

Some monster, some flesh of daemon
A creature, unnatural and bold,
Ripping earth and spewing foul
Springing forth, denying safety for child and wife
In an instant, the man is alone

Unmoving for years, centuries untired, readies for war
Rock flexes like muscles, stone tightens, coiled and then unfolds
From his seat, his throne
He joins battle, swings lethal, heart cold
Elemental, Warrior-King just as old

The man, stuttered by sight, then sound, both unknown
Falls to the ground, some part of him rolls
He looks up to see the mountain
Falling down, then up, and down
Time slows and it falls on down

The King sees the soft, fleshy man
Not unlike his form, but not made of stone
Shaking the Earth, the man is no concern
Only the Nemesis, the creature that came before he was old
He meets it with weapon, violence and scorn

For a moment, the man saw the face of the mountain
Above him and cold, eyes of flint
Recognizing, but disregarding his life
It met the daemon, crushing it's limbs
Epic, fury, a fight to shake bodies of men

The creature was old, even elder to old
It cast spells of fire, brought curse to the land
******* power from life, it's nature to man
The King broke weapon, chipped fist
Losing both ground and tooth

Pulled to his feet, a neighbor drags him away
Between stone foot, and slamming tentacled limb
The great creatures smash earth, livestock as well
Together they clash, first forward then back
The mountain looks down and seems to grin

The King sees the earth and inside
On a grave he does now fight
Clenched in heavy stone fist
Forged in primordial fires
A weapon, fit for a king

The mountain slammed it's fist
Down. Into. The. Ground.
Wrist, then elbow, then shoulder gone
And the other, brought itself together
For the first time since mankind hand seen it

The soft creatures stared at him
The Elder Nemesis gathered itself
Calling its volumes to one spell
The small ones stared, mouths slack
And his fingers, at last, touched it

Half in the motion, of standing
Almost although an action caught in time
Men, and women now, surrounded by children
Who wouldn't know where to flee, stared
The Stoneman rose to his feet, great axe in hand

It was lighter than he had thought
Gripped, tightly in two hands, now
He leveled his gaze, tunneling
A spell of his own, one of fight
He spoke his words of death

The world seemed crushed, smalled to a sound
When the mountain bellowed, erupting noise
A scream, mad and angry, forced, primal
Trickling blood from their eyes, ears
Children, falling and for the frail, death

The Nemesis saw his movement
Was unfinished in either word or deed
Unprepared for violence or tool
Raised suckered limb, protect!
Sheered through, it sunk deep in to its mass

Again and again, the mountain struck
Slamming ax deep, flailing deep; madness
Bone, blood and flesh, raining down like hail
Children were picked, dead and live alike
Carried off far from this site

The creature was dead, Nemesis no more
But still he struck, drunk on action, fluid of motion
Again and again, pulping it beyond
A fury, his crown for this, soon to be spent
A lesson to be made here, Others, he suspect

Hours, the ground still shook
Days, miles from their valley homes
Weeks, they could still feel the powers to the west
No one to believe their stories
Only superstition by day, fear at best

The small ones didn't return
He pondered, again on his throne
No wonder, to witness, such an Evil
Unbridled violence, not for those
His wound would fester, he would not grow old
Feathered in song, sweet in breath
Sing to me, give grace voice
I need not hear the words
Just let me listen to your tune

Are those mocking words
Falling from your chest
Along tongue, among winds
Dancing through leaves and brush

Come hence, my window frame
I beckon, bribed with treats
A quiet audience, enraptured to you
My eyes closed; your voice is all

Imagination and term of phrase
The notes carry here and there
But never so perfect as where I sit
Hands folded in my lap

Let the notes cascade
Through dim interior sights
Brighten corners, hanging webs
Scare the shadowed bits

But my glassless pane only lead
From hence you flew now flown
The songs now ended, bereft
Sightless eyes, lids sewn shut

Spiders spin brighter anew
Shadows darker carousel down
Unseen by my eye, felt on skin
Such is life, so quiet an end

Come closer, closer now, Friend
Let me hear your sing song breath
Smell mint, wintergreen, and flesh
Grasp your hand, kiss your skin

I'll have your voice, dance
See through your eyes, drink
Hold you close, to cold skin
Give your song, love then live
"Ready..."

No time for deep thoughts
Smell cigarettes on the air, cordlite overpowers
Blood and **** and my eyes are covered
Hard drag on that cigarette

No need to wonder
Wind changes and cool on skin
Go steady as in life
Brace, go hard

Deserve this, fought back
Ten men, one bullet; good odds
And me
Always good odds

"Aim.."

Not crying, knew this end
Beginning a teacher, ending a leader
Hero, savior, soldier, teacher
Wanted

Too brave and too effective
Price on my head
Dead or alive
Traitors, died first

Choices and no regrets
Tyranny fails if given a chance
Born for this life, death
Dirt beneath my feet

Exhale, last breath
Feel the sun on my face
Think of brothers, friends
Duty to family, ideals, country

"Fire."
Love...
Walking, your gait memorizes
Not when you know it
That doesn't count
Because that's different
When you don't know

That's special
A moment removed from
History, unremembered
And is all mine, no one else's
It's not a bounce, or a walk
Almost a combination of both
When every foot touches the ground

Your eyes glisten, uncried tears
And I hope you never cry again
I've been paying more attention
Just lately, and they're so animated
All around back and forth,
But with a sort of tunnel vision
Focused, but in the past

Hands move every word
Flying across the room
Around and around,
Blood tipped nails, work words
Crafted by the sharpest rapier tongue
Building, emphasizing every thought
A crazy, flurry of words, fingers and hands

It's with every breathe you take
Every action, you flow, glow
Fingers to toes
Eyes to heels
Absolutely

And always, yes, I do
Tinted outlines brace
Succulent, wonderful smiles
From your lips, down your neck
The taste of your skin,
Eclipsed by your soft skin
Dragging my lips down
As your scent, fills my lungs

The tip of my tongue
A teasing thing, searching
Your shoulder, holding your arm
Running fingers, tracing it's curves
To your finger tips, lips lightly
On the tips of every finger
The touch of your nails

And back, along the inside of your arm
Hands run along your body
Feeling your smallest movements
And bring you closer to me
With your every move

You lean back inviting
Aroused, your slight hands pull me
To your lithe body, wasp waisted
Lips to your *******
Flicking, quickening your breath
Exploring your mounds
As you press me, guiding me

Down
Your belly button
A delicious appetizer
A tease, for us, a practice
Undoing the button with my tongue

Tight folds, drip a nectar
It's smell drifting, even as your hips
Bring me close, you're ready
And your nails, dig in to my skull
Fingers spread wide, push me
Push you up, pressing you high
Against the glass, I devour you

The lights are off and we are high
Above the ground floor
You perform for an audience
A city of eyes on us, unknowing
Except to us, you press me closer

And, on my knees before you
I worship, you twist, turning heads
Mine and yours, me to you
Your eyes out, seeing the world
Heavy breath fogs the window
And wrapping your leg around
Me, to you holding me closer

I bring you up
Your sheen, slides you up
Standing, I make love to you
******, as your thighs squeeze
Throwing your arms out

Fingers splayed against the glass
You heave against me
My hands hold your body
Pressed hard against the glass
You lose yourself, for me
After the birth of morning
The maturity of the sun
Driving the leaves to grow
Grasses, deep and green
Reaching for the warmth

After noon's heavy heat
Siesta's come and gone
Shadow's time begins
At first, a gradual pace
Deceivingly slow

They lay in wait, watching
The sun's retreat across the sky
Falling to the Earth, coming down
Loosing its power, darkness creeping
The day trying to stretch itself long

Say your prayers on heavy breath
But not for night's stare or embrace
Head for home, bar your door
Children and wives, in pantry's store
Men behind doors, cower, the storm

Rift in time, a seam in the between
Night and day, that which comes
Slips through now, gasping for air
Creatures not of the dark or of day
Only hungry for anything, scared

Twilight creatures, neither human
Nor bear, not wolf, either some
Or both, something between
Feathered, some; tufts of fur
Defying demons, angels both

The run, fearing the heavy night
Here, not for long, just to feast
Catch stray cattle, chicken or child
A raptor from the skies
Or beast jaws wide

The heat of light, retreating
Draws them forth, eyes glinting
Small, beady and cunning
Intelligent malice minded
Chittery cries before night

Tendency to violence, panic
Sometimes sheltered, closeted
Built for speed, cornered and fright
Desperate in their time
A brief interlude, nothing right

Lust for the fresh death
A ****, they'll come together
Feast, and eat in lust
Flurry of feathers, disgust
Hair and fur, they demand

Clenched knuckles, white
On stick and stone, any weapon
A man might hold, protect the home
Thicken oaken doors, seem thin
Windows boarded, watch sun demise

Gaunt cheeks show shadowed, sunken eyes
From too many hard days near end
Always hungry, fearful work, never enough time for work and sleep
Some, drunk, heavy on spices, deep drink
Seeking solace in cups, not protection in men

This village is ******, think old women
Gathered children to hem
Little enough cloth, even for them
Living rags, less human than men
Desperate eyes, from fires and then

A blow from wind, maybe spirit or sin
Hushes hearth fires, extinguishes light
Light scratches at windows, claw
Cloying smells of dirt, **** and death
Seeps through cracks to tight to caulk

A thud on the roof, steps too heavy
Shaking the dust from the ceilings
Drifting like morning fog
A silence, the moments hang
Dread, deep seated to bone

Then the frightened scurry
Talon and claws, scramble
The whoosh and flap of wing
Heavy footed bodies rush in
With the dark, something comes

The little creatures of twilight
Flitter, chittering back to whence
Leaving small tracks, slightly
Bigger than man, maybe
One carried through, kicking

Away they go, but not all
Competing with the powers
That drew forth the deep dark
Hunted like little creatures they are
They rush back, to the seam, the cold

Men, women and children
Still away they hold, another scare
Another night, breathing silent
In fear, tears fall, like horrors
Stalking the seam, in the night
All I need is to look once
A passing glance, just for me
But I pause, for you
Because I want you to know
With my eyes, that I love you
We spend so much time
Looking for the next
We forget to hold hands
Entwine fingers
Spending moments
Not time

Look in to her eyes
Spend the time
Fall in love
Again and again
Get lost in her mindlight

Feel her breath
On your skin
Her precious touch
Every moment
A momento of life

In the end
What do you bring with you
Not money, maybe not even time
You'll leave a headstone
But, just maybe, you bring the memories
Look in to the mirror
Only a little light is lost
But that light isn't lost

It's caged, imprisoned
Sandwiched between
The silver and glass
It claws out, etching
Long black scratches
On a mirror walled
Never moved, hanging

In the dark, late at night
A thump, dark noises
Under the bed, the closet
Behind the closed door
It's not all in your mind

It's that bit of light
Turned insane, trapped
So long in the abyss

That, I see as I gaze
That not light staring
Back at me
A pool of not darkness
Ethereal flesh, claws
Of light, scratching
Like a chalkboard
But on glass

That noise in the night
Reaching from the glass
Out, against the wall

It makes sense, of a sort
To reach out, break the glass
But the wall, it stops
Leaving only a scratch
Only, of course,
During the day

Dust of a hundred mirrors
Not reflecting night
Bumps and thumps
Slamming shut
And jumping
You from bed

But the light is trapped
Imprisoned, locked in
To a flesh not its own
Testing, flexing it's taloned hands
Grasping, lingering
On a silvered surface
Screams caught
Etched on the surface
Of our minds
Like the oceans
In majestic dance
To the moon
A song for itself
Moving the world

Like the grass, trees
All that grows, reaches
Straining for the sun
It's music inspiring
A sensual growth
Slowly twistin
Always upward

I love you
Hearing nothing but
Your beat, pitch and tone
I cannot stray, only one path
With you always, always moved
There are some
Who wear make up
To hide behind
Like a mask
Or to be someone their not

Some have worn it
For so very long
That they have become their mask
Or maybe the mask becomes them
Like a ritual, some pagan act
Antiqued and traditional
Some feel naked without it

But I saw you
Eyes stripped of all
No highlights, outlines or lashes
For all intents, completely naked
And behind the mask

And you were beautiful
Softest, smoothest lines
Untouched, raw and unmolested
Purest clean and untainted
And I loved you, that much more
Necklace

Slender, long and graceful
Like a swan
Bringing beauty to a head
A neck of finest quality
But looped around,
Her lace of finest silk

If you mention it
Fingertips will gently brush
Its an unconscious thing
Not a word will touch her lips
She'll walk away
Leaving you with only a glance

Her eyes don't follow
Never really there
Each step she takes
Sees her a new place
As she walks, she floats
Toes never really touching ground

Ethereal, a creature of mist
Body hidden by veils,
Nearly see-through mists
Obscuring, almost everything
Revealing almost everything
Imagination makes her perfect

Strong, long limbs
An angel's grace
But the smile's its limit
For its a demon's smirk
Which leaves
A devil's kiss

An observer might say
She was possessed
Some ancient curse
Believing her innocence
Giving benefit and doubt
They wouldn't be wrong

If you could get close
Could feel her heat
Radiating, causing heads to turn
An unnatural warmth
Fills any room
Makes it hers

And no matter how she moved
The necklace wouldn't
Never slide, never wrinkle
Such was its curse
Burning her skin
Tanning her whole

The price of beauty
Vanity, a price of youth
Perpetually, her soul's on fire
And eternally it will stay
Trapped in that jewel
Suspended between her *******
Two bodies joined
In three word acts
Painted fingers tasked
Return to dig, bite and squeeze
Large hands hold; lips kiss

Scented vanilla, sugary; sweet
Baby oil makes for slippery
Returns in and home
Filling, gasping, holding bold
Muted cries in lovers ears
Desperate, ******* and alive
Out of breath, breathe

Skin against skins
Two as one
Makes for three
Beautiful
Words
Look in your eyes
See the world
Turning beneath
The blankets
Covering us

My foot takes a step
To you, touching you
Next to me, your skin
Against mine, soft
As petals, roses drift

A rise, hard, stretching
The skin, almost painfully
The ache, desiring
You, next, now
My last

Wrapping my arms around
Encircling you, pulling
Your lips to lips
Kissing, a nibble
Tickling senses

Pulling your back
Against your head
Clasped gently in my palms
Sore, from days working
Building dreams

Our eyes open, four
Then, two and then one
Effort toward each another
But then, it's not other
It's us, no longer singularly

Entering and welcoming
Giving and taking
Given and taken
A past and a present
At the same time

Rhythmically sung,
Harmony beating
Hearts synced in
Fluttering of breath
Motions in feeling

Each against the other
Then with, at, on
Under, in, out
Off, around
Over, and

More, with fingers
Teeth, just not breaking
Skin, touching
Closer now
We ***

Clasped, gasping
Lips together, pressing
Hand grip sheets
Each other, the bed
For dear life

It begins, ending
Circling like sharks
Not apart, predators
Hunting each other
Smiles, hungry

Losing time in our
Repetitions, our hours
Drifting into ourselves
Then without separation
Passing in to each other

Asleep, between thrusts
In our arms, eyes close
Your head, my shoulder
Your body, protective
My blanket, my Baby

Our nakedness
To each other
Open, trusting
Dreaming
Together
Hours talking
Listening, sometimes crying
Maybe awkward
But needed, desperate
Not embarrassing

Sometimes what you need
Is what you can't ask for
Can't ask for yourself
You can give yourself
Completely and totally
Unconditionally, to another
But it's still not the hardest thing

To look in to her eyes, forgive her
That's easy, but
Forgiving yourself
For pushing her
Is love, hardest true
Born from the heat of hell
A smoke filled glass
Catches your eye
A reflection in perfect time
Darkens and river softened
Sharpest edges worn smooth
Once, able and tooled
Weaponry of demons
And history's schools
Now lost for a time
And razored edges soothed
Plucked from a pool
An innocent girl
Plays with it in warm sun
Soft and blended,
Dark colors spoiled
Frozen in glass
Held to the light
Just to see
She can just see through
A trick, a trap
Her soul catches
And held
Between layers
Soft colors
Almost like
Light
Shining though
To catch your eye
And tease yours,
Too
Mercurychyld
Whispering night
Your arousal is apparent
Dripping breaths upon
Children's dreams
And fearful crones

Your coming to is deceitful
On heels of sunset's demise
A leg's length, slowly falling
Against a navel background
Sparkling drowning diamonds

Listen now, to its rictus grin
Great full lips, stained dark red
Wrapped around dinners, snacks
Long fingers pick, pluck and snap
Feral jaws work, bone and sinew

Hair tussled but not undone
Not out of place, habitually hungry
Disguising true shape, lies to men
Ravenous eye shine through
Sparkling lights out of place

Not strange to be prey
To this creature, daughter of night
We've grown accustomed, lost
Finding safety in artificial light
Ever she is, on its edge

Patient and less leery,
It's not fires, our path to light
It doesn't burn, indeed it seems
She has seen, watching Children
Touch bedside lights, just off

From between floors, walls
She hides, touching, running
Long nails along the wood
Or cheeks, daring us to hide
In to the shadows, she flies

Never retreats, she is simple
Predator, there just for a bite
Distracted by another,
Potential supper, either
Staff or divide, devours

Stealing breath, stealing lovers
The cold, warm body of night
Slithers under covers, darkness
Rides bringing uncomfortable
Mornings, marks and lies

We tell ourselves bogeymen
Maybe a lover, think it was them
Long nails down backs or thighs
Asleep and dreaming, don't think
It's not possible another, last night

Her embrace took both, too many
Thinking one was another
Maybe rough, a carnival of thighs
Flesh, firm, budding and lithe
Drawing even blood in need

This is night, a creature
Between the physical states
Almost one, or another
Like between our bodies
Wrapped, each in sleep

And then, as eyelids close
That little sound, stirs
Tell yourself, no
It's nothing, just...
Anything else
The blind old man is out of his cage again
His straightjacket crumpled on the floor
He's on his knees screaming
Boney, grout shaped knees
His voice, mewling, coarse

From the stains on the wall
Once freshly painted
Bloodied, broken knuckles
Tattooed their harsh sounds
Spraying gnarled fingers
And twirls, to landscape
Unpleasant worlds

His chains, now unlocked
Not smashed, shattered but worn
The jacket was removed from
Boney, sticking beaten shoulders
Sticking wrinkled, age born

A moment between breaths
He screams once again
Crying out for wonder
The words unsaid
If there was a window
Not just a door
Would that he be fed?

The door's hung open
Freedom, from his punishment
Complain about injustice
But slaved to blown out knees
Taunting shadows bleed

I might have pity, but no
A small broken man, created
But he's not blind, self denied
Just to scared; open your eyes
Look and see, the way is clear
It's all in your head, stupid fool
The war is over, history's written

Leave over your opinions about right
The victim's plight, not my time
Nor even yours, stupid lies
Go live your horrid life
Nothing from me

I have my own, beautiful life
Injustices of the past play no part
I'm not concerned with history's specifics
And neither are you, not really
You only want for yourself
Looking for handouts
Whining about fair

My hands are worn, torn
A lifetime's hard work
My back is tired
My knees are sore
I come home tired everyday

I don't care about what you think
I'll protect what's mine
Not give it away
For the sake of the dead
Not either for those that just sigh

It's not about you, it's about my house
My family and our home
You ask for stuff and take from them
You say it's fair, but not to me
Not my children or my gorgeous wife
I've worked my life,
Not you for me

So stuff your share
What you think is fair
Indian heritage and broken knee
It wasn't me, it wasn't mine
I'll not share your burden

If you want tears, then cry
You want more than you have
You can do as I
Work real hard
From dawn and after dark
Get what you make
Not ask for mine
From out of the rain
Like a pinwheels in the wasteland
Water soaking up the sun
Careening, spinning away
Still leaving the unbroken skies

Splintered, inspiring rainbows
Donuts of fragmented lights
Misted drops in motion
Spun, shattered diamonds
Little tricks of stars

A kaleidoscope of mirrors
Each of mystical themes
From sky to barren earth
So short in flight
Hearty in life

That tremendous fall
Of a single drop, from heaven
So far to break, always apart
Explosion of color, to earth
To sing, eventually, again
All I want
Is to build you up
Heal your soul
Bring you peace
Lift you up
Feel your love
Kiss your lips
Face, hands and feet
Cup your face
Stroke your hair
Keep you safe
See smiles on your face
Protect your life
Die in your service
Live for every moment
Just for your touch
A look, a glance
I love, my Love
Only you
Just only
When you look to the pretty lights in the sky
You'll see all the reds, oranges, yellows, and blues
Galaxies spread out, floating
A spinning waltz, coordinated, gravitational
Nonlinear on strings, time infinite

Wish upon all those stars
Colors I can't even see
Let them have their partners
Relationships into themselves
Numbers stretch patterned lines

See much further than the naked eye
Colors don't matter, neither their cries
Epic majestic, eternal blending
Shifting skies, beaches, oceans
On alien planets, in our skies
Count the stars and their parts
Every particle, piece, elemental tie

Look much further, with your ears
A musical hum, RF bending tie
Circling waves, scattering dashes
Invisible stories, forever
Building rhythm, spicing the waltz

Taste true love, sweetest
Thirst, hunger, and peace
Encompass emotion
Eclipsed release
Hold back the awe
Utilitarian focus, belief
See time complete

This is
I love you,
three worlds
Incompletely
But neat
Because I love you this much
See my soul
Look through
My eyes, see
Depth and love
Being my arms
Wrapped around
Warm yourself
By the fires
Beating my breast
Playing music
A soundtrack
To our every
Moment, falling
Into each other
Again, in love
Tangled, twine
A knot, tied
Never to be
Unfound
Look to me
As I
Look to you
And our
Hands touch
Lips kiss
Eyes meet
And are
Never
Alone
Watching the beach
Wander away
Wishing for more,
Than this silence

Only the waves
One by one
On grains of sand
Erasing everything away

How does the sun?
Horrific in stained sky
Honey canvases dreams
Drifting across skies

Romeo saw the truth
Revenged upon his soul
Rattling cans down stairs
Falling, tumbling down, ever

Indigo, reds, all bruised
Into full sails, storming
Ink stained finger tips
Pushing little ships
When she walks
Something happens
It's in the air
How she moves it
Or it around her
Maybe it's her aura

But colors seem brighter
And if she walks across the grass
It's not just greener
It leans toward her
Like they confuse her
The sun shines less brighter
It's shine more just a shimmer

Child-like, innocent
It's a game she plays
Where she says something
But she knows different
Not sure if it's cute
But if there's a laugh,
She'll second

Much of life is fames
Who knows who
What is slimmer
Not for her
Just simple

I love her
Innocence
Her beauty and simmer
(I wish she wouldn't)
Locks of black
**** akimper
Gemini, two all looking at one

A May's chyld, through
Skipping for sake
Lost on purpose
Perfectly happy
Grass too long

Here I know better
All beneath the lake
Her beauty's her mask
Not quite acting
But not true
Diverting attention
Skirting the questions

Not wanting to answer
Every answer askew
Not the question
But an answer for you, man
Only to find, men don't care

Now when one does
She's forgotten the test
Lost, too many not to care
She cringes behind
Soft, big brown eyes
I love yous and kisses
And hugs that hide

Maybe she knows
That this is real
Her heart is safe
No retreat
Always
Real
Notches, lines, and curves
Leaving holes, missing parts
Looking for pieces, in places
People, to fill gaps
Persons to flip, perhaps

Find one, almost a match
Let them be this,
Force them to fit
Oh, don't fit?
Get a hammer

Pull your hair
Gnash your teeth
Tear your nails
Stub your toes
Bust you funny bone

Look all over
For that perfect piece
All look the same
Maybe, a bit different
I have to admit

Eventually, a simple plan
Systematically, try them all
Eventually, you have two piles
The ones you tried
And the ones you don't

Then, out of the blue
The piece is in your hand
Maybe you had to turn it
Or maybe it was just right
In either case, there it is

When you have it
There is no reason
Try the rest, the untested
Should be forgotten
They're not worth your time

That one piece, special
Completed the puzzle
And it meant the most
Because she was
The hardest to get
Animals know the sanguine moon
The prey remain burrowed
Under thick brush, a heavy toll
Thickets, filled with skittish deer
Big brown eyes scan, fear filled holes

Predators, ending the circle of life
But not tonight; tonight they'll wait
They glance, repeatedly to the sky
Not directly, but nervous for dawn
Tomorrow's quite a better day to dine

None of that loudness
No insect noise, or chirping birds
Almost a eerie silence like
When the forest forgets
An invader expects fight

Hanging loom, red cast rays
Piercing through thick clouds
Bringing dark shadows to life
Twisting trees to creatures
Forming creaks to growls

Nothing but imagination to frown
Distractions, bridging minds, all
This deep red moon, really calls
Something from the corner of the mind
A creature of thoughts, manifested

It reaches out with lightest touch
Mind to mind, fostering fears
Linking nightmares, making light of sin
Turning brother against brother
Friend to fight best friend

Even the forest creature's fears
Manifest in to human minds
From the nervous predator
To the skittish, cowering prey
People propelled, a loss of mind

It hangs high, that red demon
Strong for feeding time
But the moon wanes
Red brings to fade
All have their time
I see you, I watch
From the corner of my eye
Watching you play,
Drawing, coloring
Lost in your images

You make me feel warm
In my heart; happy in my mind
Beautiful, hair cascading
Down shoulders and back
You are in your place

I love you
And everyday it grows
Seeing you happy
And by your side
Watching you grow
Her voice was poetic, such a bard may be
From my half drunk haze, I wandered
Looking up, she wasn't much a girl

She was tugging at sleeves, begging a scrap
A tale she spoke, of tears and madness
Bending any ear, that a bit might try

Throughout the night I puzzled, pieces
Of stricken towns, all easterly
Her father sickened, a cousin liken

The story beg curious, draining my enibe
Time wandered, much as patrons do
The little girl was found, by my side

Tossing her gold, she began
But to my sober eyes, she cringed
For her story, more than passing;

(She began)

Of her life, when cornered
I wanted it in whole, not beggary
Heir to dirt, spoken in small words

It was true, witnessed event
Beyond her small mind, driven slightly mad
The story twisted, tangents borne by emotions

It crept through the village, she lived
Affecting old and young, alike
A plague of the mind, before the body

Those slim recovered, as she was one
Say nightmarish creature, devoured the sea
Looming and tentacled, shelled crowned but flesh

Pillaged her mind, linking to others
Voice minds so loud, drowning her screams
Others clawing, burning their ears; carving flesh

Murderous intentions, toward husbands and wives
Children flailing, glimpsing lives to come
Wailing, the chaotic violence of the flesh

Slowly at first, the story was drawn
In her little voice, lost its pan
Confession came, through her tears

Sins not yet committed, a life hers to be
Memories of pain, unbroken fate
Suffrage of life, before ones age

I sipped rough mead, ordered food for her tale
Half listening to story, feeling the looming
A creature seeing us, omniscient from her eyes

She went on for hours, spent
Others draped, across table and chair
Unconscious from sleep, or dark in drink

On and on, the story unfolded
This shadowy entity, closer for sure
It's name unspoken, but knowing me here

The key (she said), it needed a door
It said, spokeless to her mind
And the tale, must be told
One by one, individual then group
Faces look up, shine to the sky
Elation rippled, and the town shuttered

A horrible creature, stood once more
Stepping from the sea, building beneath foot
Timber to toothpick, stone ground to sand

It stretched, edge of horizon to edge
Wing tips ripped the sky, lightning crashed
It's eyes, madness dripped from dark orbs

Claws tips fingers, hung on heavy arms
Muscles grew and gathered, ignoring effort
As it dragged tails, seaweeds barnacled and old

It had come to Bon Homme, as legends foretold
Villagers succupiants now, of purest joy; driven mad
Tearing at their hair and flesh, screams announcing its rebirth

It cast its eyes west, as if it's gaze focused on a desire
And it's head turned, toward sea once more
Almost reluctant to leave its womb, cold embrace

It's mouth bellowed, no earthy sound
Tentacled fingers around its mouth, stretching; writhing
That sound, not heard but shattering minds

Eyes began to bleed, then run down
Ichor down faces, ruined with black
Ears drained, sick yellow

One by one, individual then group
As this God strode, once more
Dropped, lifeless bodies shone
Lithe of body, twist and perform
Narrow waisted wasp
Flit your wings
Shimmer like smoke in light

Golden skin cascades
Dancing across muscles, move
Longest dark hair, trailing
movements, round and round

Seductive eyes,
See but never meet
Hips grinding Spanish beat
Toes spin, dance the heat

Hot, humid in the night
The audience sweats
Drops drip, for her
Soaking the wheat

Dance, snake dance
Find meat to eat
Show strength, fuel
Slay witch

Dark stones cage your floor
Keep you where
There, there, and here
Sing, lusting unveiled desire

Fingers bleeding
Decorating, pushing the air
Falling on blind eyes, deaf ears
Only not to see, or hear

The wind plays your music
Drums in the still trees,
Rocks split in the night
Beating rain begins to pour

Thunder pounds to your whip
Lightening from your eyes
Rage shaking, sensual beast
Focus, grinding dance

Light on foot,
Bent at knee
Arms out flung
Weaving hair, she

Around the tempest
Shaping storm
From singular dance
To eat men's hearts
An accursed soul
Glances to the land
And staggers onward
Past the broken bridge
To that silent land

Forgotten land, empty
Even birds give wide birth
An eerie silence ****** at the air
Although even sound retreated
Clouds, frayed even, as they passed
Often times, bringing a slight rain
Not enough to bother, just annoy

The bridge was, at one time
A roman thing, arched and strong
But time had broken it's spine
Bringing pocked and rain spots
Driven deep, ripping mortar from stone
This poor gateway, spanned
A chasm far above glass broken rock

Rumored deep inside, lost for ages
Secreted away, a fortune of treasure
Of a forgotten time, remains unfound
Many an adventurer sought
This silent land

But Death stalks here
She brings all her chosen
To lay in in unmarked graves
Too many to show much
Only that of turned earth
Stretching from horizon and further
This was her place

From a distance you might see her
Striding casually, a sensual beauty
Not a hair out of place, hips dancing
Walking, the land drowning sound
Holding it's breath lest she notice

The soil has a stillness to it
Footprints fading even as they're made
Even though it was rich and dark
Moist between her toes
Undaring to ***** her feet
Her eyes fixed, a destination
Her path is straight, unconcerned

Tearing your eyes away
You notice that the land bends
To both accentuate her curves
And stealing notice from her
A trap, because she will notice you

She points, you think
Not at you, but you know
She has chosen, she has seen
You are not welcome
Her voice makes no sound
But she speaks and you hear
Melodious and enchanting; silent

A step, a foot betrays you
Before you know it's your own
A second, before you can stop it
The land has you, brings you to her
Sinking as you go, silence overwhelming

She speaks, your sins; triumphs
Not judging, merely reiterating
Telling a story that cannot be heard
Justifying your place here
Down you go, dissolving to earth
Until you look up at her
Face level with her feet

Still you sink, but she bends
Almost to pluck a flower
But her graceful finger tips your chin
She leans forward, lips to kiss
And planted, you dip, at last, below

There is nothing to hear, this land sings
But the sound is in knowing
Not the be heard; only for her
Does it's voice project
You realize yours has joined the chorus
You call to her, wanting to feel her step
Wanting only her kiss once more
Darkness holds the silence
The abyss has been staring
Not beckoning; apathy
Such is our worth
Just stardust in the wind

Swirls, a song doesn't sing
Leaves fall with only a breath
Crickets mate, but not chirp
Loose floorboard move
Squicklessly beneath feet

Instruments play furiously
Pages are turned, flipped
Orchastrated harmony
A crowd plays for a crowd
Applauding in silence

An accident in time
Cars flip, moving slow
Horrifyingly in frame
Metal ripping flesh
No one says a word

Clouds hang dark, heavy
Leviathans crisscrossing the sky
Lightning flashes battles between
Expecting thunderous booms
That never come, still landing

One of millions, upon millions
Spinning around stars
Flinging dust here and there
A roller coaster crashing
Giving voice to the noise

Insects on a planet's bowl
The sky, heavens well above
Aren't not listening
They simply are working
Spinning threads from lives

Ants don't worry the clouds
Climbing over themselves
Concerned only with their bits
Digging and building, constantly
Never looking up, nary a sound

Planets collide, building rocks
Striking comets from dust
Gases drift, twinkling bits
Orbits decay and sway
From holes, explode

Just floating in the sea
Maybe my hair drifts
Like my thoughts, or bits
Where the current slides me
Water covers my ears

I watch the bowl of the sky
Laying on, in its marble
As it rolls down a slow drain
In to a ball of burning fire
On the outskirts of silence
Silver coated glass
Painted to see reflections
Of one's self; one's soul
But opposite, reversed

So interesting, set against itself
But so utterly, perfectly backwards
One always sees what they want to see
That perfect reflection on glass

Light goes in and is lost
Not all, or maybe it is
Even light retreats in fear
That little bit lost to the other side

Stapled against the wall
Nothing ever disturbs it
But the evidence of battles
Come with time, months and years

Scars in the silvered back
Where no fingers touch
Show something from otherwhere
Something trying, clawing

That other place, where you live
On the other side, touching the glass
Dreams are real there, cut and tear
Only your face looks back so real

Look real close at your own eyes
There is always a hint of something
Not so real, a sadness reflecting back
The reflection of a reflection

Always looking back, mimicking
Almost perfectly, never perfect
The light is never right
Around the edges, reality is lost

Just out of sight, behind that door
Nightmares lurking, unsafe, breathing
Behind your back, while combing hair
A bit of something is there

Not quite reflected back
Light comes through that glass
Bringing you through
Not letting all back

Such is life, realities
Painted silver on glass
Taking your soul
Tricks on the mind
Grown, shaped to be
A statue, only to seen
Visually yours, nothing more
Internally unreadably
A jester performing, unmoving

Inside the mind, I gallop
A secret, for you, behind closed doors
Or, at least, just out of sight
This is not for the spectators of life
This is my private world, for you

Taking, being taken
Lustful, dark desire
To see and be seen
Without judgment
Concentration, focus

The loss of self
On fire, becoming the flame
Riding emotional, physical
******, mentally owned
Owning the other

A balance in twine
Knotted, spliced together
Brought, bought, sold
Without hesitation
Drawing blood

Coated in each other
A tingle waves, builds
Forced back, anticipation
Brought again, held tight
Around the empaling spike

A release, it comes then again
Riding a wave, emotionally tied
Physically, a piano mastered
Not a slave, without one
There is no other

The wave crests, violence ensues
Assured by the other, safe
A composer of two
The body, bodies
So much more, ours

This, behind the eyes
The statue's mind
Staring out at you
The passé veil
Separates, shields

Never known
To be seen for stone
Posed and dressed
A mask, seen; controlled
Mine for them: bored

To the heart, devilish delight
Worshipping sensual curves
Thinking not that it's sin
Indulging your fantasies
Only now, made them nine
Legs crossed, demure
Sandals, strapped well
Won't come off, but
If they might,
It would hanging, playing
Gently shaking, unconsciously
Held by toes, a highly arched foot

The dress is long, fitting well
Huggy on the hips, in the waist
Showing little skin, but proudly
All the curves
Angelic

Her skin glows, like a panther
She walks, not a stride but sure
She holds her purse, her lifeline
Under one arm as she checks her phone
She pauses, thumbs come alive
Fingers strike, quick, striking, tapping
Almost a tattoo, string music

Then she walks again
The dress has colors
I don't see, all I see is lines
Curves, beauty, in stride
Appreciation of motion

She is the embodiment of everything
From one side of passion
To its extreme, like a storm
Elemental, her nature
Set to a piano's sound
Matching her walk
And her thoughts

Some might say I love her
But it's a perfect word
Too short, too simple
But any other wouldn't be right
It's no mistake being what it is

She is wearing her hair up
A ravens nest, each hair in place
Her slender, perfect neck, ****
Shoulders sway, arms too
Not a busy body, but confident
Something she doesn't, can't see
She's too close to see clear

But it's everything about her
Unconsciously, she shows
Her true self
Everyone who sees
Falls in love
Look to blue stained greys
Raise your eyes and see
A teetering balance
Between drops of rain
And clear, happy skies

Look between the clouds
See past reflections
And tricks of light
Beyond our skies
And to the stars

Hold your hand
Ground you close
As fears rise
Thrifting your own
Stifle cries

There are worlds
Beyond what you see
More than you can allow
I can't give you dreams
But show you the way
Simple wheat
Grows in
Spanning far beyond
As the eye sees

Blanketing,
Like a golden snow
Rich in color
A show of life

A reaper works
Swinging scythe
Toils in to view
And cuts deeply

A harsh work
With long days
Bringing death
So life can continue

Feeding bellies
Bringing smiles
To rounded cheeks
So life goes on
There* *I'm not alone
I'm  standing  with, not ahead,
I am *by her side
It's not the way to pilot a ship
By standing on its hull
It's AI is busy screaming
But the view from above
Is unbelievable

I found the ship, parked in my
Backyard; a thing of glory and
Invisible, at least to my neighbors
Bringing its ladder down
In silent, smooth as only a
Bullet fired could, almost fired
It was machine quick, and smooth

I'm not the type to jump
Bring conclusions
Incomplete to situations
Boring, and mundane
I'll figure it out, think quick

Invention; that's my cup of tea
Brought to me on the ship
Intelligent as it is, it's just a
Boat, big; sailing stars
Instead of seas
Between worlds
In the stars

Is it too much, having this task
Being responsible for what
It brings with it, holdings of time
Brought with the shaping of it all
I stand here to see it
Braced against the ship
It, held up by nothing at all
Clop, Shuff-clop
Worn boots worn well
Their journey, mine
This path travelled
Paved against soles

Low brimmed hat
Wraps the mind
The sun beats on it
A hammer wears it thin
Sharp eyes, peer forth

Horizen's low, scant miles
Always just too far, just too close
One step in front of the other
Home is a sort of walk
All the ceilings my stars

Scrapped leathers worn
A mess from tumbles and scars
Hair once short, now unkempt
Held back, with a short throng
Not for for naught, simple necessity

In my mind's eye, the road isn't there
The clothing isn't worn, not thin
No thought for the sun or night
Even the road, so hard,
Nary a moments thought

Thoughts stay focused
Her lips so soft, unlike the journey
Eyes so deep, refreshing pools
The coolest water; the driest day
Dramatic curves warm, coldest winter

A dry hot wind, chafe his leathered face
Any observer, wouldn't notice
Either twitch, a momentary rise
Or flinch, surprise recognized
In fact, he didn't notice

There was nothing, then or now
To distract from the path
Either paved road, or dirt path
No matter the twists or curve
Nothing to lose his way

There is one end, for him
Maybe two, but that's no concern
Just her, and by her side
Always looking, just to find
Another stranger, to share the ride
Making me freeze
A beauty, simple; uncontrolled
Looking infinite

Stars above, stop their spin
Faded, dimmed, paled to you
For all that, my Love

Never shadows, nor lies
A lightning's wicked strike
Leaves me in awe, encased

Time stands; rapture until
My heart returns: beating so slow
Nothing else matters: heaven
All the moments
