Asleep, your touch sparks arousal
Brings, sparks, kindling fire
Carries, your desire
Deeper to the night
Embrace, sultry words whisper
Fingertips grace, tighten
Gifting life, hardening
Hands explore, so soft
Into and out, dreaming flight
Just give to me this sin
Kinship in sensual prowess
Left not to my devices
Mouthing delicate blessings
Not silent, your moans
Open, spreading for you
Pulsating bulb, dripping nectar
Quivering thighs, devour
Rapturous entry tight
Some pleasures indulge
Touch me, send me over
Undulating, spinning for the edge
Vicious nails, like teeth
Wanton desire show the night
X rated, our bodies only
Zebra stripe across my back
Lazy days bring casual dreams
Warmth of you, next to me
Stirring slightly, tucking in
Your breath, a gentle snore
Here and there

Sunlight presses in
Bringing the day
And a press, busy later
But right now
You're in my arms

Holding you close
A perfect moment
Follow another
Slowly ticking
Waking comes

Like rain
Gentle tapping
On a soft roof
So sheltered
From the storm
Sitting in the dark
Eyes closed not sleep
Resting the body
Expanding the mind
Bring forth the drums

Slow everything down
Crush down emotions
The dreams that might
Any legends of the mind
Tune up the mind

Focus out the body
Ignore it's whines
Feel the blood slow
Turn off its feelings
Let breathing flow

Ears pick the smallest
Another distraction
Tone it down
Relax each muscle
Spin coherency away

Focus on the pounding
Rhythmic, stone on leather
Heartbeats pound, thump
War drums of bringing
And the taking of life

Breath, set it's tempo
Draw that tarot card
See, read the choice
Picked by the drum
Of swords, a nine

Still closed, sleep not close
Bring me fire, bring fight
Give me anything, but this
See inside, see so far
Drift not, stay on track

See the ace, fill your cups
Seek wine, lose your mind
Twist that thought
Thunder drums
Lightning fast

Hear it's crack
Break the sky
Split my world
Falling with drums
Twinkling bits of star

No need to question
Blood pumps the beat
Violent, just beneath
Calm meditation
No movement betrays

Look to her
A queen, regal
In her cups
Then turn away
Apologize, haute glare

Let it fall, let it drift
No need to fight
Carry not for death
Let it out, set free
Close off emotions

Seek plenty, find peace
Find the rhythm seek pace
Don't let sword or cups
Wreck logic or spread
Bind damage to pain

Let darkness fall
Hear the symphony
Drift in silence
Float out slow
Kiss you in sleep
It matters not, these voices of ether
Spinning tales of pastures, greener
They are glitter, sparkling and worthless
Twisted advice for affections

I close my eyes to them
Althouh I cannot ignore
The damage they do
I'll breath, resent their damage

Every letter a needle, threaded
Piercing my soul, tying me
Shackling me to this cage
Creating bars, where I flew before

I can see through her eyes
See her eyeing the fence
Tempted, resenting us
Feeling caged, enraged

I want to scream
If she put that effort
To us, making our dreams
Our grass would be far greener

She burns it underfoot
Silent browning of leaf
One step further away
One step at a time
My eyes drink your curves
I love you with every inch
Smooth, embodied of grace
I watch you, engrossed
Reading deeply, a book

A touch of your hair
Gently out of place
Pushing it, fingertip
Along your skin
The look is quick
Large beautiful eyes
Librarian, framed in glass

Hair, wound, coiled on top
Almost styled, but for function
Sensual, but not designed
Black, almost blue
Against caramel delight

Painted fingers, swipe
Pause, then strike
Pointed index
Patterns of write
Quickly then pause
And quickly again
Poking almost ***

Lips pursed, tongue just a slip
Hungry, my eyes drink
Down your long fragile neck
A shoulder, almost sinful
So sensual, relaxed

Long legs, calves crossed
Thirst for your thighs
Your hips call for hands
Your sides, my grip
*******, rise, fall, breathe

Unnoticed I stand
Your teasing only to me
I want you in heat
My librarian
So deep
She's reading erotica, I know it!
There are chains and there are chains
Sometimes to bind, bound never to fly
Or to keep, stagnant in place
A soul, chained, forever staring
In to the empty of what might have been

An anchor, although a brace
Holding one to a point
A place, maybe in time
Or to a feeling, reoccurring
Reliving moments, hours or days
But an anchor is always a choice
Personal and a choice

Dropping an anchor in a life
In mine, her choice
Brings me to her sea
Turbulent seas, always a storm
Cloudy, heavy crying skies

For me, it's less obtrusive
To be what she needs, relies on
Holing her bow pointed in to the wave
Scary, it looms above: wall of water
To her, the most frightening feeling
Trusting another, Me, to hold her steady
While she works the rudder

The anchor is complete trust
Her on the rudder, me digging in
To weather the storm, the waves, the wind
Keeping us together
And trusting the chain
Crooked tree, misshapen thing
A hundred years old, if a day
Tall, but not a branch straight
It's bark at least two inches thick
But it's bite was the cloying sound

No birds hung among its leaves
If one might wrap its little feet
Too often the bird was there
Maybe it's little, tiny feet wrapped
Then it wasn't, a motion too fast to see

Bees would him around the orchard
Spring would ring the sound of blossoms
So many insects would sing along
But on the edge of the field
Would sit the tree alone, without

If there was a tree that might
Look out and see the world
And horribly seek to darken it
Even it's leaves, grown, were black
Dead before they dropped

The tree lived, broken, and older still
Birds learned to avoid it,
And insects, they never did
Creatures, feeding it's hunger
Disappeared with quickness

Then a day came, the orchard mowed
Trees trimmed, five by twelve
Blossoms sparkled across the trees
And eventually, the tenders came
To the orchard's final tree

It peered back at them, ringed
Looking at bones, a predatory cave
Even the grass didn't grow
And the tree felt at them with need
It was thick and sure it could take one

But moments went and they were far
Just beyond reach and just too many
They looked, unsure of life
The tree with an ancient cunning
Made a frightening sight

Toward it's top
Just out of reach
What might have been
Ruby, red flowered
But, ******, not ruby, spread

Before their eyes
The blossom went
From flower sent
To apple of ****** spent
First, one; then two, and three

Enough for all, should they reach
One, first stepped, a hand stopped
Pointing and excitement gripped
Gesturing at small bones, evidence
The tree, made apples blazing red

Words were spoke and those, left
The tree, still crumpled and bent
Night fell and the tree felt
Leaving apples up, so so red
A worthy tempt

And right before dawn
One did come, temptation won out
The man, climbed; the tree stood
Held its ire, back it's threat
Waited until, the man out stretched

Snapping him up, quick, quick
Swallowing him whole, spitting out bone
It was such a meal, that the tree just grew
Another inch, or maybe two
Up, and out, roots reached another

The tree spread and spread
Turning green apples deep red
Less slowly it went,
One lonely man a day
Until it made two

And now, the tree leans
Never green, overgrown hollow
Infected, bringing red to green
And might thoroughly explain
Why wild apples all, are sour
Balanced well, weighs naught
Outstretched, sexually tense
Taunt, fingered for release
A person sits and cries
Knees together, holding her face
Lips quiver, and tears leak from cracks
Hide from the world
Not just a girl
But full grown
A woman, long

A clock clicks
Wordless in the night
It's not the precision preferred
Everything is not all right
It's face so pretty
Decorated with scrolls
Beautiful in architecture

It tells the time
But cannot really see inside
It's mind isn't shattered
It's still beautiful
Cogs, levers, springs and gears
It can only look at others
Knows something is wrong

It sees the world, all the other faces
Clocks themselves, faces hiding minds
Only hears the tick, click and tock
Sometimes it rains, humidity brings
Another tock, and knows it's off
Just one more tick
Make it work

One has to look past the face
See it's mind, complete
Not the pretty, but
Admire the precision
Mechanical beauty
Revenged emotional
Struggling time

Always trying so hard
Get through the hours
Minutes in seconds
Maybe it's ok, a little slow
A little fast, time makes time
Looking at clocks
Feeling only wrong

But it's the slow and fast
Moments between
When someday, it seems
That ticks and tocks
Patchwork healing
Shrugging, painful seconds
Keep perfect time

The other clocks
Faces hiding broken minds
Look to that grand Ol' tock
See only that it goes
Not its struggle
So in her hands
Tears slide down

Her woman's cheeks
All red, eyes puffy
A mind restrained
She hides her face, not
So all the other clocks
Can all go tick, tock
Click, whir

She only knows her
Ignoring the fact that
Her time is perfect
For everything he needs
Because the beauty of
Elegance is precession

His sense is timeless
Wonder not measured
For hours, creep
Minutes, tick
Seconds, wander
But altogether
She is everything
She dances
A leg, her thigh
Her hips, move
Gyrating
Feeling
Strength
Power
Her

She doesn't wear her clothes
Accenting those legs
Every move, shoulders, hips
Forcing imagination
Something primal

Fingers play her beat
Her breath shakes
There is a light in her eyes
A promise, a gift
It's almost lust
But it's more, Love
You're  the only one

Stomach, undulating
Muscles dancing
Control, yet not
Her being
A presence

Long lashes, framing eyes
Forcing attention
Fluid thoughts
Rack your mind
But that's Her power
Her eyes, they know
Sparkle with knowledge

Secret charms
Magical and hinting
Ancient, dark patterns
Her steps trace their patterns
Body creating lines in the mind

Her song plays
But it's unheard
The audience
Entranced
Enraptured
Trapped
Enslaved
Hers
The finger of the shade curled
Not so much a beckon
As a warning, unsafe path

From the trees a wildcat screams
A woman's wail, shrieking
Unintentional ambiance
A deeper black to the night

The fade sees, hollow eyes plead
It's mouth works, a soundless scream
The shade chokes, tries to breath
Forgot it's dead, it remembers death
Insubstantial hands grab my chest

Snow falls, the land in fog
A tree falls, unseen far off
A giant's step, shakes the earth
The shade reaches in, grips

My heartbeat, rushing thudding
Stops, fear's fingers tighten
Clench, stilling the drum
It'll burn out your eyes
A million souls looking up in wonder
Melted eyes from their sockets
Running, black, down their cheeks
Jaws slack, and teeth falling
From their mouths

Blood, black, running out
From ears, noses, mouths and
Eyes, like horrid mascara
Distorted make up in a horror
But all they see is awe
After the winds that came

Blown fire, a storm where
The very gusts, not gentle
Nothing like a summer breeze
But something that scores
Hair, skin and lips from the bones
Peeling dripping faces back

And yet, they stare,
From eyes which no longer see
Screaming from mouths
That don't make a sound
A chorus of discord
In a firestorm

An artificial sun
Lit on a planet of life
Bringing death
Upon wings of fire
Like a blackened angel
Loosed on an unsuspecting world

Mushrooming up, billowing
Catching and pushing through
An atmospheric nightmare
Ripping the very last air
From the lungs of their children
Spreading out, blocking the sun

Apocalyptic in nature
But no prophet could predict
Their Gods all deserted now
Figments of imagination
For a world that has forgotten
All, for a single glance

Such is the danger wrought
After the fires burn out
The seas boiled away
Leaving beaches of bones
Cracked Earth, continents split
Rivers now, flowing lava home

It's the burden of nature
A beauty of the universe
When stars and orbits
Push and pull, gravity
Of bodies, beyond control
Black holes, spin, blink up

In a moment, it's gone
A whole world, no warning told
The price that is paid, worth
But, be careful, Love
This is your smile's price
I'd give the world for
Bustling energy of trade, fueled by wind and sea
By the bay, this town lived and died
Hauling stock, beast and trade

Commerce of lives, both benign and mine
Thousands of souls, the lifeblood of a town
Building, crating and shipping

Southward rumors of ancient gods, living in ocean deep
Too fantastic for the mind, first trickled then rain
They said, Cthulhu had walked again

Scoffing, things of myths and madness
Forgotten legends, and salty sailors' threats
But rituals pestered, beneath night and cloak

Attentions turned, as they always must
From fantastic, back to life and living
Until adrift, floating death made fall

Rumors resurfaced, cinders to flame
Dockyards without workers, migrants leave
A strange disease, visited from slave to master

From managed flame to fire, the grotesque grew
Crying of unexplained pain, watching madness spread
Freezing port, travel and even the wind

The bay lay like glass, frozen in August's heat
Neither wind, nor wave bothered the docks
And folk looked now, to the religious for bread

Of those, Christians alike
Busied with new, task at hand
I thought, we might pull through

But newcomers mingled, stole members away
Slowly churches emptied, in a span of days
As even their pantries, emptied and barren

I speak now, last fateful night
More dark than pitch, as quiet as death
A silent fire blew, giving neither heat nor light

Beams cracked, charred to ash
Before my very eyes, unbelieving and true
Foul smoke, oily and slick crept

Tendrils spilled out from the hall, I shuttered back
Those that it touched, almost gently
Fell, shuttering and breaking with plague

Gathering my wits, wife and children
We fled town, witnessing gathering horrors
Mishappen feature is friends, family terrorized our way

They had been broken, white eyes seeing naught
Flesh drained of color, ashen and sometimes crushed
Clawing at faces, a great violence to all near

A couple puking sea water, conjoined at the hip
Another opened his own gut, searching and chanting
Still more hunted, having features more akin to the depths

In the morning, as the ocean birthed the sun
I could just see, what remains of the town
In its unearthly stillness, movement caught my eye

A procession of black, marching in step
Strangely orderly, a contrast to the night
Following a symbol, a banner held high

It was then that I knew, remembered from the past
Prophecy foretold, elements of evil from lore
Stories from grand mere, meant to frighten or more

Fallen gods, cast from the stars
Slumbering, undead and yet alive
Bedded beneath, immortal in the deep

Such creatures, nightmares of another race
Gathering ours, devouring sleep
Now, awake
Blackened* water stains run down
Stoney* gowns, a sentinel of the grave
Angel cries, granite tears that never
Falls or hit the ground, suspended
With a chiseled grace, unbegotten
On rocks, memories of the dead
Hands dug these holes, our own
Worn thin, flesh bloodied and torn
Held shovels, wooden handled
And blister polished with use
High in the sky, lonely shapes
Return go and return
Covering the landscapes, with
Feathers and mournful songs
It's voice, never heard
Fall on deafened ears
Eyes that run and never rest
Decorating the dreams of those
Weeping never again watering
Landscapes of those gray flowers: fit
For only the hallowed, the dead
Burned, working endlessly
Labors, toiling costs, painted
Grey for the fields, flags all
Lost, like angels' dreams
"God made man, but Samuel Colt made them equal"*

I don't know who said that, nor,
I suppose, do I care.

Looking out across a crowd
Protesting something, I start to care

Sheep, protesting their own rights
Me and John Browning laugh

They'll come for my guns
Ol' Sam Colt will be at my side

I have my friends, those trusted men
Who have built this country

Those who bleed, bled, designed
Died, sacrificed and cried for it

So you occupy, you whine about fair
Ok, but you're not the three percent

Go on and complain
Say it's all privilege

But to take the guns, steal my rights
You'll call the guys with guns

And in the end, to attain your goals
You'll be calling people like me
Strings, vibrating taunting
Stretching down, swirled around the moonlight
Twisting, grasping, confused for
Tentative, delicate holds
But Intimately bound

Draws, pulls me toward you
As you ignore me, in self imposed exile
From the other side, of a door you've closed
Your voice thrums my heartstrings, exposed
Tickling a song forth, as you push me away

Confused, I am lost
Inconsistent words from moments
I cannot speak, your inner guilt
Is worn on your sleeve, expressed
Then your actions deny, cry out

You see problems, mountains
Pulled up from the earth, gigantic
Designed to create reasons, walls
Stopping us, preventing us
From being us

Giving every reason, illusions
Building toward a crescendo,
But will you cross the line
You've drawn across your soul
And ties you to my heart

Left only for you to realize
I'm here, outside your walls
Waiting, howling, scratching
Straining, listening
For you to open the door
When I see you, I see The Questions
They're written all over your face
I don't need to look in to your eyes
Or check your sleeve where
Emotions are a badge

You wonder, with a slight pause
And reply with an unanswer
More to yourself than spoken
I, for the moment,
Am simply there

I see your retreat, behind your eyes
They lose the sparkle
Like a loss of light
Darkness, a treasure in you gone
A part of you dies

I reach to you, grasp you
To me, I hold you close
Sooth that part, I can't stop death
But the part that remembers
Forgive yourself, and be a part

I love you, too much
To be safe myself, I know
To save us, I must save you
And maybe, in the process
Save myself, save you
Very best viewed
Across a contrast
Musculature, two
Destined, real life
Not fancied, true

A drifting, small
Light, dark hairs
Golden shades in
Caramels hues, an'
Sun kissed skin
Raven haired touch
Deep hearted miss

Listen: music tuned
To stars singing
Pro-claiming us
A chariot's hum
The different drum

This enchanted time
Not worthy of
Words, deed or play
But including love
I seek you
Every so often
There comes a look

It's almost easy to miss
I know I miss it a lot

You showed me that look
In a picture of you

I was amazed
Because I had seen that look

And had nothing
Associated with it

Not anger, not love
It wasn't fear or anxiety

But then you said
It was alluring to you

Although I was lost
I have a sign post

Now along the road
Falling in love again

Always falling,
And never hitting bottom

It's free-falling
And it's beautiful
The man stood
Frozen, in time
Not bravery
Just surprised

He stared, transfixed
The creature emerged
And he stood
Where others ran

Scooping babies
And young up
Their faces a mess
Tears and fears

He surprised himself
He was flat faced
The feeling was flat
Empty, calm

The arrow was nocked
Maybe he didn't do it
Only his fingers knew
That it was there

It cornered his lip
And their eyes met
Brown, now washed grey
Against its fiery orange

The creature's attention torn
From havok and rage
Directed upon the poacher
It stared, boring down

Neither moved, readying
A second in time, another
Stretching, another heartbeat
Cats, before the pounce

It moved,
So did he
Releasing
Flight

The creature
Almost a howl
Died, just before
It gave voice

Before the poacher
Sweat never broke
It was curious
But an after thought

The Poacher turned
Facing forward
Examined his prey
Contemplating pay
Ringed of stone
Dark rocks from another time
Broken, shattered, replaced
By not by gnarled hands
Hands, uncalloused,
Delicate fingers, dragging
Unholy stones, upturned
Graves of creatures
Not meant to
Draw breath

Concentric rings, reinforced rituals
Blood, dried and fresh, decorate
Form intricate scrolls,
Forgotten languages
Of Masters, dead and still walking
Hailing dark forces, uncontrolled
Like forcing the seas from the beach
Standing at lowest tide
And bringing creatures
From it's depths
Caught now
In pools

Far from the oceans
Inland and unknown to those
Others, they bend and crawl
Broken of sanity and mind
Tentacled things, fanged
With inhuman strength
A disjointed symphony
From throats, forgotten
Words, gurgling
Choking on no language
For the era of man

Chained by the geometrical
Patterns they don't understand
They cringe and prostrate
In lies to which should
They but lunge, lashing out
Powers which slash through
Minds, bringing insanities
Destroying any that they touch

But rituals, forgotten even by them
Elders, Masters worship, Star Gods
Brought, mindless, from the Beyond
Shipwrecked in our oceans of Earth
Slumbering, shambling Others
Slaved to their wills, games
Bringing to bended knee
Captured to barest glimpse
Minds broken, eternal youth
Women as vessels to hybrid life

Birthed children, monstrosities each
Chained, insane, locked to those
Dark rocks, their shards show
Surrounding prisons ages, old
Centuries untold, legends, mythical
Undulating naked bodies, show
Dancing, sexually unbound
Oiled, aflame though unburnt
Soaking, basking in their power
As their scream break, carry the night
Quaking the Earth, shattering clouds
They seek return, the stars, the seas
To feast, again, on salted flesh
To worship their kraken
Father of them all
In a moment, all had changed
We sat, as many might
For dinner, late

Rolls and peas, plus a bit of meat
Once a week, we fared better than many
It came like a wave, rolling

From the east, if facing east
I know for at my table, I looked north
But felt the change, weary my bones

I saw my wife, her eyes blue
Deeply light blue, almost gray
I saw her ****, eyes changed green

Struggled, she breathed
Then the wave, took one after another
I felt it pass, emotions tumbling at once

She seen something, hidden
Miles away, blocked from sight
From behind stone walls, as we prayed

Then, the ****
She howled, we all whimpered
For the madness, overwhelmed

Contagious, it spread
I heard it first, bringing me back
From neighbors, less distant and west

Snapping me back, to see her
Gnashing, breaking her teeth
Pulling and ripping, hair

She flailed, grasping a fork
Stabbing our children, one to another
Before I could move, inhumanly fast

As they cowered, deep in rising fear
Not of her, but of the emotions rippling
From distant and far, but always east

I struggled, when she came at me
Flinging my arm up, warding her off
My knife came up, involunteerily

Then it dimmed, although
Some great beast, gathered it's rage
In some great birth, then awareness

It pulsed, lower now
Like humming, out of mind
Letting us know, a god now strode

We could feel it, where it looked
It's attention, driven us mad
And now, we live in its shadow
Epiphany, I wouldn't call it that
An almost royal word
Too complex, by far
It's not that it's simple
Just it doesn't fit

We, us, our are better
It's not about me
So those words
Are a better fit
Like Her body
Laying, molded
Against mine

Then again, it's how I feel
The kaiy between us
Comfortable enjoyment
Of Her soft skin, like petals
Against mine, souls entwined

It's the feeling of falling
In love, being two and then One
But the very moment you know
Where one moment it's about
You and me, then in reaching
Comforting, holding You
Putting myself aside

Forgetting everything about me
All the pain, the remorse and hurt
That was caused and giving Her
The Being that She needs right then
When her need means more

Stepping out of one's self
To become more, a rebirth
A hero's moment, all or nothing
Not crafted; only an urge
And acting on it; instinct
Realizing that everything you are
Revolves around Her

And She accepts the embrace
She allows the healing to begin
Letting it all go, taking off the mask
For just a moment; letting you
Be the Man you are

No, never an epiphany
That word is too complex
Too simple to describe
A metamorphosis of self
The unconditional love
That'll let a Man cry against
Her shoulder every night
And be what She needs

It's no accident of fate
A surrender of self
Recognizing beauty
For only itself
And falling in Love
Life is the years between
The most significant events
Birth, your beginning
Death, your ending
But the stories are between

What competes with the two?
The encompassing emotion
Describes and combining them all
Launching ships, leading men
To live and die for

It makes both such trivial matters
Like life or death, pale before it
Such is love, such is life
A story of two made one
It's the heartbeat made crazy

Her kiss, soft on the lips
Her smile, just as soft
A sparkle in her eye
When she grabs you
And pulls you close

The warmth she feels
Safety in your arms
Great protector, everything
And giving that much more
Than ever, never alone

Stroking her hair,
Running gentle hands
Along her body
And her heat against yours
To give and be life

Between those moments
Of birth and death
Writing the story
That defines life
Making it alive
Mercurychyld
To love a rose
You must respect it
It's head, rich in colors
Reds, light to deep
A blossomed beauty
It's graceful neck
Sensual in form
Leads to the thorns
Green and sharp
A testament of life
It's stem, holds scars of growth
But it's mind, something to beholden
Taken as a whole
It is gentle in its morning wake
Reaching for the sun
Warm, loving and needful
A peaceful existence
Seeking only love
Taste, drink with tongue
Tease it's water of life
Run your fingers down its stem
Slide between the thorns
Hold the neck
Place it's head
To protect, groom
Lightly passion it's spine
Give it's deepest reds
Color it's head
Be it's support
And it's place to grow
Pamper it's always time
Long legs divide
Kisses deliver time
It's nectar, true
I love you
Waiting for the sun,
Blazon badge across a foreign world
A morning stand to, bringing a drop of sweat
Perfectly still, its my only movement
Traveling down, contours of eyes
Impatiently watching an alien landscape

They came from somewhere else
An known place, far in space
Attacked from out of the sun
Decimating cities, structures, life
Pumping chemical nightmares from their ships
Driving the elderly and children insane

Their ships were drones, robotic
Faces unseen, voices unheard
But only at first, and only in dreams
Populating our oceans, broke eco
Processing, harvesting, drinking all life
Like Leviathan devouring life

Massive ships, they sunk deep
More, their ships came,
Some we shot, falling from the sky
Crashing to Earth in massive comets
Of oranges, yellows, and blues
Scarring cities, farmland and lives

Others, tentacled, weaponed and fantastic
Crawled up our beaches, taking cities, crushing homes
Some tiny, unseen, breathed in
Feasting on flesh, multiplying
Liquifing, microscopically treacherous
Life by the millions, blinking out like strobe

Slowly we fought; humanity: nature of war
Learning to protect, learning to defend
Small thousands remained, I think they forgot
Maybe this planet, had grown too cold
We made weapons, developed this war
Brought ourselves back

We reached for the stars,
Reaching for new suns
We found them again,
Decided to wipe them from space
One planet at a time,
Each system in a row

But for the soldier's life
This dirt, this planet, this place
Its boredom and waiting
Burning suns
Freezing wastes
Always just another taste
Red mist that night
Unholy still
Our ships pins marring
That ocean like glass
For the wind, all at once, had died

I strode the deck, bashing heads
As I must, such as men were
Loosed sails that might
May a breeze sort the lot
Twilight had broke

The first sight to fix me,
My dearest new maiden wife
Bon Homme she stayed
Small miles west, whaling I must stay
The next, stole my breadth

The whole of the ocean rose
Blending both sky and sea
Where one began I could not tell
But it's glass caught us up
Brought us high, fearing to tip

From wince it's cresting
The very sea brought to waste
Screaming to lash sail
The words strangled my throat
I could see them come

Not one at first, but sprang
Many as though they were the sea itself
Tearing at decking, board and man
Destroying, in mad waste
A mass of scrabbling death

The ocean bubbled, cursing its own fate
Each parts aquatic fish,
The dead men of a thousand years
Drowned, and undead
Grasping, ripping, and tearing at life

In a moment I was thrown
From faithful decking
Knocking myself senseless upon the spar
Suddenly in the cold
To my men, in lifeboats tossed about

Creatures, rose around us
Twice the height of man
A guffaw, almost laughter
Before they opened mouths as one
And cast their eyes upon us

Behind their voices
Like chirping of birds
All black of wing
A song, barely heard
Just beyond its words

With a menace of despair
Too grand for comprehension
The night darkened
As the stars winked out
One by one

The entities, became one
Tor'd Ul d'Chulp
It bleed my ears as it spoke
The ocean boiled around my little boat
Inward I cowered when it spoke it's name

It seemed to straighten
If something of such great height could
And turned away
Our crew of six, nightmarish awe
Our lifeboat then thrown about in its wake

At which point, men screamed
I know, for I was among them
Not for our lot, now with the sea
But for what we witnessed
Birthed from the deep

Striding toward our homes
The village of Bon Homme
We knew would be gone by morn
Knowing naught what befallen us
Only the fate of those to come
It's a magic number
Never lonely,
A history in the past
Always again, again,
And once more again

It surfaces repeatedly
Always in the pattern
It's a singular certainty
But by threes
Happenstance, maybe
Coincidence, ok
Maybes

But it's been for years
Three weeks, months, years
Like guard in hell
Too easy to blame the number
Doesn't let you out

But take the number
It's in your palm
That's the trick
If you know the pattern
Use the pattern

Look at the number
First is always honey
Moon's easily reprieve
Second is the morning after
Dawn's soonest drift
Third the learning
Of souls, reflections bold

Always in phase
From one to another
Memories dredge up
To say, no, don't let this be
Whisper, destroyed, wasted soul

Maybe it says
You don't have the right
Not to happiness or delight
Cursed to break
Not Midas Touch

But this is not what I see
To me, you are the purest soul
Childish in joke, quick to laugh
Passion unbridled, sharp of tongue
Brightly alight, witty and alive
Full of fight, free flying sight
Clean and shining, white

If only I could give you
The sight of you
How I see you
Beautiful, awesome
Might
Internal parts spread out
Taken apart, way across
Hop-scotch blocks,
And little girls
Hippity-hop

Toes in each block
In time to a tune
Drums pock a beat
On the little child
Inside the watch

Icky-tickity, tock, tock
A tear from the eyes
Like a drip, faucet
Then over the falls
Niagara in a barrel

Time doesn't, not really
Exist to be selfish, always
Giving a bit more, another
Second turns in to a minute
By yourself, in a barrel

Going over the falls
And right at the edge
Toes over the top
Feet in the air
Head over heels

You look at your watch
Tickity, tickity-tock, tock
Hippity, hop, hop
Right over, toes in the box
With a roar, a tear

Coming together
Tears, not for pain
Like a band on a watch
Pinned to keep place
Just in case you fall

In love, hippity-hop
So when your feet reach
Touch the sky, tickity, top
You can check the time
So know how far you fall

Tickity, tippity-tip top
Check the wrist watch
Toes in the block
Skipping rope
Keeping time

All of the above
Inner chyld, tock, tock
Beautifully in time
Perfectly aligned
Inside your mind

Playing hopscotch
Little girls' games
Over the top
Clippity, tock
Tick, tock
Everything about you
Is frozen in time
You'll never grow old
From the moment
I first saw you
Never a new line
Grays don't find
A hold in your hair
Little pieces of you
Never to wear
You'll complain
about time
its always unkind
but to me you are frozen
I can't help but stare
Caught in your moment
Tangled in love
Too tight and twined
I don't have a choice
Like my actions not mine
Almost like someone
Cups my mind
I am forced to see you
Past everything unkind
Look through the abyss
Past dragons, devils,
cages and time
I see you the way you want to be
Words, you've written in the past
The woman you are, free and fine
I see all the strings, how they keep you tied
Little emotions, that strive, tear and bind
Addicted to feeling, I want to devour
You scare me at times, fire backdrafted fear
But its nothing to face, feeling love, a presence so near
it holds me to you, a part of you protects
It burns but doesn't consume me
That who you are, pure safety and loved
So I wither the fire, take fury and burn
To see the Phoenix, kiss life against death
Fingers like pieces
Puzzled together,
Like they were made
For the other's hands
Clasped together

Each not strong
Enough to hold
Themselves
Together,
They are

Side by side
Left close to right
Next to the other
Partner, partners
With, us, we, ours

Her wing stretches
Fifteen, maybe twenty
Feet, to either side
Again, by side
One wing each

Clouds sweep by
A jet, below, so slow
They grace, diving
Like a raptor
Then their wings

Switchblade
Out, zipping
Pulling, ripping
Them headlong
Out from the ground

Like a flower up, up, up
To the sun, to the sky
Back to the clouds
They were born
To explore
At first glance
You were untouchable
Beauty made physical
Ethereal, perfect
Sweater red, jeans blue

You said I was unreadable
Couldn't see what, why
I paused because I was stunned
Lost my words, I was in love
The first time consumed
Couldn't keep my heart in its place
It's drum, total unrest

Up the stairs, I followed
I would follow you anywhere
To the grave, ashes mixed
Barely, I could speak
My throat clenched

We drove for a while
Even now, memories awash
I gathered my courage
Touched your hand at a light
We had talked through letters
Long through the night, but
Nothing to prepare me, for the touch

You dressed for the night
Dinner, enchiladas, steak and that night
I froze when I saw you
Still to this day
You'll never grow older
My heart beat much harder
Eyes upon you, a moment told you

We drank red wine and each other
Hours, in the night
A massage, you were bolder
We held hands, yours so soft
First time, all I wanted
But in time I asked you
For a kiss that smoldered

That night I saw you
With lips, outlined dark
Perfect, quivering in dream
Bottom, pouting and plump
Curves, tender and touched

I kissed you with fire
Melted ice volcanic
Worshipped your body
But all in love with your soul
Made love in the candles
Held you while nightmares racked
That too short night

But I'll always remember
Our first kiss in twilight
Your eyes were unknowing
That my lips
Kissed in love
Ripped from my original profile...
It's not my fault
I want you so hard
There is always a reason
Always a touch
Gentle and warm

Maybe in the morning
Before long days
You'll scrunch up
Tight against me
Asleep, I doubt you know
But it sets me off

I'll drift from sleep
Embracing your body
Not too sure, but
Angel, I hold
Your hip, thigh
Up and down
So, so soft

Maybe I slide
Between your thighs
My hands, fingers
Crease your lips
Murmur in your ear
Bite on your neck
Taste your night

Start to quiver
Wet, fingers trace
Heartbeats on low lips
Maybe you wake
A hand on my hip
Encouraging a ride
Or fingertips' glide

Guide me, press back
Arch, your breath catches my stride
In to a volcano, throat divide
Warped around, entwined
Guiding your hands

Turn your head, kiss so fine
Hot, checkered breathing
Interrupting, moans, low
A 'yes,' trancing eyes
Push me down, out; not dry
Suckle, circle dance of tongue
Perfect *******, mounds smooth and fine

Dark areole, ******* *****;
Nibble; mouth
My hands explore designs
Perfect muscular, beautiful lines
Tracing curves of stomach, hip and thigh

Then down your lat
Fingers, grasp
Your smell, sensual, smile
Pecks along, just inside
Smooth, soft, tasting drips
Desert, candy, rain and
Your hands press, ******

A bend of knees, hips rise
Gripping biscuits, I dine
Pressing me closer,
I encourage with murmurs
Yours, hard grind

You take my hands
Crushing nails to my palms
Tattooing ******* half moon designs
Hot juices, quicken; reach out
Reach. Grip, pull at the sheets
Swelled, throbbing clip
My tongue dances a rhyme

Again and again
Toes curls, force, pin
For leverage, twisted arms
Hands along inside thighs
Press, open you hard

Bring you with me
Surf your waves
Bring your conclusion
Once again, squirming
Liquid, bodies, meshing

You push me down
I turn, pull you over
Open wide, arching back
Teasing in, empale yourself
Deeply, feel you open within
Wet, dripping, rivers of warmth
Your muscles hard, you grip

And grind, *** and grind

Biting, fingers dig deep
Shoulders, chest, nails drag
Wrap you tightly, press you close
Your ******* so hard, grip my head
Hands wrapped in your hair
Twisted, gently, hard tip arching
Taking that deep ache

Perfect in warmth, soft
Desperate in movement
Action, low cries
You nip with a tongue
Again, you ***

Harder you press
Undeniable, deep thrusting
A millstone crushing it fine
Faster, hands slide on thighs
Locking your feet, pinning me down
Entering wide, you want it deeper
Taking my explosion inside

Inside, you hug my size
Up *******, then down
Draining, reserve, devoured in time
Folding and melting
Against me

Collapsing, molding
Aloft , floating, drifting
Our heartbeats in sync
Fingers, we relax
Bodies, we close
Together, we fall
Back to sleep
There is only One
Bring lights with your voice
A colorful, soft noise
Spoken under breath
Concentrate to hear

Under the sound of the world
Musically inclined
When you think no one is listening
Or maybe you don't even notice
But I hear your voice

From the corner of my eyes
I hear you coloring the world
Bringing color to this drab place
Always inside the lines
Filling pages with a future

With the radio or
the hum of the road
The tires droning on
As the road passes along
And we along it
Softly, they tickle
As they crawl, like fingers
Down caramel cheeks
Flawless, beautifully scalped

Dipped, sliding from both
Along her pores, tiny hairs
From her brown lashed eyes
Shadowed in sorrows

It's her cross, she cries
For pains unmade, left alone
But those tears stains skin
Bringing color to touch

Red, again so deep
Like her lips, pursed
Her tongue darts, tastes
It's the way; her way

She looks and sees
Upraised eyes, first time
All these years, through time
Friends lost, begging and gone

Mascara blood stained tears
Humming soundless tunes
A sorrowful lost small smile
Hunts her lips, painted matching

Her eyes bright
In palest moonlight
Seem to sparkle, nice
Memorizing glances; fight

Longish fingers dipped in red
Look, sensually gesturing
Spellbound graceful trap
Predatory heart

Still blood tears fall
Not for you, not for you
As she reaches, slow
Tears become rivers
White
Torn
Laying
On
Unbroken
Earth

Be
Seen
Across oceans, wept
Desert **** the tears, sleep
Eyes close unseeing, gently
Snapping with every thought

Bring purse, clutched desperate
From soul to soul, unworthy carriage
Twist uncomfortably, lessons unlearned
Reliving pasts, tortured survival

Fall, into your place
Leashed, right all alone
Waddle, right; be saddled
Will, creasing great divides
Rabbit hole, rabbit hole
Where do you lead?

Hop right alongside me
Fall in love, in to the unknown

Bring me to a crazy land
Someplace insane and fun

A dark shadow
Just below the surface

Jabberwockies and Cheshire cats
Sharp claws, Hero of the land

Play your role
The queen of hearts

Or maybe, of mine at least
Love, this adventure

In to this rabbit hole
Falling in love with you

My soft little rabbit
My brilliantly lit hero

Lead us along this road
Through chaos and the unknown

This fantastic place
I'll only walk with you
Surrounded by the drone
The constant hum
Electricity vibrating
Making lines of noise

It defines civilization
The ultimate expression
Of fire shackled
Controlled lightening

The dark is held back
Opening the day
Bringing hours of life
Keeping monsters at bay

It's price, like everything else
Weakens and fences
Creating conveniences
The weak, unwilling cry

No longer enabling
It's demanded, a right
An illusion of creature
Comforts the unalive

Forgotten the trials
Broken bones, blood spilled
Fighting the elephant
Circling of the wolves

That first raised stone
Spark of flint, spark of life
Against nature, man
To ****, and live

It surrounds us
Blanketing us, warm
False, from too long
Safe from fire

Lost the deepest fear
Of being burned alive
Caged the cruelest animal
It's lost, roaring, white noise
Having just one
Is about the same, sometimes
As having none
Like a hand
Or a wing

Like a bird
Who's never left
A nest, it's empty now
Baby bird on the ground
Left to die, one wing gone

We are all angels, or demons maybe
But either with one wing
Is grounded, for all intents
Doomed, or ******
Forever, never to fly

Until one takes another's hand
Lifts them up, an angel
A demon, lifts an angel
Definitely something beholden
It wouldn't matter

When you fly
Leaning on another
Using their wing
To help their own
Nothing matters

It's their hand,
You fly, high
Side by side
Neither behind
Neither ahead
I don't wish upon stars
Too fickle
Already gone

Rather, perhaps
I look to your eyes
See the future, dreams

That's the chance
A better place
Love, more

I can stare forevermore
Across oceans of time
See us, ours

What would be better?
Puny stars
Extinguished before us

Ours, hand and hand
What more, what more
Than to be by your side

— The End —
