Fall

In the dark evening
she was sitting in the front porch
with her legs crossed.

No one was there but a cup of tea that always been there for her
the tears rolled down her pale cheeks.

Just like the petals, snowflakes, and eyelids.
they will eventually fall.

Like You

the wind
is willing me to the ground
and the sun
scrutinizing
squinting down in criticism
while i squint up in fright
and shame
but of what

plants curl
up
every which way to the sun
while my growth
is stunted

nothing is mine
i am not worthy
to see the sky
it is not mine to see
the wind
does not want me to stand
the sun
does not want me to stay

go
it tells me
you are not wanted
you are not worthy
these things
are not yours
go find something that is yours
it tells me
it shouts
and whispers
and pushes
and wills
me to move
away from the wind
away from the sun
anywhere but here
go
move
it shoos me
with
upturned noses
closed eyes
and beautiful
dainty hands
you cannot stay
we do not want you
not here
move
but i cannot move
so i hide
in the dark
in a room
from the sun
from the wind
from the light
but
so much beauty
i want to see it
i am drawn to it
but banned from it
i am not allowed
to see

I'm over you.

There's a girl crying in my mirror tonight, and there's nothing I can say to make her feel alright.
She was born the day she met him, lived a while when he loved her, died a little when they broke apart.
Everyday she hides the pain with a smile pastered to her face.
She tries her best and wont give up the ongoing fight.
Shes giving her all, every ounce of her soul, to finally make thing right.
Shes crying herself to sleep tonight, in hopes of catching one last glimpse of that beautiful face, because in the morning she'll say goodbye.
Let go of the pain, and let go of the fight.
Because for once, she's going to be alright.

Death has taken another
A little girl with a heart so big
And a smile so bright

She was once part of one
But now she is many
He added her to his collection

He has taken before
but this one is special
He has taken his own daugher for his collection

It started with a smile
But ended up with a sin

I picked out a **** out cigarette
Stained with scabbing Lipstick
And I notice something peculiar ;
These memories taste like copper
I pressed it back into the ashtray

*Only to be forgotten again...

Hush, hush baby.
You grab the bottle.
Spill its contents,
Then count what’s inside.
Swallow them whole
In one big gulp.
Take your last drink
And fall asleep.

In your dreams
Everything is perfect.
Your family loves you,
No more beatings,
No more bleeding.
You have no bruises
No more scars,
No more wounds.

Hush, Hush baby.
You think your dead.
Your stomachs heaving,
Your lungs still breathing,
Hearts still beating.
Someone loves you,
Someone saved you.
You whisper Thank you

With eyes engorged
My senses surge
I found a thin place
Where triumph cowers in a visions range
As our worlds converge
There, plain as day
Where I swear I've seen your face
I kneel down to pray
But I can hardly say your name

Perhaps beauty is not a thing
Perhaps it is a place
That resides elsewhere
Beyond the fair one's face

Perhaps a hint of kindness
Behind a secret smile
Perhaps a certain stranger
That stops and chats awhile

Perhaps a fragrant flower
That dances in the breeze
Or maybe the whisper
Of the wind through the trees

Maybe its that person
that simply says "I care"
Or it could be your lover
with the dark and shiny hair

It could be the person crying
With tears cascading down their face
Nothing left to live for
Until they find their saving grace

Many things are beautiful
you just have to stop and see
like stopping and reading this poem
Now, that is true beauty.
