Issa's dewdrop world
HaikuGuy May 2014
this world
is a dewdrop world
but yet... but

Master Issa wrote this after the death of his beloved daughter from smallpox...

Even though he understood that we are dewdrops only here on earth for a moment, he was devastated

Experimental Poetry
HaikuGuy May 2014
A rainbow appeared
in the mist over the falls
hints of love you say
all I see is black and white
no color just shades of grey.

Surreal vision
painted with broad strokes
I still do not see
the vibrant colors you do
woven with the tint of love

Shimmering colors
in the mist over the falls
I will never see
love carried by a rainbow
no colour just shades of grey
I wrote a Tanka and combined it loosely with a pantoum
