Godspeed Jan 2017
Just like that,
she left,
without leaving a trace,
a picture, a video to remember,
and all that’s left from her,
is in my memory,
my faulty memory.

Oh how I longed for her.
How many times I brushed her off
When she was still existent,
How many times I wished for her
When she is now inexistent.
The irony I can’t comprehend.

I could still remember the times
We’ve been together
The moments we shared
I could still remember
The happiness we had towards
One another
I could still rememb-
Wait…

What was her name again?
Memory is an integral part of the human complex. Without it, life is impartial – meaningless, void of emotion and happiness. We tend to store strong memories close to our heart, be it something joyful or something depressing. These groups of happenings pieces together in a puzzle what we propound as life.
