I stand so tall and slightly lean

The sharpest creature ever seen

My t-shirt boldly has a rose

I have a much lengthened nose

My stringy arms I wave and cheer

Yet I have just one small ear

My rounded mouth looks like a ball

My little left foot is so small

My right foot is yet rather big

My fingers are just like a twig

I’m wearing very spotty shorts

My shoes have crosses and noughts

My teeth though crooked always please

I have awesome knobbly knees

There’s many big and many small

Yet each amazing, one and all

Of t-i-m-e, we knoweth not

That which could stand still

Transcends us all

An opportune moment, of which to befall

A flicker of hope, desireth more

To seize, to freeze, this window frame

Pictures in the sand, ‘sandline’ recede

Rainbow brilliance, swiftly hidden from view

Precious pearls, of days brought anew

Wonderment happenings, fastening through

Peering back with merriment glance

Lost in time, of but one chance

Of joy unabated, triumphantly won

Of a mountainous climb, boundless breath-taking

Of odds stacked against

Take to the skies, together we fly

Beat to my drum, we synchronize

Of harmonies, love stands entwined

At one in chorus, sheer distinction

Stellar smile, symbolic signs

Travelling loves unwinding road, of paths untold

In victory dance, bold chances took

Of gazes transfixed, a future eclipsed

Distinctive souls, becoming as one

Guided footsteps, of days devoted

Moments noted, pebbled miles

A tender embrace, a solemn vow

Instants captured, a time of now

First words, first steps

Treasures k-e-p-t

Ensemble of togetherness

Acts of all benevolence

Consoled companion, constancy

Trust of actuality

Set beyond dichotomy

Forever fleeting

The fragrance of spring

Enthralling essence, captivating

Life is but a visit, blink and you’ll miss it

Verse 1

Graceful God my source and provider, there is no other like you

Lord of lords, for you are my helper, there are blessings with changes anew

Faith enduring love is forever, triumph in my victory praise

Sovereign shield for you are the answer, blessed are my days

Chorus

Testify, it’s time to break through

Strength behold, I shall not be moved

Lost no more, there’s nothing to prove

Unleashed and made new

I am yours forever your own

Guiding me I am not alone

King of high and this is your throne

Victory is breaking through, breaking through

Verse 2

Of enemies they have not the holding, one creator over the earth

Strength arise, ascending the mountain, recognizing all of my worth

Stumbling blocks shall quake in your presence, confidence forever surround

Inheritance, for it is my birthright, sacred gifts be found

Chorus

Bridge

Enthroned on high, I will testify

Beyond my circumstance, power will defy

None can be compared, to you I give my cares

Verse 1

Lord I put my hope, forever put my trust

By your mighty power I’m succeeding

As the apple of your eye, my heart will glorify

In all victory, your undefeated

No other comes before, angelic beings adore

Your insightful ways are overseeing

Your awe-inspiring, give praises to the king

You’re my saviour evermore

Chorus

Pour on us a blessing

Eternal everlasting

Joyfully rejoicing, in thee

A shout of acclamation

A righteous revelation

A blossoming elation, in me

Verse 2

A holy offering, to purify my sins

I’m forgiven, I am free again

You truly paid the price, no greater sacrifice

My redeemer, which I can depend

I’m captured in your sight, the wrongs that you made right

My salvation, fortress fortified

No longer lost now found, I stand on solid ground

Sing praises to the sky

Chorus

Verse 1

In times of jubilation, with merriment of cheer

With joyful moments passing, to whom I shall revere

Of all the shades of wonder, devoid of any doubt

With miracles of splendour, of times never without

Chorus

I will praise my God, I will praise his name

I will listen forth to his holy rain

I will sing for joy, I will lift my heart

I will hear the voice of God

I will hear the voice of God

Verse 2

When man looks at the outward, yet you embrace my heart

Of love that’s ever-growing, setting me apart

Of trials and tribulations, you shall draw me near

Whisperings of courage, a stillness set to hear

Chorus

Verse 3

A rendering of focus, purposed by his name

A righteous returning, of Christ to see again

Of man we cannot fathom, your holiness so great

With gratitude and patience, your call I shall await

Chorus

Bridge

Holy rain, holy rain, lift my heart, heal my pain

Fill my life, make me whole, come and bring your joy again

Holy rain, holy rain, lift my heart, heal my pain

Fill my life, make me whole, come and bring your joy again

Verse 1

Creations scatter, seeds are blossoming

No greater time to draw the harvest in

New life to thrive and nature to unfold

With character of greater stories told

This is my springtime song

This is my springtime song

Verse 2

Such fields of grace and captured memories saved

The rays of sun above, a steady wave

To picture such an ever after scene

The magnitude of shades of flowering

This is my summer song

This is my summer song

Verse 3

So picturesque, an autumn coloured shade

To so revere, when higher thoughts evade

To thus evolve, the changing of the land

Of mysteries and time is in your hands

This is my autumn song

This is my autumn song

Verse 4

Imprinted patterns, fashioned all across

The times of gain and all apparent loss

The breath of life of seasons animate

A beginning of such a time to wait

This is my winter song

All seasons do belong
