She is an artist.
Her canvas is reality and her paintbrush is her words.
The possibilities are endless, her life is her creation.
She is everything, everywhere, constantly.
The better version of everyone, including herself.
Eager to impress, she creates art with her ability to believe and fabricate.
From nothing she can become anyone she chooses.
She draws herself onto places,
engraves her name into books and songs,
paints her face in other people’s memories,
cuts her name into other people’s tongues.
She is an artist and her art is truly unbelievable.

I am so alone.
Like your humble hands, untouched.
I wish you were mine.

Too often
I find myself
Singing your song
And forgetting
The lyrics
To mine

power is
an afrodesiac
that we consume
thus absolute power
corrupts and seduces
pharoahs and kings
to crush their enemies but
land and soverienty
we shall own
these things
the wise kings
ask for wisdom
to keep
their throwns and
fulfill their
reigns and promises
to rule
their kingdoms
succeed in victory
or perish
their domains
that shall
be done nor
life or death
stand alone but
real power
shall make
things happen
in this world
we sail alone

People say
Don't throw stones
If you live in a glass house,
But maybe the lesson should be
Don't throw stones, especially
At glass houses

We think we're big

insects are small

We are mistaking

We're not right at all

We thinks earth's big

We think stars are small

We are mistaking

We're not right at all

Compared to the solar system

We're a tiny dot

Compared to the universe

Even that we're not

The universe compared to everything

Is nothing at all

Everything else

is also pretty small.

But then our universe

and everything else

could be part of the hair

of a massive big mouse!

When we look at some dust

We think that's so small

but in that dust

There could be microscopic *****

and in those *****

could be five million universes

and in one of those

a galaxy

a solar system

a planet

with people bullying others

Thinking they're so big!

there are heaps of clothes on my bedroom floor

but none of them are yours

and my mind is traveling horrifying distances

to a place here you stretch yourself over me

like skin does to our bones

i want you to crawl inside of me and live in my ribcage

i want you to taste the daylight in me

to take all of my darkness away

until we reach a hot, incandescent point of no return

the astronomy of our bodies contains supernovas when we collide

touch me and i'll burn

without you my fragmented and lifeless heart resembles dying stars

i will be as beautiful in my own descent

so you can make a wish on me
I dreamt of you last night
It wasn't a good dream
Your eyes were the wrong
Color and you acted as though
You'd forgotten me and I
Woke up
Afraid
Because I haven't ached for you so desperately these past few days
Except to write poems about you on the chalkboard of an empty room
And I am worried that's why I want you,
To torment me so I can write
