Raindrops
Little droplets
Tiny, cold things upon the palm,
Distanced a little further
to the fingertip,
Drops, inch a little nearer
Tingles now around my neck.

Cold, light shower droplets of wet due,
I feel them at the crown of my head,
Coolness replacing heat of fury,
The droplet,
It runs down from the forehead,
Streams to the lips,
Tastes of cool dew-like water
Fresh from the skies.

Little rumbles to my left and right.
Cold wind brushes through,
Tip of the hair swept across my wet cheek,
Little cold tingles,
I still feel them all over my skin.
Wind, wind, blows.
All the heaviness beneath,
Breathe, fly away.
Away with the wind, heat of sorrows.
Let ice build its castle now.
