Widow open
With my arms open wide
Whipping wind
weaving in and out of my fingers
and into my tangled hair
Look up at the pale full moon
breathing in the burning fields

and its moments like this

Dante pulls out the lily
its orange petals
glistening in the pale moonlight

Lillian stares at it
its the most beautiful thing
she has ever laid eyes upon

Edging closer to her
nervous she will bolt

Filling the air
assualting my nose

Cherry blossom trees
Releasing their thickly sweet perfume
carried on the breeze

wet aphault
after a summer shower
tickling the back of my throat

Freshly mowed grass
Their light scented aroma
Clinging to my clothes

Chlorine filled pools
Making my cough
splashing all about
