The rain will bring us
Either sorrow or blessings
Never in between

Peace,
Impossible to grasp the concept,
For the people today cannot seem to accept,
Reconciliation is the path to the righteous way,
& retribution instigates violence & only dismay,

The world is filled with grief & woe,
The sorrow of the people is entertainment ; a show,
Though all this pain exist, there is something strange,
People get up to watch, but never to make a change...
Inspired by the anti-apartheid activist,Nelson Mandela

Muse,
Like a melody, its a force that inspires,
Sacred it is, for its what the heart desires,
Memories of you are as inevitable as change,
Absurd as it might seem, I must be deranged,

Constantly scouring this vast uncertain land,
Will raze the world in pursuit of something blue,
A toast to this lifelong search that will end,
Written in the heavens, I saw my muse; you...
This is my first acrostic poem. In fact its a progressive acrostic poem.
To the love of my life, tienes mi corazon...

You used to be the one who shined,
To ensure the day would be fine,
I used to long for your lovely voice,
No other serenade was my choice,

Now things are not what they used to be,
You went on with life courageously,
You left me to rot in endless deterioration,
Your departure without any true explanation,
You promised the world without any sorrow,
& I longed each day to see you tomorrow,

But now love is a myth,
Woes in slumber,suppressed,
As if our past was a gift,
& we were never meant to last...
To the past that happened
