It takes
hate to appreciate love
absence to gratify presence
pain to embrace solace
& tears to enjoy the laughter
my bones play a beat
soft echos from the body speak
your skin plays a lie
soft secrets form an alibi.
i’m sinking now.
hold on to ground.
beneath it she moves
to softly make a sound.
-
hold on. she cries.
soft secrets and quiet lies.
taking my time
taking my time.
Her raspberry lips pressed
tightly against mine
And I wondered if she’d stay
locked like this.
Uncertainty bellows out
from a cavern within.
I am but alone now
I was alone then.

Bell works
If I thought I could wash you out of my head,
I would never get out of the shower.
I would never stop clearing away the dead skin,
Stop soaking in lotions and salts,
just to remove the smell of you.
But still you remain,
Suffocating me like oil on water.

So I lather,
Rinse,
Repeat.

The anticipation of tasting you on my tongue is tantalizing all of my neurons

Firing my synapses sharply while I wait for you to come to me, hungrily

I'm not used to feeling so fixated on a fixture in space, not one with a face

But your fingers make music, mine make words, so lets get together and

burn, burn, burn.

I've met someone.

My hands are shaking
And my nerves are shot
My whole body is quaking
And my heart's in a knot.
I need a quick release,
For some dopamine to flow.
I need to make some peace
And I needed it long ago.
So now I'm just blowing smoke,
Lips wrapped around a cigarette.
I'm out here going broke
But I feel no regret.
I'm spending all I got
Burning through packs.
I'm so **** distraught
And I just can't relax
Till the nicotine kicks in
And the smoke pours out.
I keep on giving in
Cause I just can't do without.
