Pain - the opposite of happiness,
yet they have never been able to identify themselves as separate entities.
Pain and happiness,
best friends with their paths aligned for a lifetime.
Yet, what best explains the relationship between love and people best.
Pain is inevitable.
Alas, the gifted, the extraordinary,
they spend lifetimes lurking,
creeping up on pain,
wondering if its ready to accept them,
and hold them captive forever.

I just want to feel my hand on the shaft
Pushing and pulling, making my craft
Where fantasies, wonders and pleasures become
The basis for a mischievous mental mind graft

Where pleasure meets pain like abs against rock
Sweat glistens down my brow as I glance at the clock
Couldn't clean all this filth with a bucket and mop
I play with my hair while stroking my ego

Gotta get it done quick or the whole thing's a bust
Gotta take enough time, satisfaction's a must
Don't care the sensation of feathers or wood
Gotta push and pull quick to work out the rust

I'll spend this whole night heavy in breathing
Because it feels so good. I'm never leaving
Don't be confused if this text is deceiving
I'm just writing some new rhymes to "Don't Stop Believing"

Real virtue is not found
    in our unfortunate town

Leave me be if you cannot bring
yourself to leave intact your moral obelisk

                                                            You are sheltered

And I will protect my own as
        the only thing worth saving

                                                 I will shelter you

Real virtue is not found
    in our unfortunate town
I touched the presence of warmth on my pillow
it made me feel sure that I was safe,
went back to sleep smoother than my heartbeat.
Then I awoke to find myself hidden
behind memories of you.

Standing on the corner of never say no,
my feet are firmly planted
in I cannot say I am sorry.
Will I be the rock laying here asking myself
where I found this bitter pill
under my tongue?

Did I sleep while it rained on everything we ever had
until nothing but sand existed
inside all of these silent moments?
When bluebirds sang
about how the stars laugh
was I here drowning
in my pride?

I touched the presence of warmth on my pillow,
then I reached out to yours
felt the cold.
I lay here and listen to the rain
falling smoother than my heartbeat
I have never felt
so alone.

Here's to old friends, sometimes lovers, lost causes
and occasional jovial drunkenness.
Here's to vices and virtues, to living without apologies or regrets.
To breaking in order to heal.
To the lost who have given up on finding a way home.
Here's to survival.
Drink up, people. You only live once.
Eat slow.
Love hard.
Live every moment like you mean it, or you might as well be
dead.

Just imagine there are no countries
Instead one big landmass
Where the people live together in ease
Surrounded by peace and harmouny

Just imagine all the people living for today
Creating history everday.
Just imagine sun rising so beutifully
And at night the moon gleaming beutifully in the dark night

Just imagine for one moment
The darkest moment of your life
Lightened by a  smile
And more brighten by a smile in reply.

Just imagine every extraordinary innovation
By a life time of preparation
Life is full of decision
Everday the community is developing

Just imagine your self
Flying among clouds
The wright brothers did
And they were right

Just imagine a simple word
That you have never heard
Can change your life
It’s a small world after all

Just imagine your so close
Yet so far for your self to be expose
Make your parents proud
You make god proud.

Just imagine someone knows
Deep inside your heart
How hard you worked
To reach your destined goals

Just imagine you tried your best
Yet you failed even with every step
You gave it all till nothing was left
Seek out the strength within you to victory

Said Hamlet to Ophelia,
I'll draw a sketch of thee,
What kind of pencil shall I use?
2B or not 2B?
