Did the habit pattern first appear
not from reason but feeling?
the person created his comfort zone
mindless that it would be his undoing?

The heart is a lonely habitat
its owner is seldom home
blinded and distracted
it ceases never to roam-

wayfarer in a strange land
stranded on some faraway shore
where the local language it doesn't understand
it is no longer home- desired any more

from many ailments

Birdie fell from nest
mother rushed to grassy ground

Stones at hill-bottom
different shapes and sizes
school-kids have their pick

  trees still bathed in last night's dew

Sunday at the park
children rush to the playground
parents are relieved

Christmas' bells ringing
families celebrating
some poor are starving.

Vintage village-train
brings me back to childhood days
grandpa was driver

Trees laden with fruits
swinging in late summer air
a few drop on ground

Music at midnight
no one knows from where it comes
it stirs lovers' hearts

After school concert
she looked radiant in the night
it was my first kiss

Village post-office
  so many letters I sent
  my heart lost to love

why I would not put away:
she wrote: I love you.

Dog led its master
he wore very thick glasses
to hide his blindness

Tool in farmer's hand
he walks into early dawn
thinking of his crops

annual school-concert
parents are all excitement
when will the show start?

Under old oak tree
wild flowers bloom aplenty
none knows their true names
