You will still see me then

if you remain a loyal friend

When all in the  crowd

rushes in one direction

on another route

I focus my attention

I am still not ready for beauty

until I have cleansed myself of impurity

I will wait

             the time is not yet

             longer will I wait

             it's still not the shadow of sunset-



             upon patience my eyes are set

             who's to say it's too late?

              the scheme of things I will not upset

              I will wait before I can hope to celebrate

An artist has first

to be a dreamer

if he's too much in the sun

masterpieces he cannot deliver

Life is either

that or this

plan or hope whatever

much would you still miss

I'm not scared of being wrong

   myself I would never condemn

   unscathed and unbroken

   I will soldier along
