I am no soldier
but I come under fire
each and ev'ry day

I am no sailor
but I've been all at sea
drowning in salt waters

I am no pilot
but I've oft been shot down
and crashed and so often burned

I am only me
but whom I am I made
and if you don't like it............ TUFF
TUFF..tough- in England it means  ( who cares what you think you don't matter or so what hard cheese you can't have what you want )

There's a man in the mirror

wearing my face...

backwards.
He looks like me but is he me because he wears my smile on the wrong side of his face.

Forgive me
for never saying
what your heart as longed to hear
it's not that I cannot
but more
that I dare not

for what
words could I

a humble Poet speak...

to make
your heart mine own

as your heart

owns

mine.

On silken wings and silken strings
the garden doth awake
and from their beds those sleepy heads
their petals gently shake
a snail or two say how are you
as bumblebees take wing
to nectar sweet with sticky feet
as skylarks start to sing
a ladybug sleeps yet so snug
beneath a quilted leaf
her dreams untold as wings unfold
as earthworms crawl beneath
the ants at work refuse to shirk
they have no time to play
and cabbage whites like stars at night
take flight and fly away
the field mouse and wooded louse
attract the watchful eye
of tawny owl and feathered fowl
that own the morning sky
a homeward cat puts pay to that
no bird is fool enough
to try to land where danger stands
All teeth and claws called Fluff
so morrow breaks and nature wakes
and soon enough will we
but until then this land of men
is theirs so naturally

Let this night my silence seem as one with cricket and with woodland owl
and let my ache of you be one with coyote and with wolves mournful howl
that I by lake and flowing stream could er' compare my flowing tears
as I watch in plaintiff awe as moonlight so softly disappears
for what am I if I am not a part of you and hence apart from you
I too liken of the forest elm and oak bear arms untaken too
so let this night in silent reverie give up but a whisper of hope
as I from beneath your window sigh and to the darkness now elope
for love unrequited stings the heart a double edge
as I my heart though poor it is to your heart pledge
no man er' knew such need and want as I do here
awaiting a chance to love you dear.

Our Story

I like to wander to places
Places full of letters,
Places full of words,
Places full of stories.

My eyes are burning with passion,
Letters swim across, in front of me.
They pull me in, never letting go.
I'm trapped in a story I cannot fathom.

I am a part of a story.
A story filled with emotions,
Lessons, reasons, and seasons.
Yet, I am only on chapter fifteen.

I am a character of a story.
A character who has problems,
But caring, appreciating, and understanding.
I'm still trying to find a place in this world.

My life is a plot.
I will never know what would happen tomorrow.
The tranquility of time scares me.
I don't want to be afraid anymore.

Our story is unpredictable.
We are in a book of life.
A dictum of peace.
A tiny spark of hope.

Don't close your part of the book yet.
Something good is still happening.
Never ever regret.
This isn't the end.
This is for my obsession for books. Also for me, my friends, and the people's unpredicted life.

Fearless

That one night
Was a disaster
It rained bullets
I heard many screams

Shattered glass on the floor
Ashes on the ground
Smokes, still swirling
Ammunations scattered everywhere

I will never forget
How horrifying the sight was
How traumatizing the memory is
It was an inevitable event

I saw everything
Collide in front of me
Like showers of black sparks
I watch them, standing still

Bodies falling, lifeless
Bullets firing, soundless
Men killing, merciless
But I am standing here, watching, fearless
To all the brave hero and heroines. To all the people who helped and deliver kindness. Stay fearless.
