Do you ever find yourself
slowly slipping out of the grasp of reality,
and into the embrace of insanity?
Silently hoping for a miracle,
or maybe just a change in humanity?

The world is numb to our silent tears,
they say that we're weak because we have fears.
But I know that's not true,
and I know they are wrong,
for they are the weak and we are the strong.

We stay up every night staring into the void,
our minds erased, and our hearts destroyed.
For what you may ask?
And we will reply;
This is my mask, behind which I cry.
The pain we endure you may never know.
The pain we endure we may never show.

Feeling like I do
When I do, and do I,
Miss you.
Well, I know why.

We loved us,
but we didn't love each other.
Like heat in the summer.
We were warm, but we could suffer.

Remembering You and I
The littlest things.
How did it die?
Is love made to sting?

We both sit alone.
"She thought too much.
He didn't care enough."
Written on love's tombstone.

Autumn Prelude

The beautiful leaves
Are turning color
It is Autumn now
Smoke twirls from chimneys
And bitter Autumn winds
Sting my face and hands
Leaves are falling down
And because of mighty winds
The trees are standing bare
Springtime birds are flying south
To escape the howling winds
And falling snowflakes

Birdies now with golden wing
Join the harp to sweetly sing
Over the meadow and in the skies
Oh how Autumn so quickly flies!
Weeks and days quickly pass
Enjoy Autumn while it lasts
Days quickly die
And years rapidly fly

I know, this probably doesn't sound as good as some of my other poems,
but I hope you enjoy it anyway!!! :) ~~~~~<3
